Runs large. Had to get 4 altered for a better fit in the chest - no chest.

Unfortunately the dress was see-through and could not be worn. Would stay away from light colours in this dress.

This dress drapes so beautifully and looks so elegant. I love the slit too, gives it a bit of a flirty feel. Would buy this in other colours too.

I’m usually a size 12-14 so i got 14 just to be safe and it barely fit :( was really looking forward to this dress to arrive. I can’t return it. Waste of money :(

Way too sheer. Could never wear this dress due to how see through it is.
Also it’s incredibly long.

Fabric was nice but fit was much larger than usual sizing. Button hook broke before wearing

Fits true to size, a beautiful dress that’s classic and elegant! So many compliments upon wearing it.

The size & the color are difference

I love the look of the dress. It fits well, but it is SO sheer. I'm not sure how anyone could wear this dress without your entire lower half showing. It's not a dress you can wear a slip with either, since the slit in the front comes up so high. I'm thinking maybe some sort of nude shape wear / spanx could potentially work? Definitely a must know before buying!

The silhoutte of the dress is cute but I should have sized down. The color does not match the photo. The actual color is more of a bright light pink. Also it's not lined so it's extremely see through. Shapewear, nude underwear, you name it, all shows through the dress. Final sale so... can't even return.

Honestly I was skeptical at first about this dress, I had seen it last year but I felt like the cut and the back was a little too much, but this year when it went in sale, I bought it and honestly I wanna get another Color. It fits so nice, it make you feel so good in ur body. I love it

I love this dress. It’s classic and elegant but the slit is high which keeps the look youthful and fun. It’s a very flattering cut. I love the pink. It’s more pink than it looks online and this is a good thing. I’m pale so I need more depth in pastels.

Nice dress, i can see how it would fit nicely on a taller person but at under 5'3 it needs significant tailoring to fit as intended. Also, bought it before it went on sale and was not granted a price adjustment, exchange, or refund. Meh

A little disappointed in fabric was it’s really sheer. Will have to be conscious on what color undergarments you’re wearing

The top is lined, the skirt part is not. And I am finding it extremely hard to find a slip or bodysuit that will work underneath it. I have a darker skin tone one and you can even see that. I have it in blush and it was much more pink than the photo. I do not recommend

Great fabric, looks amazing on some people. For me the top was too loose, bottom and waist fit ok.

Item is see through and very different than the colour online. Unable to return it due to final sale. Very disappointed. Not sure what to do with it cause it is see through.

Very flattering and forgiving silhouette and a little sexy with the back and slit. Can wear it dressed up or down. The colour is a bright coral but not too loud. Fabric is a good quality. Ordered an 8 but had to size down to a 6. For reference, 5’3 and 130 lbs.

I ordered the blush pink colour. This dress is a gorgeous cut, style and fits so well. It is such a shame that the bottom half is totally see through. Not exactly sure what companies are thinking by designing this way. Such a shame!

Lovely dress however it is unlined so if you get a lighter color, I got the blush pink, it is almost entirely see-through in natural light. You will need a slip as even nude underwear is visible.

Beautiful date night dress! I got mine in blush pink! Slightly see through if you have darker skin like myself. However I can manage with a nice Jean jacket over it and a slip for the bottom half. Should have gotten a darker colour

Beautiful dress! I'm short and more curvy in my bottom half. Fits beautiful and hangs beautifully, hug all my curves. Smaller size for sexy and bigger size for a looser fit. Bought this in different colors

It is really hard for me to find long dresses that aren't too long when I'm only 154cm. This one fits like a dream!

I really like this dress and it fits well. However there are two main flaws. The slit is too high (maybe this is just a me problem, as I am 5'10") and the back does not allow for a bra to be hidden. I would never go without a bra in this dress because the material is quite thin and you'd be able to see the outline of everything. However, the dusty blue is gorgeous, the length is perfect, and I received many compliments as it is very flattering.

This dress drapes beautifully and accentuates my curves. Fabric is breezy and the slit makes it even more adorable.

Love this dress, super flattering! The only issue I had with it is the slit goes up super high so I wouldn’t recommend it on windy days if you don’t want to flash anyone! Over all though it’s definitely worth the buy!

This was very cute and even though I am curvier than the models pictured the dress still looked just as nice on me.

I bought this dress for a wedding last minute and hoped this would work. I'm so obsessed with this dress. This dress is so flattering on a curvy shape and the fit was perfect. I usually wear a medium so I bought a size 10.

This is a beautiful and well tailored dress, however, it did not suit my built. I'm athletic and it was tailored in all the wrong spots. I would recommend this beautiful, versatile dress to someone who is slender, with not a lot of curves.

I ordered a size 8 and had issues doing the back even though my chest size is 34C.

Love this dress and will be buying it in other colors. Comfy, classy, and the slit adds a little sass. I am 5’7” and 118#. I wear 24-25 in jeans and have a 32-34 Bust. I originally ordered a size 2 which looked fine on but wasn’t the perfect fit. I called customer service to exchange sizes and they were so nice. They sent me the dress in 0 and 00 for me to try on and keep the size that fit the best. I chose to keep the size 0. The waist seem has a little ability to stretch so I still have room to eat lol

I ordered this dress and while trying it on, noticed that the sleeves were asymmetrical. It was just a bad sewing job--one of the sleeves was sewed on lower than the other. So I returned it and got another one, but this one too, had the same manufacturing issue as the first. I'm wondering if all of them are like that. For Aritzia's normal standards, disappointed.

Everything was great - decided to return because the colour was darker than expected. Will hold out until it comes back in the brighter blue colour.

I’m 5’1 size 0 and XS in aritzia clothing so it’s longer on me than the models but it is very sliming and true to its size. I purchased 2 dress and I am considering a 3rd. I just love the fit and elegance of the dress and I highly recommend.

A dress that can be dressed up or down for any occasion. The cut out on the back makes it look so chic. The slit is a perfect length

*I'm a size 14 and bought a 14 FYI. The material is thinner than I expected, but it still falls nicely. I put it on and was very impressed that it disguised my tummy. I wish Aritzia would make more things in bigger sizes.

It's fine. I liked it, but being short waisted it didn't fit well, and the slit wasn't very noticeable, so I ended up looking pretty dowdy.

This dress fits very well on many body types. The fabric is wonderful. I am petite but have muscular arms, and it fits my arms. I am also flat chested and this is the one con, the location of the darts are quite low, so it looks a bit off when there is nothing to fill it in. But it is baggy enough and the dark colour hides this for the most part. I’m 157cm and the size 2 reaches my ankles.

Very flattering on, perfect for any occasion

I bought this dress for some December weddings and it's perfect! Very similar to the reformation gavin dress but much higher quality, much better price point, and still sustainable! I bought it in the truffle color and I would describe it as a cherry chocolate/wine. Definitely leans toward brown which I love. I bought this in both a 4 and a 6 after reading some reviews to size down, but my regular size of a 6 fit best. It does run slightly large but I would describe it as a very flattering, looser fit. The size 4 *technically* fit, but it was very tight and caused some fabric rippling. I'm very excited to wear this dress.

I really loved this dress, but it didn't fit me! I am usually a size 2 in the Conan pants and fit XS for sleeveless tops, S for long-sleeve tops. Unfortunately, a size 2 in this dress was too loose for me. I went down to a size 0, but it was also too loose in the chest area! The waist fit fine, the shoulders and arms were fine, but the lines on the side of the chest were too low for me and too big, so there was a lot of extra cloth just bubbling on the side, which was not flattering. For reference, I wear 32B. I tried the truffle color, and while it looks like a deep red online, it's actually a brown red in certain lights. Actually looked brown to me when I put it on!

Love this dress!! I bought a size 4 as many other reviews listed that this dress ran a bit small. The 4 fit but felt very tight, so I ended up exchanging this for a size 6. So much more comfortable
