the yoko short

I am so glad you sent me this email, I washed the shorts and the dye on the leather patch on the back rant when I washed it in cold water. Not only did this ruin the shorts it also ruined everything else that I washed with it.

I love the Yoko jeans, I have two pairs in size 26. So i ordered the same in the shorts. I was surprised to find I can barely put the 26 on. I had to order a size 28! And the 28 fit but was not super flattering. I have an atheletic build. (waist 27: hip 27) I feel this model would be best for those girls with a very slim figure.

These shorts are super cute!! Unfortunately, I ordered a 27 and it was definitely big on me. I'm 5'4, 124lb. I usually fit between a 26-27 in jeans/shorts, and I decided to order a 27. Definitely should have gone with the 26. I'm returning the 27 and exchanging for the 26, hopefully it'll fit!

Thick jean material! But fit was way too snug on me. And it was looser on my hips. My thighs are really big and the material doesn’t give. I had to return unfortunately:(

Super super cute shorts, if I could even get them up my thighs. The biggest size was still too small. Guess Aritzia isn’t made for bigger girls

These are the best fitting shorts I've ever had. Usually the legs are way too tight or the waist is way too loose (I'm not even curvy so it's always weird), but these have just enough room in the legs, and only a slight gap at my waist. I would recommend sizing down as my waist is like 32.5" the 31 still gives me like an extra inch at the waist. They're also the perfect shorts length for tall people, or anyone who wants shortish shorts that prevent your thighs from rubbing together. I would give it 10 stars if I could, the only thing is that I found the black ones fit slightly looser in the hips than the two blue colours, but not enough to warrant sizing down again.

I like the short, either the materials and the color looks nice to me. Just the size is not accurate. I ordered size 23, at the waist part, it still too big to me. Normally Levi’s size 23 fits me.

This is my second pair, the first I had to return as even though my regular size is a 28 I was unable to button it up. I now have a size 30. Please consider sizing up.

Great fit, true to size! I’m a 25 in denim forum jeans and it was the same for these shorts. Love the mid thigh length- a great alternative to short shorts

These shorts fit TTS and are a bit on the shorter side. They could ride up in the back on someone with a fuller backside.

I am usually a 26 in denim forum (arlo style) but I had to size down to fit my waist (tight on thighs but they do stretch with wear). Overall they're super cute and the length is nice.

So happy I got these! I was holding out for a pair of Levi’s, but decided on these ones. The fit is great. I sized up, I don’t like denim shorts that are snug.

When it comes to my shorts I do prefer short lengths, but my job has a rule on length. Pretty much they have to pass the finger tip test or be an inch or 2 above the knee and cannot be cutoffs. So finding shorts long enough that also look good is a challenge. These work great, although I do wish they came in a finished hem. I have to purchase the Bermuda length so I have enough to roll the hem and make them appear to not be cutoffs ha! I would rather get the 7in and not have to roll but regardless these work great. The only thing is these ran a little small in my normal 25 but the 26s are a little bigger in waist and hip after wearing for awhile. They fit great straight from dryer but do loosen up a little more than I want. I like a snug fit that's why I went with these over the Arlo loose that does have a clean hem. At least I can throw in dryer and not worry they will shrink too much.

Decent fit, a little stiff after washing but I like that. The denim has started to shape to my body now making the shorts flattering

I’m 5’7 and weigh around 140 lbs n I’m normally a 27/28 in jeans (like Levi’s) but I got a size 29 since the description says they have no stretch at all. It fit rlly good around the waist but it was a little tight around my butt but yk if i went a size up it’d b too loose around my waist so it’s wtv they’re rlly cute tho n comfy

Really love the size and shape of these shorts. Found it very difficult to get shorts that were not too short. These are the perfect length and can be dressed up and dressed down. Will be buying in every colour!

I love the fit of these shorts!!! They are so flattering and hit me at the right place on my thighs. I would say they are true to size and I bought the same size as I did in the full length jeans by Denim Forum. The only problem is that they are quite uncomfortable when I sit down, as they dig into all the wrong places (hence the 4 stars and not 5)... I still love them and would repurchase a pair in the future!

A lot of reviews said to size down, so I got a 26 rather than my usual size 27. They fit nicely, pretty tight on the thighs but they're not toooo tight. They still have a bit of a back gap though.

These shorts are totally perfect (the length is a dream and the quality of Denim Forum is always great!) but I had to return mine immediately. These run super small so even though I'm normally a Denim Forum 28 and still regularly wear size 28 jeans from them, I definitely needed to size up!

I have a pair of denim forum jeans in a 28, purchased the same size in these and can barely do up buttons, likely because their isnt much stretch. I would say size up one size and expect them to fit tight.

The quality is really nice. I usually wear a size 27 in aritzia shorts but these fit slightly smaller on me but they are still cute.

The colour of these is a perfect washed black. They’re a good rise and nice fit through the legs but the waist is big. I tried a size down also but then the legs were too tight.

My usual jeans size and their recommended size is a 26 but it was very loose on the waist - definitely need to size down. The shorts are classic style and the black color goes very nice with any tops. Note that these are not zipper fly: it has 5 buttons that aren’t as easy to take off as quickly as you wish.

Fit okay and perfect basics for the summer.

These shorts fit really nice, true to size I’d say. Except the top of the waist band is pretty loose, and I don’t have a big booty by any means. So I’ll need to wear a belt with them, which is kind of annoying, but I think sizing down would be too small on the legs/butt. Keeping them though because I can’t try on in store right now and I need them for vacay next week.

I am normally a size 25-26 in pants, so I got a size 4, and the waist of these is huuuuge on me. definitely wish i had sized down! that said, i really like the length and the relaxed fit, so i may just take them in at the sides!

Absolutely love these denim shorts. The length is perfect, they fall above the knee mid-thigh. These shorts do not ride up and are very comfortable for denim shorts. I am usually a size 24/25 and I got the 24 and they fit comfortably. I would highly recommend these shorts if you’re looking for the perfect denim shorts!

Snug at first but after only a few hours of wearing fit perfectly. I have a huge butt and tiny waist so the waist is loose, but that’s normal for me in all jeans and it is not glaringly obvious with these. They are so flattering on my bum too well worth the money

I like the length and colour but they are pretty stiff so my normal size felt a little smaller than usual. I’m sure they’ll stretch a bit with wear

Really nice shorts but the waist fits too big. Very comfortable though and good quality.

I had to size up for my butt, the waist is a bit bigger but with a belt it looks cute. Fabric is not stretchy and I ended up having to size up twice but I love them ! I weigh 135 / 140 lbs if that helps anyone.

These are more of a boyfriend style loose fit. They fit me as if they were about 2 sizes up from my regular size.

I always struggle to find Jean shorts that fit my figure. These are the best ones I’ve found! I’m 5’3”, 114 lbs. I have slightly curvy hips and these are really flattering:)
