My favourite aritzia pants!! I’m tall with a small waist, wider hips and thighs, so it’s usually hard to find pants that fits and flatters my figure! To give you an example, I love Abercrombie jeans “curvy love” collection and a 26 fits perfectly! So FINALLY Aritzia has a pant that fits girls with a bit of curves! 100% recommends!!! Very professional too!

These pants are my favourite dress pants at aritzia, the fit is amazing! I got these in a tall length and they were the perfect length for me who is nearly 5ft 8in. PLEASE re stock these in a long length

I'm 130 lbs and the 6 is a bit loose but still flattering

I prefer these pants much more to the effortless pants due to the higher waist and the slimmer leg shape. The length is also long enough for my height. Easy to wear with sneakers or a short heel.

As mentioned in the title, the pants fit true to size with a little to no stretch in the material. If you are in between sizes, I would suggest to size up. I bought this pants on final sale and due to my pcos i sometimes experience significant bloating. I really appreciate the customer service rep who helped me adjust my size even though it was final sale.

The pants did not fit . I am usually petite size 2 or 4 but fits with my daughter .

After buying, I completely agree with the previous reviewer that said these are tighter than the effortless pants. My usual effortless size is 2, which is what I bought on final sale. They’re definitely an inch tighter, especially through the hip/pocket area. I’m also wearing them to see if they’ll “break in”, which they have just only slightly so far. I think the 4 would have been the better fit in these pants. I’m 5’6, 125lbs, 25 waist and 36-37 hip.

Got it on clearance. Alas, I cannot return it. I’m usually size 6, but sizing in Aritzia has become off lately so I gambled and ordered size 8. Still the pants are too tight, might’ve been size 4.

I own a pair of the Effortless pants in a size 6 and got these also in a size 6 expecting them to fit similarly. The effortless are quite roomy on me, even on a full stomach it's got an inch or more of wiggle room. The Chopins on the other hand, are quite snug on me. Unfortunately I bought them final sale so I can't exchange for a bigger size, but just a warning to all girls buying these that they're actually noticeably tighter around the waist and crotch than the Effortless are! Just hoping that it will stretch out a bit with wear. Otherwise they're a very gorgeous and high quality pant, and make for a great and flattering closet staple. The effortless can feel a little *too* wide sometimes so these are great - not too wide, but not a skinny-fit trouser either. It's made with the same great non-wrinkling crepe fabric as the Effortless as well.

Really nice fabric and fit great. They are a little plain in that they are just traditional straight leg but great basic pair of pants, can be dressed up or down. Fit true to size for me

I wasn’t a fan, I did return them. I’m 5’9” and 140lbs for reference. The size 6 was just a tad tight in the waist and a bit short. Aritzia please make more pants in tall!!

The material feels so light, airy and soft. So comfortable and doesn’t feel restrictive when sitting or anything. I like that it’s straight leg as a lot of the other dress pant styles were very baggy and wide legged. Excited to wear these for an upcoming interview.

Great alternative to the effortless pants for lanky gals like me. I have both and the Chopin pants are slimmer and look more professional than the Effortless pants which look sloppy on me if I'm wearing a loose top / oversized blazer.

Love this pant. Fits so nice and is high waisted . Fabric is very nice and needs little ironing.

Been looking for a pair of classic work pants and these are it! Comfortable straight leg pants, wish they offered a short version as I’ve had to get both tailored, but otherwise I love them and wear them religiously

I find this pant fits true to size, but has a little more length and fits tall lanky girls a little better than the effortless pant which I find can be too wide and drowning.

These are by far my favourite dress pant from Aritzia. They are a closet staple and timeless. Fits better than the effortless pant imo.

Lovely pants, but this time the sizing was off. Normally a double XS or a 00 from Aritzia fits.

I love these, I like them better than the effortless pants. I find they work for formal situations and can also be dressed down.

I’m 5’4 and 125lbs - was looking for a black trouser and went into Wilfred and tried on the effortless (suit material), Alanya and these. the first two have a bit of a wider leg whereas this one is more slim and tapered and all three were a perfect length for my height. Ultimately, I found these to be the most elongating and flattering for my body.

Fabric feels really nice, and the fit is perfect! For reference I'm 5'5, 100lbs and size 00 fit really well while majority of Aritzia pants are a little large for me. Wish there were more colors!
