The mid-rise mini  

Inspired by the iconic spirit of the '90s, The Ricci is Denim Forum's classic mid-rise mini skirt. It's made with non-stretch 100% regenerative cotton denim from Italy — the more you wear it, the better it gets. This version comes in a medium indigo wash with a clean hem.

Fits large
The quality of the product is excellent; however, the design may not be the most flattering for shorter individuals, as it may not complement their proportions as well as it would for taller individuals. Also, size 23 is too big on me in this brand.

This is a MICRO not a “mini”
I really wanted this skirt to work. Classic. Good quality. Yet when I got them in the mail, they were micro size. For reference I’m 5’1 and have a pear shape, curvy hips. This barely converted my butt, maybe a CM to spare. It was laughable. I’m not sure who this would work on… maybe someone with no hips or butt could get a few extra cm’s. Going up a size did not improve length as it then became massive and rode up as I walked. Otherwise true to size but would suggest Aritzia align the website description of “Micro” as the item’s tag did describe it as such! Just be warned.

Don't size down like other reviews mentioned, I got my usual size and it was just fitting. if you have any curves it's too mini for comfort, sitting down exposes almost everything. Material would have been comfortable if the fit was nice.

Shorter than expected.
The rise is a bit odd - not high, not low waist. Meant that the waist wasn’t tight enough but any smaller of a size and it would’ve been too short.

Runs very big
The quality is fantastic and it’s exactly what I was looking for, but the sizing is really off. According to the size chart I should be a 28 in the hips and I assumed I would have to have it taken in anyway as I usually do. I ordered a 27 based on reviews saying it ran big. I could have sized down again to a 26 at least if not twice to a 25. I’ve opted to take it to get the waist altered instead as regardless it would have been unwearable due to the waist and I was concerned if I sized down it would be unwearable due to being too short. My measurements are 26” waist 39” hips, 5’2.

Careful with sizing
If you have a butt and wider hips, stick to your normal size. I got a 25 because I listened to the reviews. I should’ve bought a 26 because it was tight around my waist area.

Best skirt ever
The fit is amazing, the quality is amazing. It just hugs you in all the right places and is so comfy. You don’t have to constantly pull the skirt down. I am normally a 28 and sized down to a 27 and it fit perfectly
