luxe lounge jacket Long sweater jacket

The size is great. Except I'm quite short..
I had to get it hemmed.
It's kind of weird to get it hemmed though cause the slits on the side of it.
Wish there was a petite, regular, and tall fit for some of these items.
I'm 5'2 and weigh 114lbs

I have 3 of these coats, a grey one a black one and this taupe one. I love them! They’re super long and can be worn spring and fall , layered with a sweater or not. I always get a size S because I like them oversized.

I got the size small. I am just shy of 5’3 and 145lbs. Jacket hits 2 inches above my ankles so it’s a little longer than the model. I could have gone for the xs but the small is better for layering while still keeping the look slim:) Arms are a little long but I can fold it up once and it looks fine. Only taking off 1 star because it’s not lined (which I knew) but if it was, it would be *mwah* chefs kiss.

This is a long cardigan and loved that but the colour is pink hued instead of light cream. Usually, Aritzia's oak colour is a perfect light cream but not for this item. The pockets are tacked ton the front panels and pulls on the fabric and spoils the look for me. Not a generous fit so if you want a bit more room, size up. If you are shorter, this will be very long so heels are a must.

Feels like good quality, fit is slightly oversized, stay tts for oversized and size down for more tailored look. Would recommend and will buy another colour if it comes back in stock!

I have owned it in black for several months now. Usually a large and wanted to have a nice baggy fit, so I purchased a large. Having an hourglass figure, the length of this coat slims me down. I keep on putting the Turner Taupe color in my basket. I just have a hard time justifying why I need two of the same coat in the same cut. But when you get compliments regularly wearing it, then it becomes mandatory to own several colors. Sure, the price is a bit high and sure, the coat pills as all merino wool does. It is when you wear it the first time and never want to take it off is when it becomes a winning piece to your wardrobe.

This jacket fits big. Go down a size, if you want it to be more fitted. Perfect jacket for the fall and warmer winter months.

I bought this coat a year or two ago in black and it instantly became a go-to item in my closet for everything from travel to work events to weekend lounging. I wore it so much and it wore so well that I just re-bought it in heather grey and I love it. A must-have, elevated basic.

Perfect for dressing up or down. Not too heavy, but still keeps you very warm.

love the loungy-ness yet elevated coatigan. if you often dress casual and want to throw something on to look more put together- this is it! I'm usually XS (sometimes S) in artizia and from reviews I sized down to XXS, which I would also recommend for a more fitted look with enough room to wear a sweater underneath. If you prefer a looser fit/look, then go for your usual size.

I've been eyeing this jacket for a while now and I couldn't pass it up during the sale. It definitely lives up to its name as it is super luxe and will instantly up your lounging game. At a time like this (SIP), where lounge wear has become all-purpose attire, this coat comes in clutch by not only keeping me cozy and warm inside, but it can easily be worn outdoors as well. I just know this will become a go-to staple for fall/winter seasons to come.

Fit is TTS, and the material has a great amount of weight for a lounge coat. If you want to layer it with a hoodie, size up.

Absolutely wonderful. I waited for a Black Friday deal, and I saved $50 which was a bonus. I would have spent full price because it is a beautiful sweater coat. I decided to spend money on this opposed to a coat because i feel I would use it more in comparison to a coat. It’s just that ideal transitional piece which Canadian weather requires. Amazing quality, soft and coat like but like and luxe. Highly recommend!!!!

This is a really nice quality felted wool coat. I was hoping it would be a good middle ground between a coat and a cardigan but it's definitely more of a fall coat - might be a little weird to wear indoors as an added layer. I love the taupe colour and the arms are roomy enough to put a sweater underneath. It's a tad long on my 5'2" frame (but that's nothing unusual for me!). I definitely think it's worth it and it's an easy stylish outer layer in the fall!

Have this in two colors now and it’s perfect to dress up or down. Tons of storage in pockets. Belt it or Unbelt it!

Soft, easy, oversize, stylish bathrobe gone fab. I tried every colour in this as well as both M and L. The staff kept insisting that even the M looked to large on me, but this coat is meant to have drape and movement. The M slightly pulled across my derrier area and did not have the length of the L. I liked how the cream colour looked best. Especially with an all black figure conscious underlayer. It feels really good to wear this, even over a tank bodysuit....the wool is not itchy. I think you should go with your regular size...it's not meant to be form fitting. The sleeves are long and again it's the vibe. I'm 5'6" and 140 take an M or L in most tops and mostly an L in jackets because of my wide shoulders. Shorter women might feel swallowed in their true size. I saw someone returning this in the taupe and they thought it was too loose and my honest opnion was to size up and rock it.

Love the fit! It’s slightly oversized so has that casual look to it. Full length, which I find has been hard to find. I’ve definitely gotten my wear out of it!

This is a great coat. The fit is a bit bigger than normal but gives it a nice cozy feel. This is a nice sophisticated coat.

Super soft and comfortable jacket with great versatility! Can be easily dressed up or worn casually.
I recommend sizing down. I'm typically a medium/large in clothing depending on the fit. I purchased this in a medium and still gives an oversized look. Definitely roomy enough for some layers.
I'm 5'7 and this hits a little lower than mid-calf for me.

The size is a bit large for a small I purchased. Overall, I love the style and look!

I was on the fence between ordering an XS or XXS and read the reviews which recommended the XS. I'm 5'5 11lbs and the XS was HUGE. I was able to exchange for the XXS and it is still oversized but now it looks intentional, not sloppy and massive.
Throw it over jeans and a tee and you'll look pulled together (magic). It's unlined so it's not super warm but is big enough to layer under so will be good for most of fall/spring. I got the Heather Bone which I think was the most "high end" looking color for this coat (it's a great neutral although it can get dirty since it's quite light.. maybe should have gotten the Taupe for that reason). It's pretty expensive for a luxe wool bathrobe.. honestly, I'm not sure it's worth the price but I have been looking for something like this for a while and will definitely get a lot of wear out of it.

Boiled wool Fabric is a favourite of mine. It is very warm on chilly days inside and outside. The thickness of the fabric helps protect against wind outside. I chose xl so I can wear over light sweater or shirt. Length is long on me at 5ft3in and covers my legs. I can add a belt for outside weather. Good for tall women also. I spot clean then dry clean once a year.

Definitely an oversized fit. There are no buttons or fastenings so that adds to the oversized feeling. If you’re not into that then I would suggest going down a size. Such a great jacket. So comfy. Can dress up an outfit but is also not too dressy for a casual outfit. Perfect fall jacket.

The material is very cheap. I brought it and wore it twice and it started peeling off already. Im very disappointed!

If you are looking for a jacket which can be worn casually or dressed up this is a good choice. It fits true to size and not too bulky.

This is by far one of my best coats, I own couple of different colours and this peace can be paired with absolutely anything. I get asked all the time where I got it from :)

adore the colour! and so cozy. love how this piece is a hybrid between a cardigan and a jacket. As a result it is very comfortable.

I have three of these jackets from various years (and also of slightly different fabric content). I have this in the camel color (#65407) which is the boiled virgin wool blend, and in bristle (#69409) in the merino wool version, but last year's cut. This year, I opted for this in heather bone (which I exchanged from the heather tan). Still love it, but marginally less so than the other versions. Here's why:

The version I have in bristle from last year is a closer cut than this year's, which is more oversized than before. I'm 5'2, 115 lbs, 32D and a 26 inch waist, and I have this in XXS in all three jackets. Both the camel (which is still available as of the time of this review) and the bristle (n/a) fit perfectly -- I'm not swimming in them and the cut is closer to the body, so it adds polish to all of my outfits.

This cut, however, is wider. The armpits are bigger. The arms themselves are wider (but not longer). It's probably only half a size larger than last year's cut, but on someone shaped like me, it feels noticeably different. If, however, you love oversized, cozy cardis that will see you through three of four Canadian seasons, this is your best friend.

All this said, it's super soft, not itchy at all, and a stunning ivory. I can throw this on over a slip dress or a pair of jeans, and feel equally elegant.

Absolutely love this sweater Jacket! I was looking for something in between a long sweater and a jacket that you can wear to compliment your outfit but not part of the outfit if you want to take it off. Perfect for fall layering and goes with Jeans and runners a sweater dress or even with your office outfit. LOVE!!!! (I'm 5'4" 125lbs bought XS)

I ordered a small and it’s very soft and just oversized enough. Can be dressed up or dressed down for sure! Love it.
