I was worried about how this dress would fit based on some of the comments but I am so happy with it! I do see why some say it is made for taller people, i'm 5'9 and it fits perfectly. Just the right length and a gorgeous color!

This dress fits me perfectly, hits all the right notes. Perfect for a night out, or a dinner party. Simple and easy to pair with any shoes or accessories.

I really wanted to love this dress. I am not sure if the sizing changed from last year but the top portion of the dress is huge. The shoulders are okay and the bust is fine but right beneath the bust till the waist, it is too loose and looks off and takes away from your shape. You can even see it on the model. The fit last year looked more flattering, so I am not sure what happened. I bought a 2 and a 4 to see if there was a difference and it was the same for all. Can't size down even further because the waist would be too tight.

I am usually a M or Large in tops and I bought a size 10 and it was perfect. I wear an A cup and I can’t imagine someone with boobs bigger than a B fitting in this. I am 5’8 and 165lb and it is the perfect length, not to short like usual mini dresses fit me.

I am between a size 4 and 6 and a 6 was perfect for me. It was not too tight and feel very beautiful. I was worried about the slit and how high it went, but it is the perfect length and I was able to dance super comfortably!

Loved the fabric and the style. The slit was way too high, but easily fixed by a tailor.

I ordered this dress in the Sage Green color and I absolutely love the way that it looks on. Unfortunately, I washed it according to the tag and it came out of the washer with snags everywhere! Super bummed. Just be careful when you wash this dress, I would either hand wash or put it in a garment bag before throwing it in the washer. I also noticed that the dress in store had a huge snag on it which is why I ended up ordering online so it might just be the fabric. Overall, really lovely dress but just be careful when it comes to the care.

Perfect fabric for any time of the year. Light and airy for summer, and a rich texture for pairing with tights for the winter. Very comfortable and one of my favorite dresses from Aritzia!

Perfect length and fit.

This dress is cute but i recommend to size down for a more tighter fit. I got my usual size and I feel like if I sized down I wouldve gotten a more flattering fit. I also think the dress is designed for taller people and the torso is long but I might get it altered to fit better. However I am pretty short. Otherwise it is soo cute.

very classic dress, purchased the bone white; super pretty off white colour, I'm 5'2, 120lbs and 32DD, I think this dress may be designed for taller people, the cut out in the back was slightly squished due to my torso being short lol. love the slit detail! cute twist on a classic cut. Didn't fit as expected, but still a good purchase

Super lightweight and flattering! Only issue is the zipper bunches at the back.

I love the cut of this dress. The bottom of the zipper weirdly sticks out. But since the dress fits really well otherwise, I am willing to overlook the zipper problem. I have the longer version of the Hampton dress as well. But when I saw the blue mini dress, I knew I had to get it. The boyfriend loves this dress too. This is a first since he never commented on other dresses of mine. Very happy with my purchase!

I love this dress! It shipped in less than 2 days with free standard shipping, and fits perfectly. It can be dressed up or dress down and worn to many different events, The fabric is soft and professional-looking. I only remove a star, because according to the size chart I was an 8… I have ever bought larger than a 2 in my life as I am 5’2 and 120lbs. I decided to take my chances and ordered a 2, and it fits perfectly!

I’m quite tall so it fits a little off, still deciding if I’ll keep it. Quality is good.

I worn the dress one time. It fits nice for my body type but it was very see through. Also in several places the thread was pulled. I kept looking down and a new place would have a thread pull.

I got a 0 bc I’m usually a 0 but I’ve gained some weight and my butt and boobs are bigger. So I exchanged for a 2. Fits super fast well. The pointy butt tail from the zipper was less noticeable when I sized up.

Classic dress, go it in white because I already have black slit skirts.

I just wore this dress downtown. It’s so cute and the material is amazing. I have to take it in near the top because I want it to fit tighter around my chest and neck, but other than that it’s perfect. I recommended this to anyone who’s on the fence! Do it!

The dress was really cute but the torso area was a little large for me and billowed out the sides in a kinda unflattering way. It might be because my chest is definitely on the smaller side (I'm a shallow 32C) but a larger bust would probably be able to fill it out better to avoid that issue. The waist/hip area was perfect and the length was great. I'm 5'4" and ~113lbs for reference.

I have and LOVE the long version of this dress so I got the mini in Bone! The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the skirt’s zipper buckles into a lumpy S shape when you put it on. This is because the zipper is too long and the skirt fabric is not heavy enough to flatten over the curve of the lower back to bum area!! This was not an issue with the long version—that zipper was proportionate to the length and weight of skirt fabric so the bum area is smooth. A careless oversight on Aritzia’s part—a long zipper on a slinky, lightweight mini skirt? What were you guys thinking???

So if you work out and have curves/muscles like me: beware! This may not sit flat on you even tho it looks flat on a hanger. A bumpy and wrinkled mini skirt is not a cute look!

Note: This dress is not tight on me so overt stretching of the fabric is not the issue. Thankfully I know how to sew garments so will likely have to shorten the zipper and tighten the darts in the back so that it all lays flat.

This is lowkey everything I've ever wanted in a dress. The shape is so flattering—the slit and back cutouts make an otherwise more conservative cut youthful. The fabric bunches out a little at the back of the waist, but it's very minor. I want to buy this in all the colours but alas, I am poor.

I love this dress and the blue colour is STUNNING. Unfortunately, it is a bit tight around my chest/ribs which surprised me because I have the full-length version in a 4 and that fits perfectly. Also, the dress sits weird on my butt because the zipper waves and causes bumps. I gave the full-length 5 stars so I'm sad this one wasn't the same.

As always, the quality is great. The waist is a little tighter than I thought and the sides flip out kinda weird because of the back elastic. But the colour is so nice, the top cut and fit is everything I wanted and the length is not too short.

I LOVE this dress! ordered it originally in a size 2 online and it fit me perfectly (I'm 5'3, 24/25 waist) but the chest part was quite tight, I'm a 32DDD for reference. It buttoned up at the back but could definitely feel it pulling whenever I moved. I switched up to the size 4 and it fit me perfectly.
The length is great, goes mid-thigh, the slit isn't too high, it's quite flattering overall. the only thing to note is if you're heavier chested, there's no stretch with the dress itself so you'll probably have to go a size up from your usual size.

The bottom half of the dress fit well on my petite frame, but the top half was SO big. I even tried wearing a bigger sized bra to help "fill" in the top half, but it still looked ill fitting. Not too sure what went wrong here. Maybe I would've had better luck if I sized down.

It's a beautiful mini dress. Love the slit and open back. I can see that depending on how long your torso is the bodice of the dress may drape differently, as if there's too much fabric on the sides. I share this dress with my mom as we're the same size and on me it fits perfect but on my mom, who has a shorter torso, it looks like there's a bit of excess fabric. I bought it in the snakeskin print and bone colour. The bone colour is surprisingly not see through but for the price that I'm paying for the dress, I wish it was lined.

The dress is a thinner material than I had hoped, but otherwise super cute and looks just like the picture. I have the one in nude and it's not see-through at all! The fit in the back is a little strange, as there are some bumps along the waist line and the end of the zipper creates a bump at the seam too.

I am 5'7, 130lbs. Usually size 4, ordered size 4. This dress is a beautiful color and nice lightweight material. It is not too short but the slit does go quite high.

I had to size down because I have a smaller torso so the back fabric stuck out a bit. So if you’re shorter and have a smaller toro I recommend sizing down
