Love this blazer. It does fit oversized which is great if you want to wear sweaters or a hoodie under, but looks kind of big alone. I sized down to get that professional tailored suit look but now I can’t layer as much. Still a beautiful piece, especially with matching pants 😍

Love the blazer! So cute and such a staple piece! I’m 5”4 and wear00 in most pants so I was contemplating on xxs or Xs. Got xxs but the armpit was a bit tight but overall it’s beautiful and worth the splurge!

I was hesitant to buy this blazer as my upper body is pretty small and was afraid it would look too big on me. I bought a size 2 and it fit perfectly! Very stylish and comfortable. It’s a bit long on the sleeves but overall I’m very happy with it.

I love this blazer, I have it in two colors now. Looks and feels quality and professional, and I like the variety of patterns. I’m 5’10 and it looks a little long on me, but I take that as the style and the way it’s supposed to look but just keep that in mind. I bought a slightly smaller size than I usually would (2 instead of a 4) because it looked oversized on the model, and I think it fits nicely in the smaller size bc I tend to prefer a more fitted look.

This blazer is perfect. Dress it up, dress it down: it knows no bounds. The sleeves are long, but work well with being rolled up. Fits true to size.

As with all Aritzia clothing, the quality of this blazer was amazing for the price. Beautiful fabric and finish. Although we are 30 years apart, both my daughter and I would have wanted to share the blazer. The style was more casual than dressy and the window pane check was great, but the fit was off for both of us. We have wide shoulders and are smaller in the waist and bust area. The shoulders fit as expected but there was a lot of room in this blazer and it gapped too much when we fastened the buttons. We had to return it. For anyone who needs room in the bust area, it would likely be perfect.

I purchased a size 12 because it was all that was left and I needed the green/red & black one desperately. I am a size 10/L and the shoulders fit perfectly. The arms were too long and needed to get them hemmed. The coat is meant to look baggier and fit big, so it fell on me exactly how it does on the model. If you're okay with a more loose-fitting look then go for it, just beware of long sleeves.

This jacket doubles as outerwear + a chic piece to wear to the office (when it's safe to return)

I always worry about the tightness in the shoulder and the upper arm. I opt for the 10 and it has a more relax fit on the body (good in between from looking too oversize and like I might rip the seam)

I tried this on in store a couple months ago and feel in love with the fit and color of the Black Scarab! I didn’t buy it immediately in store, but kept an eye on this until it went on sale! Super excited that I got such a deal on this blazer!

The cut and fit of this blazer is amazing - I really like how the shoulder pads provide added structure to an otherwise oversized fit. The fabric is thick enough for extra warmth in the office and during the fall, but thin enough for spring/early summer. Versatile enough to be dressed up or down. Would love to get some more in different colors! I'm usually a size XS in tops so this oversized fit was TTS.

Got this blazer in the black scarab, wanted a nice plaid blazer for a while. I love the fit, it's super flattering. It was higher quality than I had expected, even had a chain detailing at the inside neck of the blazer. Highly recommend!

I’d wanted this for a long long time and finally decided to buy it...soooo glad I did! Is slightly oversized so I sized down for a more fitted look. The fabric and cut are beautiful and it’s good quality too!

Great quality, I was worried it would be too light because of the way it drapes in the photos but it has great weight to it. Was going to size up as the fit looked quite casual (supposed to be not 100% fitted) so I went with my regular size and can still fit a hoodie underneath, with slight tension in the shoulders. Really the only blazer you need, works with cool and warm toned looks.

I love the colour pattern, most of my blazers are solid colours so this is a refreshing break from that. My only dislike is the fake pockets. I never understood them. There’s nothing cute about pocket flaps that don’t actually have pockets. If I had known that I probably wouldn’t have bought it but oh well.

I ordered this originally in a size 4 (I’m usually an XS/S, 5’2, large bust and broad shoulders). Very impressed with the material and feel of the jacket but I was drowning in it. There was just a TON of material. So I ordered a size 2 and still the same issue, even if you were going for an oversize fit! I think on taller ladies this would work but it just didn’t work for my body. If I ordered a size 0 I doubt my shoulders would fit inside. Too bad because it’s beautiful!

Fabric and fit are perfect. Obsessed with this style, even bought more colors and different fabrics for warm and cold weather. The weight and length are amazing. I sized down since I think it runs a little big. But if you like the boyfriend style, just go with your usual size.

The fit, fabric and quality is great. I have few similar blazers that I purchased last year and like the cut but wish the length was slightly longer. Otherwise, another great piece to add which I can pair with dress pants or jeans.

It is ABOUT TIME Aritzia realized that girls above a size 10 want to look good too. I am a 14/16 in most brands and the 16 in this blazer fit like it was made for me! Please, please, please make this blazer in solid colors (black, cream) along with the matching pants!! I bought the matching pants and feel so boss-like going into meetings now!

Soft and comfy! Has a little stretch to it so I decided to go down a size. Looks a little bit more fitted now. All depends on the look you’re going for.

it’s high waisted but doesn’t ride up, i’m usually size 00 but it was too restrictive due to the material, i tried 0 and it was perfect, comfortable and snug

This is a great blazer for work and off duty. The fit is a bit oversize. I usually wear a size 2 but had to size down to a 0. I’m 5’4 and 110 lbs. The material has a bit of stretch which makes it easy to move around in. It pairs well with the Quentin pants if you want a complete suit look. I absolutely love this blazer and would highly recommend especially for those looking for ‘classic’, professional workwear.

Love this blazer so much. So chic looking and can be dressed up or down. Love the blue check pattern as well. I have too many solid colour blazers so this is a welcome change.

I love the Samuel jackets period. They fit me! They are well-made, quality is great and the style is classic modern. With my recent new one (black/scarab plaid), I now have 5 of them that's how much I love them. My only suggestion is that the sleeves could be a bit shorter as I am only 5 ft, 103 lbs. They are a keeper and timeless.

The plaid pattern makes it very special - I think it looks less formal than the plain color Samuel blazer. I compared the Margaux and Samuel and the Margaux was too long.

Beautiful blazer, love the fabric and the flattering cut. Perfect length and sizing. I ordered my true size in Babaton tops, dresses and pants. I got the navy/forest and it's so stylish and worth it.

Very stylish blazer. It fits a bit tight under the arms however the rest of the jacket is more oversized. I’m usually an XS and I purchased a 0. This blazer is very stylish and I’m looking forward to wearing it.

The size is a bit longer and bigger then I expect, but other then that it’s stunning. Doesn’t wrinkle, which I’m always afraid of, and the colour is lovely. I’m looking to get the dark grey colour of this blazer. Just stunning, very cooling, airy and structure.

Oversized fit, looks great with everything!

For someone who is usually the largest size in blazers with broad shoulders, this one is very comfortable and has stretch in the fabric, making you feel less restricted. Both patterns are fabulous and go with so much. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is because I find the arms slightly short relative to size.
