new paperbag short

I love the fabric and the color of the short. I like the length, it is not too long as I am only 5’2”, 115 lbs. I am usually a XS/S, so I choose size 2 for a standard fit and they fit perfectly for me.

Love these shorts, want to purchase a pair in every color

Cute cut, great fabric, color, etc. My main issue was that it looked really frumpy right below the belt. It was not a flattering cut. I'm not sure if its because my waist is small but my legs / thighs are larger. Wish it fit me better!

These are super flattering and very comfortable. I did find that the seams irritated my skin when walking (especially on a hot day), but I still love them. Hope to get another colour! Had to size up to make it fit over my hips

These shorts are SO Adorable I purchased them in light birch, black and grey taupe (the light birch is NOT see thru) I had read they were so I was worried but I also wore with a body suit (havent tried without)

I would say true to size -- I could have sized up and they would be looser like the picture but I prefered true to size (more form fitting and then still looser on the legs)....

I have tried many other paper bag pants and I always look frumpy as I have some curves! but these are a MUST HAVE!

These shorts are so comfortable! The length is perfect. I love the wide belt. I have black ones and the cream coloured ones. They always look great - don’t wrinkle and I love pockets!

It is very loose with wide legs which appears to be too loose on my legs / lower body which I decided to return. But the materials feel great though so gave it four stars, would probably look great with less skinny bodies

Wanted to test out the paperbag short style and while I like the material and cut of the short, this style just didn't suit me. It made me my hips look wider than they actually are and didn't accentuate my waist as I thought they would. More of a boxy fit. Kept them anyway.

These shorts are very good quality and fits well. They are so comfortable. They can be dressed up on down depending on the look you are going for. I am 5'3'' and 115lbs and ordered the size 2. They fit perfectly. Not super tight and have room to move. The fabric is very good quality. I ordered the green and the colour is as on picture.

I totally recommend this product. The shorts are comfortable, come to about mid thigh, and have a great texture to them.

They fit on the slightly larger side but you want that!!! Buy your normal size and enjoy the relaxed fit. They’re the perfect summer short. You can dress them up or down. Love mine.

I went based off of other reviews that these fit tts I am 8 months postpartum and went with the size based off of the size chart and these were way too large. Do yourself a favour and make sure you try them on in store

It’s nice, but not good for me. Coz I have a small belly, this design can’t put the shirts to cover it. I like the material, very light and easy to take care.

Great fit and length. I’m in between sizes 0-2 so I sized up to have a looser fit in the hips and that created an even more bunched ‘paper bag’ style at the cinched waist. The fabric has a great weight to it, completely opaque with a bit of swing, not stiff and doesn’t crease easily. Would purchase again in another colour (or pants version).

These are perfect for hot summer days - the material is light and I love that they are a looser fit. I am usually between a 2 and a 4, or a 25 for bottoms, and the 2 is perfect for me.

Love the pants. The material is great and looks exactly like the picture. I got a size 2 and am usually a size 2 so no concerns with the sizing.

I feel like they're too big, but a size smaller wouldn't pull up over my hips I'm sure. They look great from the front and back, just don't look from the side... They make me feel like patrick star when I look at myself from the side. And when I sit, the front of them balloons up/tenting really badly. But they're very cute and comfy and perfect with a tank top on a hot day.

The quality is fantastic, heavy but breathable!

These shorts are effortlessly feminine, so easy to wear and super comfy with functional pockets. Looks good with or without the belt, and isn’t too paper bag so you still look fitted with a slightly wider leg opening. True to size, I suggest sizing down if you don’t have much of a behind or less curvy!

These are beautiful. The elastic waistband made me so happy, most pants I own are quite tight on the waist but fit perfect elsewhere so I just deal with it.
They look beautiful with a bodysuit or a baggy crop top!

BONUS I wore them driving around in a heatwave and they didn’t even wrinkle under my bum.

The material is pretty thick but still comfortable when wearing. They don't fit exactly like they look on the model but I have a different body type and they still look cute! I'm shorter with big thighs and the shorts are nice and loose which makes them comfortable. Nice easy breezy shorts for the summer time and cute with the belt. I wear size 25 Levi's and ordered a size 4, hopefully that helps some people with their sizing!!

I love the fit and fabric of this shorts. It is so comfortable and perfect for the summer time. You can dress it up or down which makes it super versatile! Although, I think I would’ve been able to get the size 4 instead of 6.

Love this shorts. Bought the colour black last year and love the fit so I bought the colour Aura Blue last week. Colour is gorgeous and you can dress it up with a nice blouse or dress down with a t shirt or tank. Very versatile.

I LOVE these shorts. I was hesitant at first because "paperbag" styles tend to wrinkle very easily and if they come with a belt they just crumple up and never look as good as when you first get it. However, the fabric these are made of is amazing. Thick, but breathable and the belt is sturdy and keeps its shape. Overall SO stylish! I wish they were still on sale because I definitely want it in more colors.

The number sizing at Aritzia I find very weird. Some items I am a 0 (like the Cohen pants and these shorts) but other items I need a size 4 (the Amelie skirt and ecoulement romper), which makes it very hard to shop online, especially if it is final sale. However, the letter sizing I am consistently an XS. For reference I'm 5'3" and 110lb.

Beautiful quality and style. Be aware that they are pull on elastic (no zippers!) so can be tight around hips when pulling up.

The quality and fit of these shorts is incredible! I go between a size 2 and 4 in Wilfred and the size 2 fit great - not too snug. Highly recommend as a more comfortable and fashionable alternative to the jean short.

The shorts fit well and are super comfy! Love the sage green colour.

I got them in two colours, birch and grey. I was originally going to return the grey ones when the birch colour arrived. But the birch ones are see through on the bum which is disappointing. I would size up one size if you want it to fit like model. It does wrinkle if not stored properly.

Bought in both the beige and black colours! The perfect high rise and most comfortable shorts ever. Everything goes well with them, can dress it up or go casual.

I think I have almost every colour except the black and oak. I love the fit - size 0 is perfect for me and they are absolutely so comfortable. It looks like a classy skort although they are shorts. The tie is great and adds that extra touch to the garment. If the black and oak ever go on sale I might get them too.
