Very cute dress, good quality but a little on the short side. I wish there was a tall version!

The fit was good but the white colour is completely see-through even with nude underwear which was very disappointing.

Beautiful dress and fabric. Colour is exactly as described-imagine sunflower! Perfectly short and fitted on a waist.

I can not recomend and item I haven’t received yet - 8 days on a priority order and asked to wait another 5 before they do anything. Nice..

Im 5’6 118lbs I typically buy XS but bought a XXS instead (based on past years sizes where it fit bigger). It fits well in the waist and arms but it is so so so very short. There’s about an inch of fabric between my bum + the end of the dress. My sister bought this same dress 2years ago and it was way longer (we are the same height). Anyways, sadly returning.

Ordered this in the shade Sunflower, what a gorgeous shade of yellow. I also purchased this dress in 2021 in a beautiful mauve/pink/pale blue patterned print in the same size and it remains to be one of my best clothing purchases to this day. Naturally, I decided to compare the two side by side because visually, the new one seemed shorter and I was right, about a good 2" shorter in length from what I measured, specifically in the fabric in the bottom-most portion of the dress. The bodice fortunately fits the same as the previous model and most of the overall proportions also appear to look the same - I can still wear it with a strapless bra no problem and it looks lovely. I also noticed that the frilly trim detailing on my original dress, both at the top of the bodice and along the ends of the sleeves, is missing on this newer model, which isn't necessarily a con, I just thought it added a little more elegance to the dress. I wouldn't recommend sizing up as it tends to change the proportions of the dress on the whole in an unflattering way, at least in my experience. I'm not sure why Aritzia made this dress shorter as I think the original length suited a greater variety of heights, but overall, it's a lovely piece and I look forward to wearing it once the summer rolls in.

Received as a gift, I'm 5'4" 110lb and got the XS - I consider myself relatively petite, but the dress was very short, and the smocking ended under my bra line instead of at my waistline, making this look more like a babydoll dress - everything except the arms felt too short/off on me. However, color was beautiful in Aventura Green.

Gorgeous dress, I tried it in blue. The only thing is I would prefer to wear a bra with this one and unfortunately it was visible when I tried it with a bra. I got a medium and it didn’t seem to have enough bust support to hold them in nicely (34DD). If I would have sized down I think it would have been way too short for my liking. I’m 5’6” and this dress went only a few inches below my bum in the medium size. For the price, I had to return.

Love this dress! Have another one already. Somehow this one I got in black recently is a bit shorter than my pink one…

This is the most versatile and flattering dress. You can make it casual or dress it up and it works for many occasions depending on how you style it. Very comfortable as a tall woman I’m happy to say it isn’t too short on me. 10/10.

Super cute dress, well made, easy to wear a strapless bra without anything showing.
A little on the short side, I am 5'7 and I wore it to a cocktail party outside but didn't have any problems with the wind blowing or anything ;)

I love this dress! I love the chiffon sleeves and the airiness of the dress. Even with the ruched too I think you could wear this dress for a nice occasion. The colors are great, too. I have a small band, large cup size, and this dress was perfect, but may have to wear a strapless bra so the straps don’t show.

I bought for a fall wedding, and loved it. I received so many compliments on the color. I was a huge fan of the square neckline, and the material is good quality. My only gripe is that the shoulders did slip / have to be repositioned constantly. Other than that, I loved it.

This dress is pretty and fit great but the sleeves kept falling off my shoulders. Also, the material was so delicate that it snagged in multiple places after wearing it only once. The quality is not great, looking at the hem of the dress it was frayed. Not sure if it is intentional or not.

Fits true to size, perfect length for me! I’m 5’1 and it sat a couple inches above my knee. Perfect wedding guest dress!

Great dress, made me feel comfortable and cute at the same time. I like that your arms are somewhat covered but the sheer fabric shows them a little. I ordered my usual size and it fits perfect. I usually wear a L and 12-14 in bottoms from Aritzia

Really wanted to love this dress however it was totally see through even with nipple pasties on. The sleeves were also extremely finicky and kept falling down. Ended up returning it.

Bought this dress for a birthday and it’s the most flattering and comfortable dress. I totally recommend it!

The sleeves constantly slide off the shoulder. Not sure if this dress was designed with someone who has very broad shoulders... but just something to keep in mind.

I fell in love with this dress when I put it on! I was so excited to wear it to a wedding, and when I got there I received so many compliments! The candy pink is so pretty. The reason for the low review is the material snagged in about 20 places after 1 night out. I definitely can’t wear it again. Unfortunately this makes the dress not worth the price at all.

Like many other reviews mentioned, this tempest dress is not the same as the previous year model. The material is not as soft and the sheer part on the sleeve wrinkles now. The length is also a couple inches shorter compared the last years style. I also find it fits smaller compared to last years (size up ladies!) I bought the black one last year and love it. But this years model is not it. As a tall girl, the length is way too short now and overall fits small.

The dress is great in pictures shown on the website but the actual item is quite loose around the chest area. It's hard to hide the bra straps and the fit was odd in places. The elastic waist does not fall in the right places. It tightens the upper stomach area leaving the lower abs loose - so you look like you are bloated. It's airy and romantic but the fit could be better.

the fit, the length - i’ve never felt prettier. i usually wear a medium because i have a bigger chest but got this in a small since the top is stretchy and i wanted it to be shorter and it fits perfectly!! i want every color

I have two of these dresses - one I bought about a year ago and one that I bought a week ago. The newer one feels super cheap compared to the older one. The older one is sooo nice! My new dress also arrived with a little stain on it. I won't be purchasing this dress again unless they go back to the old version. Sad!

Dress can fit a little bit, I'd go a size down if I order another colour

I was sad when this arrived and was very see-through. Both the top piece and the bottom + lining felt very thin and the bottom was very transparent. I got the mint green color.

I usually go for an XS but the size finder recommended I size down to 2XS and I'm glad I did! I got the dress in the Candy color and the skirt is still a bit transparent. Other than this, SUPER PRETTY, very Princess vibes!

I just bought this dress in the pastel sage green and the material is already falling apart. The back threading where the smock is coming loose! Someone reviewed that they hugged their friend and the material snagged, I also agree how delicate this dress is for the price. Not worth it . There’s cheaper dresses that will last. As for size, I am usually a small but I ordered my trusty medium and it fit perfect. The length was good, I’m 5”2 and 130 pounds. I’ve got a 36b cup size so the top fit perfectly however only issue was the threading coming undone :(

If you are tall like me this dress is a no go unless your goal is to be a shirt

This dress is so pretty and iconic but I have both the new and old version and the new version (this one) is worse than the old. The old one is longer and more feminine. I'm not sure why they redesigned this dress but I really hope they bring the old tempest dress back.

As someone with a larger chest and overall larger dress size i loooove this dress!! I would imagine this is a dress that would e faltering on everyone!!

I range usually from a size 12-16 depending on the style of the dress so I bought a 2XL in white because that was the only one left and I needed the dress ASAP. Ideally, I would have gone for an XL however you can barely tell that's slightly bigger on me. I actually like that it's a little longer and flowy. The only downsides are that the dress is a little sheer and the sleeves fall off my shoulders every once in a while. But honestly, I don't care that much because this is absolutely one of my favourite dresses ever.

Dress is gorgeous and fits perfect but the light birch colour is slightly see through. Need light underwear to wear. For the price I would imagine it would be less opaque. You could probably find a dupe for much cheaper but overall it’s super nice

I really like this dress and think the quality and pattern is really nice. The only thing is it doesn't hit me exactly in my waist (a little above) but I still find it to be flattering!!

so adorable and fits great, but material isn't durable enough for the price. mesh sleeves catch onto things like bra straps or other clothing items and rip really easily. got 2 holes from just hugging my friend, and almost punctured it again when taking it off as it hooked onto my bra clasp, all within the first wear :(

Love this dress. I am 5’3 115 pounds and it fits perfect!

I want to love this dress, because its very cute, but if you have a slightly larger chest (D) it just doesn't give you enough support to go without a bra and its very tricky to wear a bra with the dress. Tape is perhaps the only option and for a sort of comfy dress I wasn't willing to do that.

I wish there was an option to buy with a "shelf" or built in bra. :(

Given that it's a mini, it runs pretty short on someone who is tall like me. Lovely colour!! The fabric feels like a dream.
