I found this dress to sit a bit shapeless on my body. My body type is more slender so I need cuts to give me more shape. Also found the fabric to be a bit too shiny for my liking, making it look like cheaper quality.

It’s a perfect dress for casual and formal. Im 5’4 and 104 lb.

Larger than expected, had to order a size down. (115, 5”3). Perfect dress!!

I got this dress in the Denude colour. The fabric, style, and colour is just stunning. It fit me perfectly- not figure hugging but still accentuates your curves. The only thing that was an issue for me was the closure at the top. I couldn't seem to get the two sides that tie together to lay flat. Overall though, this dress is amazing. I am usually an XS in Babaton tops and a size 2 in bottoms, and the XS in dress fit perfectly.

Pretty slip dress that is a good staple for weddings. I’m 5’5” and 115 lb, 32B and ordered the XS and S to compare sizes. I ended up going with the S since I didn’t want it to be super form fitting. The XS fit me better in the chest, though, the S is just the tiniest bit lose in that area. Thankfully the strings to the halter top part help with the fit.

This dress is beautiful. I bought it in the green, and it is silky and soft. BUT for the average gal, it is not a midi length. I am 5 ft 6 inches, and the bottom rests at my ankle. Also, it fits larger than other Babaton Dresses. I usually am a XS/S, and bought the double XS and it is quite a loose fitting. Definitely worth the purchase but size down!

I had been eyeing this dress in the light green colour for a long time and was so happy to see it back in stock recently that I had to snatch it. I read reviews and watched Youtube videos and decided that XS was likely my best fit (5'4, 120 lb, 26 inch waist). After I completed my order, to my horror, I accidentally picked 2XS and the XS was already sold out! I was prepared to return the dress after receiving it and settle with another colour; however, I tried on the dress and it actually fit perfectly! The dress isn't too loose and not too tight. It shows my body shape well and looks super elegant. The colour is gorgeous too and perfect for the summer wedding I bought it for. I'm so glad how it worked out! I think if I got the XS it would've been fine as well but I like the way the 2XS shows my hips.

I bought this during clientele to wear to a wedding in 2022 because I loved the look and was scared it wouldn’t return in time next spring. I can’t wait to wear it! From trying it on, there’s a bit of static, as to be expected from a satin dress, but it wasn’t too bad at all. I read this runs large, and it definitely does. I bought my usual size (S, measurements 34-26-38.5, 118 lbs, 5”6’), and it’s a bit loose, but I love how it skims without clinging because the synthetic fabric has no give. I probably could have squeezed into an XS, but it wouldn’t have really fit properly and I wouldn't have been able to sit in it. The S is not so loose that it looks oversized or sloppy. I much prefer this fit to the only slip dress (I find the hip is cut too narrow on that style for me). I like the finish of the fabric on this one better, too. It’s a true midi dress on me, hitting just around the calf.

This dress fits perfectly! Hits right at the right length ans has adjustable tie in the back giving you the perfect fit.

I was hesitant to buy this at first since I struggle to find a dress that will fit over my hips, but this dress falls so perfectly. I think it’s because it runs slightly big - this is the first thing I’ve ordered from aritzia that actually fits me & isn’t too small. The color is stunning, I’m planning to wear it to a wedding coming up soon & I think it will be perfect for an event like that!

The fabric quality is spectacular but does wrinkle very easily (as expected) it is super flattering but runs a little large in my opinion. Wore it to a wedding and got so many compliments!

Soft green color is gorgeous, bought it for a summer event and it was just perfect! The fabric is beautiful, after pressing it out, it barely wrinkled even with sitting. I love my lato and Aritzia!!

It’s a pretty dress but I felt like the hemming on the dress was a little off? Not sure if it was just me. I am in between sizes and sized down to 2XS for reference I’m 5’2 and about 118 pounds.

I purchased this in black size Medium and I love the fit. It is very flattering. I can’t wait to wear it.

This is a beautiful dress and I really wanted it to work for me but, alas, the fit wasn't right and it must go back. I'm 5'4 , 115lbs but I'm smaller on top than bottom. And while the dress did fit, it wasn't flattering for me through the hip area. Otherwise it would be everything I wanted in a dress. Beautiful feeling silk, great silhouette, classic design and the fawn pink color is gorgeous.

I tried both a small and a medium and there was always some sort of tail/ extra fabric around my butt. I can see how this dress could be gorgeous but on my 5’4” 125 pound frame it just looked like I was an old lady

I ordered an XS and a S in the Silver Sage Green. The color was a little lighter than the picture but still just as pretty. This dress is not for any short curvy girl. I am fairly skinny but have curved hips and a large behind; this dress made me look like a gigantic pear, which I am not. I couldn't believe it looking in the mirror, it was tight around the hip/thigh area and then started coming in towards the calf. It is definitely tapered starting at the hip, so unless you have no hips and are pretty straight up and down as well as tall, do not order this dress. I'm not sure what the other reviews were going on about saying that this is for curvy girls because this is definitely not. I can't stressed enough how shocked I was looking in the mirror, and it was horrifying and disappointing.

Nice dress overall was clingy in certain areas, i returned it because it was for a bridesmaids dress and I didn't feel like it was high enough quality.

Used this as my wedding dress (small covid wedding) and could not love it more. Material, colour, fit - it is actual perfection.

the pistachio green was much lighter in person -- too light to wear as a wedding guest after testing in photos. the cut was a little large. not sure what the silhouette was supposed to be, but it was cute!!!

I love the way this dress looks and feels! I got it in black and it isn't sheer at all. The material is pretty thick and hid sweat at a summer wedding I wore it to. I'm usually a size 8 or 10 depending on the brand, so I ordered both the Medium and Large and kept the Large. Medium fit well, but I liked how flowy the Large was.

I wear a cup 34 DD, and it is very easy to wear comfortably a bra underneath if needed. I’m also curvy, and the medium fits perfectly! That’s something I was worried about, and I was pleasantly surprised!

I'm 5'7'' and usually wear a size 8-10 in jeans and I got the medium. It fits perfect! I was worried because I have a smaller waist and curvy hips but this dress is cut perfectly if you're curvy. The medium still has some room to swish around, and it falls really beautifully.

Overall its a beautiful dress. The only complaint I would have is the sheerness and how static the fabric is. In order for me to feel comfortable wearing it I have to wear a slip underneath, otherwise I feel naked! Keep in mind I'm a 32 C, so it may feel different on someone who is flat chested.

the material is not silky, it is like satin, easy to wrinkle.

Its such a beautiful dress only issue is that there is a weird gap on my back of the dress that makes it look a little awkward but a good belt or layer could fix no problem! Im always a small in all Aritzia dresses and it fit true to size!

I have a prominent pear shape (tops size 0, bottoms size 6), so I was a little nervous ordering an XS based on the garment size guide, but I'm happy to report that it's roomier in the hips and thighs than the size guide lets on. The ties at the collar allow you to adjust the fit up top. It drapes beautifully and hugs in all the right places. It's rare that I'm able to order a dress without needing alterations, so this one is definitely a keeper!

I purchased the Dawn Pink version in XXS. For reference, I'm 98 lbs, 5'2 and XXS is my usual size at Aritzia. The fabric is a soft and a gorgeous shade: not too bright, but not dull like a lot of Aritzia's dyes tend to be. The dress hits me just below the calves for an elegant length. It looks great with heels. For someone as short as me, you can still wear it with sneakers as well. My only complaint is that the key hole in the back gapes a little. It's a small price to pay for an adjustable neckline. Love this dress. I would buy it again if it were offered in a cherry red or maroon shade.

Bought the dress in Denude and it is not see through. The color is great on all skin tones. I’m 158 cm tall and size 2xs hits around mid calf. Straps can be adjusted as well! Really flattering fit on someone with wider hips.

I ordered a small in the starboard colour. I'm 5'1, 34c, 27 waist and 38 hips, slightly wide-boned. I was contemplating whether or not I should get this dress because the models look so beautiful and tall and it seemed to be the kind of dress that's only flattering on that body type. I am happy to say I think this dress would be flattering on most people. It's not a boxy cut, it follows your contours and then flares a little at the bottom for some movement. I adjusted it so the neckline was JUST below my neck, and it was the same length as the model wearing the pistachio colour (which was a pleasant surprise because I'm much shorter than her). It was lightweight and completely opaque, but the material did feel a little plasticky. The navy colour is gorgeous and looks exactly like in the picture. It was a little big in the bust, so I'm thinking I should try the xs. Be careful with this material guys because it melts easily from heat and alcohol.

Amazing dress that fits you to the tee. I have the pistachio green and the colour is incredible and breathtaking. I'm 5'1", 95-100lbs, and the xxs fits perfectly.

I bought this dress last minute for an outdoor wedding during COVID and I got soo many compliments! It was comfortable and so elegant but not too fancy. The dress draped incredibly well and wasn't too long. I loved how it fit and how sleek the dress looked. The only con was that the ties in the back only stayed if double knotted.

I got this in a size 4 I'm obsessed with this pistachio, matcha green color lately it just compliments every skin tone. I received a lot of compliments when I wore this. So elegant and chic.

How I wish this dress fit me! The golden pistachio silk is GORG. Can't find anywhere else with a comparable color. Unfortunately the halter neck just lay real weird on me and the XXS was still too big on me. I'm short but not rail thin (hourglass shape) with a smaller chest, and it just wasn't flattering. I can see this being stunning on someone taller. Hopefully another dress comes out in this color and material that has a cut more suitable for me!

I purchased this dress in the navy blue color in a 00, which is my usual size for Babaton. I am glad I did because if I had sized up it would definitely be too loose/not accentuate my curves. I have very fair skin and black hair and the navy compliments my coloring really well, and the fabric has a beautiful sheen to it. My one thing is be careful with the straps in the back as they sometimes come out of the fabric and it is a struggle to put them back in! Kind of hard to explain until you actually wear it. For reference I am 24W, 5'6, and a 32D.

This is a 11/10. Was worried that it would look washed out (saw it in some pictures before purchasing), but it truly looks different depending on the light: sometimes more golden with a touch of sage, or a true shimmering pistachio or like a light green-gold. The neckline is perfect for summer, the fit is very flattering and the fabric has the perfect amount of weight to it without making it uncomfortable.

Purchased size small, and fits like a dream. Can't wait to wear out

This dress is sleek and sexy! The blue color and satin material is very beautiful. The reason why I am giving this a four and not five star is because it is a little big. I wish it was slightly more fitted around the waste as it is a little baggy

The colour is a bit brighter than the picture but so gorgeous.

I am so glad that my style advisor convinced me to get this dress because I am in love! The green colour is beautiful in person and the fabric feels so nice on! I am always a bit hesitant of satin dresses because I am a bit curvier, but this one is really flattering! I usually wear a size 6-8 and got a M in this and it fits great!
