Great reasonably priced (not cheap coz the quality is 👍🏼) goose down jacket. Wish there's a slit in the back so I don't have to keep unzipping the jacket everytime I sit down but the good outweighs the bad

This is a great investment for the winter! I get cold very easily and I’ve found that I could stay outside for long periods of time with this coat! Go buy it sis!

I've never owned an Aritzia parka before and wow I wish I would've bought one sooner. Living in one of Canada's coldest cities, it's a must! I've owned my Bancroft Parka for 3 years now and it has held up quite well other than some slight fading. It'll definitely keep you warm in -30 weather however there are a few things to note. There isn't much stretch at the bottom so bending down or sitting can feel quite restrictive. Also the hood is massive so if you ever want to wear your hood up, you can hardly see out of it, but at least your face will be warm. Also one big pet peeve is not being able to put my hands in the front pockets comfortably. The angle of the pockets make it too awkward. Otherwise it's a good parka.

I got the dark olive colour and it’s so beautiful. I’m tall so the length is perfect.

I saw it on Tiktok,a girl showing puff coat, look cute, she said that coat run big. I go to the website see this parka look so nice. But the parka run small.

I’m tiny so finding things that fit is super hard. When I saw XXS I hoped this would work, and it does!! Fits like a glove. So warm n cozy! Also thoughtfully designed with magnets, insulated pockets and fuzz to protect your face when the zipper is all the way up. Best of all, the faux fur is buttery soft and no animals were harmed in the making of my coat. YAY!

I was debating between this and a Goose jacket and I definitely do not regret it!! Especially living in such a cold part of Canada’s capital it’s worth the investment

I bought a parka that was a S because my last parka I bought was a similar parka in S a few years ago. They fit totally different and the sleeves are much longer on this one and I’m very unhappy. But it was 50% off so I can’t return it. And I would have loved to have tried it on before buying it but I live in ontario and we are always in lockdown so it wasn’t possible.

It’s very warm, but not comfy at all. The hood is massive so you can’t even use it unless you don’t want to see. The bottom of the coat has zero stretch so you have to unzip it to sit down. Super annoying. I like my 8 year old tna parka better .. so I wear that instead

Very warm and cute! I had a TNA Blackcomb Jacket for years and decided it was time for an upgrade so I purchased this in a Small. Happy with the quality. Only notes are that zipper went from metal to plastic, it doesn’t have pockets to put your hands in but it has longer sleeves and it fits its slightly smaller than my old one. The hood is large

This is the warmest winter coat I’ve ever owned. The best part is the faux fur hood. If I keep it down and zip up the coat all the way it’s even better than the warmest scarf! I just wish they had a size in between small and medium. The small was a bit too snug around the hips and the medium is puffy around the chest (I have a small chest) and buckles inward a bit at the waist because it’s slightly on the large size. Went with the medium. Overall, beautiful and warm and would recommend.

It's so warm, almost to warm at time. But I'm not complaining, I love it. It fits me true to size, I got a medium. I am 5'7 and 130 pounds.

I absolutely love my parka but I find the fur has matted a little in a very short period of time. It’s not as fluffy and pretty as it was and I’ve only had the jacket a week and a half now

Sooo warm. Love the magnets to close the coat. Little tight when you sit and I’m not really wide in the hips but just use the zipper at the bottom to give a little more comfort when sitting!

Bought this upon recommendation from a friend. So far I’ve used it a few times when we went hiking couple weeks ago and walking the dog in our neighborhood. So far so good! It really did a great job keeping me warm and comfortable even with just a shirt underneath up to -10 temp. I also love the style. The fit feels a little tight on the arms if you put on a thick sweater.

Hood is a bit too big but other than that it is an awesome jacket! Very warm!

I love the jacket, it's super flattering. It's nice and long and very heavy with good quality zipper and magnetic closures. I got it in grey and I like it but wish they had other color selections. It does for very snug so recommended sizing up for sure.

This coat is so well made and beautiful but fits maybe slimmer fit then me . Returned for the Powder Coat and love that one

It’s really good and perfect for worst snowy weather and I legit don’t feel cold while walking outside! Especially with the pandemic I’m always walking outside so this jacket is amazing

I got M and it was perfect I’m 57 Kg and curvy. If you like to wear thick sweaters under the jacket then get a M!

This is a fantastic parka. I live in Toronto and I've been wearing it in -15 and so on weather. The hood fur can be positioned around your neck if you don't want to wear it fully. It goes to the knees and is really nice on your figure. It fits a size smaller, so buy a size larger than what you ordinarily wear. I was a small in Babaton / Aritzia products, bought a medium in this. Its really flattering. The material is so warm and nice. Tons of space in pockets. There is almost nothing I can say besides the sizing. It looks like a Canada Goose parka, but honestly, I love the fit so much more. It cinches your waist. I am so thankful to the Aritzia stylist who told me to try this on in lieu of the parka I originally wanted being sold out.

I've had this parka for a year now and I can tell you its worth the money.

I love my Bancroft Parka - I am an elementary teacher and it keeps me so warm while out on recess duty in the winter. It is more fitted than a typical parka, which I love, and the magnets in the lining are soooo much easier than snap buttons. The fur is removable, which makes the hood a bit less bulky, but it is so warm and looks great too!

Feels warm, stylish, and practical.

I’ve had this coat for over a year now. It so perfect! It keeps me warm in negative temps and keeps me dry during snowfalls. The only downside is that it’s a lot bulkier than I expected and the hood is a little too oversized.

It's been my go-to jacket since I bought. But it's also my first winter jacket as I just moved to Canada so I dont have anything to compare it with. Keeps me warm so far when the temp in Toronto has been going down to -5 to -10 degree C. I wish it was a little lighter no my shoulders though.

Love the coat, especially how quick it drys, the secure and secretive pockets. My only negative thing about the coat, was a mistake that I made by buying it a size bigger under the assumption I would need to layer a lot of thick clothing underneath- the coats warm enough for Toronto and Kingston (Ontario) weather. Hence the coat being to too big sometimes air gets in, but again that was my fault thinking I would need to layer a lot and also thinking with the mentality that I'm going to grow into it. Great purchase I've encouraged others to buy, totally recommend.

The jacket is warm and i love the material but, the hood is awkwardly large. When on, it covers my entire face. Not sure what the intention of the design was. Aside from the hood, it's a great jacket.

Great quality, very warm, a little pricey

I bought this parka last year with dark Olive color, it is really warm and fit, just want a different color this year.

I needed something for the “coldest weather of the generation.” This parka does its job to keep me warm without having to wear too many layers underneath. The hood is a bit ridiculous, but I love it! It’s huge and the faux fur is gorgeous. The parka runs small, but I like the slim fit. Overall, super happy with the purchase.

I seen reviews about it being smaller and to size up, I am glad I did. I got the Deep Olive Green jacket and I get a lot of compliments on it. I even got asked if it’s a Canada Goose Jacket. It’s unique. I would recommend!

I love the look and feel - the magnetic buttons are great. I don’t feel there is enough insulation (down) in the arms. I feel cold spots and breezes in the elbows and back of arms. I wouldn’t rate that part as -30 - and I am active. The hood is amazing. I am glad I got a bigger size and I will need to wear a sweater if I am outside for lengthier periods of time over 30-45 minutes

i got the Catalina Bancroft parka in red color for $188, waterproof, windproof, 100% goose down and shoulder straps....

The quality is OK for this price. This parka is smaller than it sized, as I also bought the hoodie with XS size, which Is pretty big to me. So I don’t think this parka was sized right and I cannot breath very well though only wear a shirt in it.

Really, a 4.5 for minor nitpicks, but I round up because otherwise it's perfectly toasty, and one of the nicest jackets I've had.
The Bancroft has been my panacea to the cold, unforgiving winter of southern Ontario. I never felt cold in ~ -27 deg cel wind chill which is great! I hate the cold. I like the flat pockets for my small carry-ons i.e. phone, keys and the separate handwarmers. I don't kno about you, but I've lost/dropped so many things from putting everything, including my hands, in the main, only pocket.
Other than that, I have some minor nitpicks. The hood is a bit confusing to figure out and it's too big. Even with the drawstrings, it's always an upneck battle to keep it to fit on my head. The coat I find is a bit on the larger fit, but not terribly so -- I sized up because reviews have stated that the fit was slightly smaller than expected! In hindsight, I should have taken the XS, as it would have looked a bit nicer on me. Lastly, I wish the coat had a more defined waist, or a drawstring in the inside of the coat. Warmth is a priority, but so is looking good!
As a reference, my height is roughly 164cm (rounded up for the review), small frame, and I weigh about 120 due to consistent weightlifting.
All in all, great coat and I would recommend it to girls who are looking for a better (and more ethical!) alternative to the CG coats!

I live in Northern Alberta, and winters here get super cold (-25 to -30C). I’ve been searching for the perfect winter jacket. I was prepared to pay a bit more and even compared the Canada Goose Down , but for the price- the Bancroft Parker is truly AMAZING! Gorgeous details, love the no show logo. I got the Navy colour, as I always choose black! I’ve received many compliments. Extremely warm and I don’t need bulk up in layers. Love the length and everything about it! Yes , the hood is very large but practical and looks gorgeous!

Quality is outstanding! Love the fit, this parka is the best! Love the fabric, and it keeps you extremely warm!! I have recommended it to everyone I know!

This is an excellent dupe for the Canada goose Trillium parka for a fraction of the cost. I went up to a M (normally a S) to ensure I felt comfortable and could fit a thicker sweater under it if I needed. So far have tested it out in up to -20 temperature and have no complaints. It was important for me to have a jacket that could withstand my commute to work and this definitely does. Would highly recommend and repurchase over and over again.

I would totally recommend this parka! I got the navy and definitely was pleased with the colour. The size small (I am 5'4 and 125 lbs) fits a little snug in the waist but only when I wear a sweater. The hood is a little ridiculously big with the fur lining but that can be detached (my friends say I look like Kenny off of South Park). It is very warm and has kept me comfortable while watching sporting events outside.

I love the slim fit in a warm parka

I got the vegan version of this parka for Christmas. Love everything about it, fit, style, comfort level. Only problem is the hood is way to large and blocks vision, even with the fur removed. There should be an adjustment strap on the hood so you can adjust it to sit properly.
