However, they just are... not quite it. They aren't high-waisted enough -- they sit somewhere between the hips and waist that makes them look a bit off to me. Because the waistband is also elastic all the way around, they easily look like pajamas.
And the hem hits me in kind of an odd place as well (I'm 5'4"), which makes me look sloppy wearing them. They are a bit above my ankle, so again, they make me look sloppy -- it reminds me of when I was a kid and would too tall for a pair of pants I loved, but refused to give them up.
They could be dressed up with a nice blouse, but to be honest, as soon as I tried them on with a nice tee shirt and some mules, they really lost their luster. And I wanted these to wear as easy summer pants that I could throw on and look cute.
