the '80s comfy denim shirt

This shirt is so good. Very versatile and so comfortable. Also washed really well! Very happy with it. I have it on 2 colours great buy!

Been looking for a denim shirt but this one fit me really awkward! Went back and forth on sizing and got my normal size (xs) but my problem with the shirt is it's sooo much longer in the back. From the front it looked like a normal button down but the back went all the way down to my knees, if you're on the shorter side I wouldn't recommend!

I love everything about this. It has replaced my denim jacket. The perfect weight, long and loose, looks good with the sleeves rolled or not. Perfect!

Sized down to an XXS and it was still pretty oversized--I usually wear an XS. Fits great and I plan on wearing it as an overshirt with so many things!

Okay, I love love love these denim shirts so much, I ended up with 4 different ones, the fabrics are all slightly different with varying thickness and I love the oversize fit. It’s a bit long in the sleeves but I like how it looks rolled up. So versatile. I get so many compliments when I wear them. I wish you brought back the Ozone Black!!!

After holding out for months and fruitless searches elsewhere for a quality denim shirt at a lower price point, I finally caved and purchased the Denim Forum shirt during a Clientele Sale. Absolutely no regrets. This oversize shirt is amazingly well-made and just the right weight. The 90's Vintage Bleu colour is the perfect darker shade that will wear well from spring to fall. I purchased my usual size, but could have sized down for a less oversized look.

I absolutely love this shirt! I am typically a medium, and got the medium and it is perfectly oversized. I got the 7 yrs color, and it is a soft, comfortable denim!

Great quality and awesome shade but definitely fits pretty big so not as easy to tuck in and give it a fitted look. But otherwise really nice garment.

I truly had one of these from the 80s. It was from my mom and I absolutely adored it! Unfortunately I lost it while moving and have been on the hunt to replace it ever since. This denim shirt is perfect and just like the one I loved and lost. It gives artist vibes to me! Love it! I ordered a Medium but had to size down. This has an oversized fit already so stay conservative and, if anything, size down.

This oversized denim is soft and so comfy! Easy to throw over shirts and a bathing suit. Beach blue is gorgeous. I did go with xs and I’m usually a s/4 in Aritzia items

I originally bought this shirt in a size small. For reference, I'm 5"6, ~136lbs, and a little broader through the shoulders (weight lifter). I'm usually a S/M and a US 6, so I went the small. It drowned me. Honestly, I reckon my ex (who's a mens 2XL) might have even been able to squeeze into it lol. I know it's supposed to be oversized, but IMO it looked a bit ridiculous- the sleeves were crazy long, and because they were so big, I couldn't even roll them as they just fell down. I don't know how the models are pulling off smalls- I guess it helps being tall? I also have no idea how they were able to tuck the shirt in- I had WAY too much fabric. I tried belting it and that also looked ridiculous.

However, I really liked the shirt- it's quite soft, looks well-made to me (time will tell), and I liked the colour (I went for the second lightest regular colour- the 7 year one). I personally thought the colour was pretty comparable to what's on the website. It's what I wanted, anyway. The XS is much better- it's still oversized. I'm glad I only dropped down one size (I did debate getting the 2XS) as there's quite a difference between the S and XS. I definitely couldn't have gone any smaller on the shoulders.
Overall it's a nice shirt, but I recommend going down a size. If you're short- the sleeve length might be an issue.

Lovely shirt, oversized, very soft and comfy. However the wash I got (5 Yrs kiss n tell) is so much darker and bluer than the photos and it does not match with the same wash in other items like the jeans. A bummer.

I LOVE this shirt. I have it in 3 colors and wear the black especially all the time. I usually wear a M/L in aritzia and would normally buy a size XL for an oversized fit but bought a L based on reviews and it’s very oversized in the best way. Also pretty long but just short of too long. I will say some colors are more denim than others. The black is definitely the heaviest followed by the white which still feels like denim. The blue and white striped one feels like a heavy cotton shirt but not a denim shirt. No complaints, I still love them all.

These are great oversized shirts to throw on as an extra layer or for a Zoom call. I have the black and white and love them both. It does fit large so size down if you're in between sizes.

When people are saying 'size down' they aren't kidding. I got the xxs and it's still huge. I'm 5'7 and this shirt is long. But, the quality is amazing and it's a beautiful shirt. Happy with my purchase.

I ordered slightly larger than my usual size to have the oversized look. Works so well. Goes with everything and is great quality.

This shirt lives up to it's name! Comfy! It does run significantly larger but still has a great shape.

Fit is on the larger side. Had to go down a couple of sizes to get the right fit for my frame.

Super soft denim, perfectly oversized, perfectly faded (I got the 7 year wash). I am 63, and this shirt is very reminiscent of one I had in about 1989! My new uniform, love how it looks with darker cropped jeans or black tights, and can’t wait to wear it with white jeans. Couldn’t love it more!

The sizing tool told me I needed a 2XL, I’m normally anywhere from a M to an XL with Aritzia though, so I bought an XL. It was HUGE and I ended up exchanging it for a L, which gives me a perfectly oversized fit. The material has a nice weight and seems to be really good quality.
