hush knit sweetheart sweater

I purchased this for my daughter. She is quite happy with the style and material, though it be ever so slightly large for her.

This is such a beautiful sweater. Easy to dress up or down and very flattering. Love it with a high waisted skirt.

cons: i bought a balconette bra with very wideset straps specifically for this top. i read that they are the ideal bra for boatneck and other wide necklines. however, this top is still too... necky (or lack thereof). not only is it a deep neckline, but it's also very wide. my bra straps peek out no matter what i do (so long as they exist). i'm a 34G UK, so everything relating to bras is more of a big deal to me. i really dislike straplesses and might opt for taping next time. it makes this top more of a hassle, and not very practical. bummer, but still keeping. also, its lower cut than id like, but that seems to be aritzia's style right now. either crew. turtleneck, or inappropriate for work. fingers crossed for some reasonable scoops next season

pros: its cute. its thick enough but not heavy. it's form fitting! this is great for folks with curves -- we need to define our waist or else we look very frumpy. it doesn't have a high neckline (larger busts are balanced out a lot when theres a scoop or sweetheart neckline). its not itchy. it comes in a color that works well with light summer color schemes (aritzia is excellent when providing for a lot of different categories of personal color analysis). you also dont need to worry much about accessorizing to dress it up. you can, but the texture and fit do a lot.
