the effortless pant™

This pants is very flattering.
My butt is quite flat but this pants can shape my butt!! I personally don’t like my pants on the floor, so I ordered short version, and it’s the perfect length for me. For reference, I am 5’6 and 114 pounds. I ordered a size 2, fits perfectly.

I have four different pairs of effortless pants now and they are the best overall pant I have. They're great for work, going out for dinner, casual get-togethers, shopping, etc. I quite like the (re)ssential fabric, as it feels more structured. It's quite flattering and easy to tuck anything into without fabric lines showing through.

I was so excited to try these after all of the hype, but returned them. The sizing is off, fabric feels stiff and uncomfortable and I find the fabric is not that breathable which is not a good fit for a day at work.

I own several pairs of effortless pants and needed to size up from an 8 to a 10, but the size 10 fit even smaller than the 8 that I already own.

My other effortless pants (crepette) are size 8, got these in a 10 (re-essential) hoping for more oversized look but the fit is almost identical. The fabric has a bit more structure than crepette. love the heathered grey!

I had Effortless Pants in the same fabrication from last year. They are swimming on me now as my body has changed and so I sized down with this new pair. My size 12 from last year is too big by at least 2 inches so I sized down to a 10 so they still felt roomy but more tailored to me. The size 10’s in this year’s style are too small by about a size. This has happened to me with so many bottoms this year from Aritzia and I am so tired of it. Please scale your sizing consistently to make it easier on your customers.

These pants are really beautiful quality but the sizing is crazy. I had to size up and the regular length is very very long.

I ordered a size up based on a bunch of the reviews and I wish that I hadn’t. I’m usually a size 6 (27 inch waist) and decided to get a size 8 since all the reviews said these pants ran super small. The 8s were waaay too big on me. Def should’ve ordered a size 6, which is my usual size in Aritzia. Otherwise, they’re amazing pants! I love the fabric and style and will definitely be reordering in my normal size.

i ordered the 8 returned and got the 10 because i wanted a roomier pant. They feel really nice, perfect weight fabric, beautifully tailored and flattering

Fits true to size and the colour is perfect!

So versatile, dress up or dress down. Multiple materials and length to pick from. You CANNOT go wrong with these pants. They are perfect in every way. My favorite is the Crepette but I also love the Linen. Couldn’t recommend a higher quality pair of pants!

These pants are falsely advertised .
1. They are way to long, they are the length of the regular ones
2. They fit bigger then the regular length pants

I got these pants for a work event and wow are they extremely small. I’m typically a size 12 in jeans and I had to get a size 16 in these just for the waist to fit. I now have to get the legs altered. If I didn’t have to for work, I would NOT recommend these to anyone with an “apple shaped” body. Aritzia seems to still only cater to the “young & skinny” crowd. Ridiculous to have to buy almost 3 sizes bigger to fit lol.

Bought the ReEssential fabric. Had to size up (6). I’m 5’7 129lbs. The (4) was too short in the crotch. The fabric is hefty. Doesn’t look wrinkly. Have not worn them out yet but I’m happy with purchase so far.

In every brand I buy I’m either a size 2 or 4. I am 5’6” 125 lbs and while I could get the size 4 to button and it looked ok, it just was not comfortable. Way too tight. I sized up to a 6 and it worked great. Also my body shape is slim with a flat stomach for reference.

The fit was fine, the fabric was see-through at the back as the colour was in “Light Birch.” I’ve had friends who purchased the same pair years ago tell me their pants were not see-through, so I’m wondering if there was a change in the quality of the fabric overtime to become cheaper and not as high quality.

I was hesitant to buy online as I was torn between long/tall length vs regular length, I’m 5’7/5’8 and so was right on the sizing threshold. I ordered the long/tall size and they fit perfectly with a mid height heel. If you are on the fence hopefully this helps!

Good quality pants, fabric is soft and it has good flow

The pants fit and look great but be wary of buying online, quality control is awful, on my 2nd wear there's a tear in the pants pocket.

Does not fit the same at all as the older version of the Wilfred effortless pant. Brown colour is not great. I'm a size 6 in the black pants, and was wondering if maybe they had just stretched, as the fit was completely different with the brown Aritzia effortless pant. They fit much smaller (and shorter).

Second pair of effortless pant I have owned and already loosing the stitching in the hem. They fall out every time and just after a few washes this time. I love these pants but wish they would make the invisible hem seam sturdier!

I got the Effortless in the ecovero and I liked it so much I got it in another color. They fit just the way I wanted them too, and they are so comfortable. The fabric is lovely. You can dress them up or down. I read the reviews before ordering, and most said that you had to go up a size or two. I typically wear a 00 or 0 (in Everlane or Madewell) but I ordered this in a 2 and I like the fit. The 0 probably would've been fine too.

These are my favourite effortless pants. I love the material and how tailored these pants look. The material doesn’t wrinkle easily and it’s warmer and more tailored looking than the crepette material. They look great with heels but also with runners and oversized jacket. I have 4 colours of these and will continue to add more colours to my wardrobe.

Just a heads up that they do fit a bit smaller than the crepette material, but not too much (I tried the wool version of the effortless and those were SIGNIFICANTLY smaller than my normal size). The waist area is just slightly smaller, but not significantly.

I am 5'7" and 110lbs. They fit perfectly and length is good when wearing low heeled shoes. Good for colder weather as material is heavy. Drape well.

I have the exact same trouser in white hanging in my closet ( same size ) that fit perfectly but these new ones barely do up

Please for the love of God restock the tall lengths with some more colours! Enough said. The pants are fantastic. I normally wear a 4 and have to get these in a 6 for comfort. Aritzia sizes can sometimes run small

I received these pants in heather rich cocoa for Christmas. I have three pairs of effortless pants in size 4 that fit great. These ran smaller than those other three and I had to return them for a size 6. Not sure why the sizing formular has changed. great quality pant nonetheless.

It has good style and waist is just right, but it's very long so I returned it.

These went viral for a reason. I’ve been searching my entire life for these pants. The sizing is inconsistent though. The most recent pair I ordered were an inch smaller. I wear size 4 in aritzia pants and the 4 was too small this time around. I’m 5,8 and 120 lbs.

Love the drapey fabric and high waist. Feel like I could have gone size 6 or size 4. Went with the smaller size as still roomy and drapey enough.

Please never stop making SKU 96000. This fabric is perfect above all the other variation.

I originally bought the Effortless pants in a size 4 in 2021 and they fit perfectly, I purchased them again in 2022 and had to size up to a 6 and I have just tried purchasing them again in a size 6 but they are shorted and tighter in the waist (all different colours). For reference I'm 5'7 135 lbs - I'm not sure why the sizing keeps changing and there seems to be a lot of flyaway strings on the pants, They aren't what they used to be.

Love these wide leg and easy to wear pants. Wear them dressed or with casual sneakers. The crepette is my favourite material.

Size was too small compared to other brands

I am retired, but I have worn these pants a lot to church and to evening functions. I have them in black and constant camel, and I find myself going to the constant camel the most. I actually didn’t like the crêpe material, and decided on the suiting material. I’ve only washed them once, but they wash great. The only thing with these pants is that I find huge inconsistency with sizing. The crepe pant fits bigger in the waist than the office pant, so I sized up. There is no waist gaping and they are an high fit. Actually I had some difficulty getting a length with both pant legs the same length. I bought the regular, but I had to take the camel pants to be shortened, and the black ones I had to take to have 1 leg altered because I couldn’t get both legs to be the same length.

I need to return it size small for me

While i like my pants, they are a bit tight around the bum, and maybe should have sized up for a more relaxed fit. However, when i tried a size larger i was swimming in them and were too loose. Overall i like the look of the pants, but found i am ‘between sizes’ i definitely recommend trying 2 different sizes to see what look you like better.

I saw mixed reviews about whether or not to size up. I'm usually a size 14 in pants but I should have sized up to a size 16 in these. They fit in the waist but the pants don't drape like they're supposed to. If I had a smaller bum they probably would've fit fine. Might try the crepette next time although this fabric feels better for winter. (The review doesn't offer a size 14 as an option for what I ordered and my usual size. I ordered a 14 and am usually a 14 and they were too small).

Bought these in my normal size, but the sizing is unpredictable. These are at least an inch smaller around the waist compared to the same size in the crepette fabric.

The item is beautiful however the pants are no where near short enough based on the information online.

I literally measured myself before ordering these and the size chart suggested two sizes above my average size. When they arrived, I drowned in them-- think my usual size, or one size up, would be the right fit. I'd only order up if you're between sizes.

Really happy with the quality of these pants. They fit very well. They don’t wrinkle easily especially when you sit.
