sits slightly below the waist--definitely not a high waisted skirt. Got lots of compliments on it and it's versatile with knee high boots or pumps. I am usually a 2-4 in Aritzia bottoms but for this one to not be tight on my hips, I had to size up to a 4.
The fit is so flattering and the colour is beautiful. The double layer of fabric makes it sit smoothly even over lumps and bumps. I thought it might be hard to find a top that works with it, but really everything does. I’m usually a size 4 and was more comfortable in a size 6. I’m 5,2” and it’s a perfect longer length. It’s a wardrobe winner for sure!
I love the skirt so much, it's also double lined so it doesn't look cheap at all. The only downside is that the strings untie very easily and the slit will slide to the front when you walk but i guess it's inevitable. Otherwise I recommend!
This skirt is a huge step above the midi slip skirt. Firstly, it is lined and the fabric has lovely weight to it. Secondly, the silhouette is much more flattering. Side tie is perfection. Please make this in more colours!
It's very smooth on the skin which is great in terms of feel. I usually wear an 8 at Aritzia/Wilfred and this fits super well on me. Definitely going to buy more in other colours :)
