the powder parka™ short

Unfortunately the fit appears to be colour dependent. I was fortunate enough to spot the mid Powder in store and size S was a perfect fit so I snapped it up. More recently, I ordered a short Powder Parka (long cold Canadian winters) again size small and again a perfect fit but changed my mind on the colour when “gunmetal green” became available. This size S could not fit more differently. As a matter of fact I would estimate an entire size smaller.

I LOVE this jacket! The quality is amazing and it’s so warm. The only downside is how heavy it is. I find it makes it a bother to carry around if you want to take it off during day.

I’m 5’4” 130 lbs and the size small is perfect! Love the fit and style of this parka. The hood is massive, but the jacket is super warm and cute.

I'm 5'8 and pretty slim, I ordered a size S and it was s little too small, so I exchanged it for a size M and it fits perfectly. It has an inside pocket near the boob area for bus cards, a wallet or anything that you want to have easy access to. The pockets heat up my hands SO fast! Overall, this coat is amazing, it keeps me really warm and I love the style. Would 100% recommend!!

Quality is amazing. Love the fact that they use responsible down which means no ducks or geese were harmed in the process of making these coats. It’s super duper warm; best for cold snowy winters. Not bulky, and extremely flattering to wear! I got the beige color and it’s beautiful. My hubby told me to buy all my clothes at aritzia after seeing the quality of my new jacket.

Overall it is a very nice and beautiful down jacket to wear in winter. However, The amount of feathers has significant less than the previous one I got few years back.

very nice colour and very warm

Living in Vancouver, I couldn't justify buying a pricey winter coat. I've been using a cheap one that only survived a year before losing its warmth. I finally gave in and got this. I only regret not buying it sooner!! It has all the features I'm looking for: sleek design, removable fur, hidden breast pocket, back straps, warm pockets. The clip in the breast pocket is a nice surprise too! I'm 5' and the length is perfect for me. It sits right in the middle of my hips. I could not recommend this enough!

If you want and need a stylish fully functional jacket to keep you warm in even subzero weather and yet get one at a very fair price, then buy the Powder Parka.

Absolutely love how comfortable this parka is! I wanted less of a bulky look/feel that I had with the super puffs and find this coat easier to move in.

It's absolutely as waterproof as it claims and very warm.

I was not eyeing on this jacket but I was at the store and tried it on, and it actually looked very cute!
Its very warm jacket but still looks stylish, it won't make you look like snowman.
I like that it is "short" jacket but still covers my butt (I am 5 ft and purchased S)
it is bit bulky side but not overly bulky, I could wear this in Seattle, for walking around town / hiking and stuffs. I was looking for something not only for strolling in town but also for outdoor activities and this jacket fits well for both situation. very happy with purchase and I think I will be able to wear this for long time!

The parka is quite warm and it is light. Overall I like it but I find the outer shell fabric a bit stiff. The collar stands up and pokes my face and will not lie down.

What a great jacket! I haven't tested it in winter weather yet so I hope it performs as good as it looks. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5-star review is the knit storm cuffs in the sleeves. They peek out (a bit too long, perhaps?) and I feel that it cheapens the overall look of the jacket.

Parka is a perfect fit! I normally wear a size L and I ordered a XL.
