The '90s loose jean

Inspired by the zeitgeist of '90s grunge, The Joni is Denim Forum's signature high-rise loose jean. Slouchy and oversized, these are big jeans with a bad attitude. Would not buy if you have any thigh or butt!!
I got these in a size 32. I have a 29/30 waist but always size up for my thighs and butt. I was hoping that since these are described as ‘loose’ that they’d fit. Couldn’t even get them up my mid thigh. Really disappointed as I got them on sale hoping they’d be nice and loose.

These fit really nice and are very comfortable to wear. The wash is also really pretty… I hesitated on them because I’m 44 and don’t want to look too mom-ish but I think they’re quite fashionable if styled right.

Love this fit!
I love this fit!! Please keep making them so I can get more colours eventually! I have them in bone and licorice so far. Really nice high rise and tight top block with a little room in the legs. On my body they aren’t really loose, they’re more of a nice straight leg. They fit slimmer than the agolde 90s pinch waist imo but are a very nice cheaper alternative and nicer fitting in my opinion! They fit me snug. I usually take 29 or 30 in Levi’s and had to take 30 in these and break them in. Love that the regular inseam is 30 inch and love that they are button fly.

Im 5'9 and the regular length was ankle length, so a little short but overall really good quality denim. Can wear everyday and wont stretch out or loose shape. Waist true to size.

Sizing was totally off
I'm usually between 23 and 24 so I ordered both to be safe. It being a loose fit I was pretty sure that 23 would be the better fit but wow both sizes were small. 23 I wasn't able to button. 24 felt uncomfortably tight even though it buttoned. It was very unusual that a loose fit jeans in a 24 was too tight.
Very disappointed!

Love the new fit
Finally these for true to size. Very flattering around the bum and I think they made the leg a bit slimmer. Vast improvement over the original Joni’s. Do not size down in these!!!! Take your true size. If anything you may need to size up if you are in the larger end of your usual size. I’m between a 25/26 is most brands and 26 was perfect.
