I’m a larger chested woman so I knew sizing up would have to happen if I wanted to jump on the vest bandwagon. I’m usually a M/L depending on fit for tops so I thought an 8 would suffice but my chest was almost popping out (it could’ve worked if I felt comfortable about it) so I sized up to a 10 which was the perfect amount of space in the belly area and perfect in the chest! They don’t get squished and the vest fits like a glove. Perfect with jeans or dress pants whether it be low rise or high rise as it fits down to my belly button. I’m a 34DD for reference!
Hits right at waist and the fit is more rectangular than cinched. A little shorter than usual. The edge with the buttonholes doesn't lie completely flat, but it isn't super noticeable and might be ironed down.
If you have a bigger chest, size up 2 sizes. I’m usually a size 6 in tops, 6 or 8 in blazers but had to go up to a size 10 for the top button to not look tight. Overall happy with the look but may get it slightly tailored. For reference I’m a 34DD.
I like the fit of this every where except the bust area. Not only is it a bit tight there, it also exposes too much cleavage. Maybe it might work for someone with tiny boobs. But definitely not for girls with large bust except sizing up. But then again, sizing up will expose even more cleavage. If you’re comfortable exposing cleavage, then this vest will work perfectly for you. By the way, very nice and high quality fabric.
I like the material and look of it. Unfortunately, I found the thread around the button holes to be a bit messy and it doesn't completely flat on the back of my shoulders (the area just below the neck) when I stand up straight. Could much better if these two things were fixed.
I bought this vest on sale so I was worried about the sizing since it would have been final sale. I got a size 2 which is my usual size but I found the vest was a bit too loose. If you have A-C cups, I would size down so there's not an awkward gap at the top.
