The Yoko High Rise Slim 28L

The fabric is soft, and they hug in the right places. Also super stylish, and a great alternative to skinny jeans!

Love these jeans but I had to return for a smaller size. I’m usually a 24 in these jeans so maybe it was the colour that fit differently.

I tried these in a 25 and a 27 before settling on the 26. I should have returned them because I realize now they weren’t going to fit right regardless of the size. Tight in the front but a big amount of gaping in the waist. These jeans have no stretch.

I'm 112 lbs, 5'6", and a slightly higher hip to waist ratio (.80) due to age and two yrs postpartum (for reference, Gap's classic straight high rise jeans fit me perfectly in a 26). I tried the Yoko slim 26s in a 28L, too small, which I suspected would happen; I tried the 27s in a 28L, and I believe the fit was correct, but as I wanted these jeans for work, I needed a darker blue and a longer leg, so I tried the 27s in a 30L in the eyeliner black, but the crotch was baggy (could grab a fist-full of fabric with both hands), which just didn't feel flattering or comfortable; I suspect the 30L was technically made for a taller body even though the leg length was exactly what I sought. In the end, I'll stick to the 28L and only buy these for casual purposes when/if I decide to try this Yoko journey again.

I bought these because I wanted to get away from skinny jeans but wanted something stretchy. Unfortunately the "comfort stretch" was actually not comfortable so they went back.

Third pair in this style - happy with quality and price point.

I bought a size up from my normal size based on a few reviews and a friends review . They are were a little too big after a days wear I think next time I’d buy my regular size . I could have also gone with the shortest length to get the ankle length without having to roll them as I did with the 28 length .

I have this pair of jeans in a few colours and I just bought the black and they fit more snug than the blue jeans.

I'm 5'6", 114lbs, size 0/s/xs. I got the Yoko in w24, 28L, Black Eyeliner. They fit just right, although a tad tighter than my Yoko 3y Blue & Stormy in the same size, but it might be because they are brand new. They fit slim, not skinny, which is what I want. They don't really have much stretch, the fabric feels like real jeans, a bit stiff, but they relax a bit as you wear them. They sit just at or above my belly button, which is what I want. The fabric on these black ones feels a bit less soft than on my blue ones. I wanted a compromise between skinny jeans and baggy ones, neither of which I really feel comfortable wearing as a 37yr old woman. These jeans are that compromise, and quite versatile. I cut the hems off at home because I prefer a raw hem. They graze just above my ankles and allow me to wear a variety of shoes and short boots. I am satisfied with my purchase, which is almost always the case with Aritzia, for me.

I will buy those Jeans for the rest of my life !

The Yoko Denim Forum High Rise Slim are great Fitting jeans. The Legs fit like stovepipe jeans of old and the top streamlines the stomach, hips and butt. LOVE them!

Want crazy about these jeans. They are too stiff. I have a pair of Lola and they are so soft.

I have these in a light blue, and bought one recently in the darkest black color. I prefer the feel of my blue ones. Not sure if there’s a difference once it has been dyed but the black ones feel more stiff and less soft than the blue ones. Still love the cut and the rise and fit of these jeans. They do stretch out a lot

I really like these for both dressing up and down.

This is my third pair. I wanted a lighter shade for summer. These are nicely broken in and soft. Price is a little high but I’m very Satisfied with the fit and quality.

These jeans are fantastic. Very flattering. My "fit guide" said I was a 28 waist but those were too tights and I needed a 29 (which is what I would have otherwise expected. So dont size down) I'm 5'6" and the 28" length is a little long... I think I'll get an inch taken off.

Love these jeans! But ended up ordering a 26L and I’m so glad I did!

The initial fit of these pants is amazing, however, If you get your true size they will fit on the larger size, so I suggest down sizing especially because they will stretch dramatically after one use.

I also have followed the washing instruction, "cold water and on its own" and after two washes it seems the leather patch is bleeding into the denim, so now there is this huge yellow ring around the patch, and the patch itself is turning blue... for this price I expect better.

I have other pairs of Denim Forum jeans and I love the fit and quality of jeans. These jeans felt very different from the other pairs I have and were very stiff. I was not impressed with the fabric for the price

The fit and wash are both perfect

I like the fit of these jeans over the levis wedgie because they seem to have more stretch in them. And the fabric is very soft overall. I am 5ft6 and 140 lbs and the 28 were a perfect fit. Now I just need kore colours…

A nice change from my usual skinnies. Slim but not tight and the material is substantial. Love them.

Bought a 25 in the 7yrs ptb and a 25 in black eyeliner. The black have a tad more stretch and fit slightly bigger, which is fine but I would have ordered a size down if I’d known. Waist 25 and hip 37 for reference. Would love to see a curvy option as my only complaint with denim forum is that my butt is a bit squished while the waist gapes after a few wears!

I have these pants in a 27 and sized up to a 28 as I’ve gained a little weight. The 28 is actually smaller than the 27! I couldn’t even get them on. The quality of material is also worse than it was when I bought the 27 a few years ago. Feels like cheap denim, not worth the price.

Love these jeans. Bought two. Great fit. They do stretch after a few wears so when buying make sure they are snug.

The color and fabric were perfect. I love a medium denim that isn’t bright blue, and I prefer jeans that are all cotton with no stretch as they mold to your body and soften over time. I could tell these jeans would do just that. However, I looked like a jockey when I put these on. I gave thin thighs, and these were so baggy in that area, particularly just above my knees. Unfortunately, I had to return them. For reference, I’m 5’-6” and 110lbs. If Levi’s wedgie straight jeans work for you (my go-tos), these might not be the best fit for you.

I ordered these jeans in the "stay black" colour. The first wash, following the washing instructions meticulously as I always do, they became so discoloured they were unwearable. Upon contacting the concierge, they told me this was my fault and chastised me like a bad child. It was humiliating. They refused to return them even though this was the first wash and they had been purchased under two weeks previously. Eventually they did agree to exchange them, but made sure to tell me they would be making no further "exceptions" for me. I am so upset at both the poor product quality and how I have been treated by their employees, especially as someone who has shopped at Aritzia extremely regularly for many years. Will not be purchasing again and I will be exploring other clothing store options in the future.

Great Jeans, so comfy and stylish.

I will say the wash of these was lovely, the length was lovely, the fit was perfect... but, I've only worn these about 7 times (washed once in that time) and the denim ripped at the back pocket, right along the seam. This is a sign of poor fabric and poor stitching. Denim is one of those fabrics that is very durable, so for this to rip is a sign of poor quality.

I am 5’5 and got the 26L and it fits amazing. It does stretch a little bit after initially wearing it, but the material is very soft and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

I love them! I’m 5’7, 50kg, 25 fits great, very slightly loose on the waist (I feel I could have done 24 but the high waist would have probably been lower..), 26” is a decent cropped length where I can still wear them with sneakers or bluntstones without any awkwardness. The only thing is that they fit great fresh off the dryer, but by the end of the day wearing them, the waist and behind area tend to become loose/stretched.. so it’s difficult not to wash and dry them between each wear reshape them and have a decent fit. I would still buy them in other colours :)
