This coat exceeded my expectations. It’s warm, thick, cozy and chic. It does fit very oversized so I would suggest sizing down. As someone who is 5’1, the mid slouch hits me at my knees which I think is a perfect length. Also! It does have pockets for the reviewers that commented it doesn’t. You have to gently open them at the seams.
I am obsessed with this coat. Such a good alternative for short girls (I’m 5’2”) and the full length slouch drowns me. Fits relaxed and goes perfectly over a suit jacket if needed. I sized down in this fit.
The look, fit and colour of the coat were exactly what I was looking for. I am 5’0 and it hit right at the knee. Loose and slightly oversized fit. Can definitely wear a thick sweater underneath. Before buying, consider which material you’re choosing. The camel hair is a bit scratchy .. the texture kind of reminded me of felt vs. soft cashmere or wool feel. Also there were quite a bit of loose threads, so not the best quality. I expected was expecting a bit better quality, but still happy and will wear all winter long.
I’m 5 feet tall so this hits me at a perfect length. I’ve been wearing this coat in mid 20° weather with obviously thick layers and I feel so cozy. I bought this thicker coat to avoid wearing puffers as much as possible and it’s doing exactly what I wanted. of course once it gets to the lower 20° weather then It’s time for the puffer, but I’ve been wearing this coat almost every day I go out.
I ordered the slouch mid coat 3 days before Xmas. It took only 2 days for it to arrive. When I took the coat out of the box, it was very wrinkly and thin. Unlike the Slouch long that I purchased last year. I was so disappointed. I returned it!
Perfect size and length for me. For reference, I’m 5’2” 125lbs and it hits just on top of my knee. Not a big fan of the regular length coats as I feel like I’m swimming in them so this one is just the perfect length.
I wore this coat every single day for 3 weeks before I realized you have to cut the stitching to open up the pockets. They’re sewed pretty tight and I was scared I was going to make a hole in my new coat but it has pockets! It’s such a flattering coat and has gotten softer the more I’ve worn it. It’s my forever coat and I’m only sad I didn’t purchase this sooner. It’s kept me warm while walking around outside in 35 F degree weather and looks chic with every outfit! Definitely buy this coat! Beautifully crafted and tailored.
I’m 5’7, 120 pounds and I got a Small. air fits slouchy but doesn’t drown me.
I have the long slouch coat in size XS with a shorter length. Although the XS fits me fine, it doesn't offer the relaxed look I want and feels a bit bulky on me. To achieve a more relaxed appearance, I decided to try the mid length in a size small, while my usual size from Aritzia fluctuates between XS and S. If you prefer a relaxed coat look, I'd suggest sticking to your regular size instead of sizing down. Btw, I think the mid length looks better on my height than the long one, proportional wise.

I wear this coat everyday and for every occasion. Can be dressed up or dressed down. I love that it is not super fitted so I can wear a big sweater underneath, but am also warm enough without one. I’m obsessed with the length of the coat, perfect for my height. Love love love.
Followed advice to size down, but the bottom button when closed pulled across my hips and it lost that slouchy look. If you have any hips at all, would suggest sticking to your true size. Material and finishings were lovely though.
Great quality, so versatile. If you’re like me and there are days that you want to channel Grace Keely vibes it’s ideal or if you want that laid back look draped over your shoulders, worn with cuffed jeans and combat boots this coat will knock the look right out of the park. Great investment.
The fabric is amazing, the lining on the inside is well sewn. The only problem is it’s too big. I am a size S usually in tops and jackets. I got XS. But it was still so big on me. Gonna return and get XXS.
PLEASE make a slouchy coat mid length with a drop shoulder hem instead of the one down the arm, it would be so much more flattering!! The hem down the arm makes me look like a football player around the shoulders haha (I’m a size 26 pants/size small). And please add a back vent! It would be so much more attractive!!! I’ve been looking everywhere for a high quality camel wool coat with these features !
I’ve been looking for a quality coat with a relaxed fit that suits my 5ft frame. I finally found the slouch coat and love the modern but also mid century design feel. It is very warm for winter wear for and great for layering over sweaters.
(5”4, 130lbs) I’d definitely recommend trying the sizes in store. I’m usually a M in puffers (coz I like to fit in big sweaters) and in this coat, I sized down to an XS (and it’s still a bit oversized).
I really like how you can dress down or up this coat. I also think for 5”5 and under, this is a good length. I tried the Slouch New and it was too much so this is good!
Also, I don’t think it’s warm for -10c. You need to layer or even wear a light down vest under to make sure you’re warm in the winter. Overall, I know this coat is timeless and will last me a really long time so worth the purchase!
Disappointed in this style. Terrible fit, sleeves are too big. Coat length needs to be longer with the buttons location on this coat. Seems this was a lazy design by cropping the long version. Material is light and loose, wrinkled, just looks overall cheap.
