the melina™ pant

These pants do not fit not even close. lol I have big hips and small waist and could not manage these. I sucked in as much and I could and finally got them zipped, but then the back has that gap so you could see my underwear 💀. Of course they are final sale and I can’t return them. I have other Melina’s in my size (6) which fit perfect even have some breathing room in them. So this was really confusing and waste of $.

The pants are not true to size and since they are final sale, there’s nothing I can do.

I find the fit is straight through the hips and leg. The length was perfect me. I’m 5’4”.

I actually had to size up not one but two sizes in this in order for the hip and lower belly area to fit, and at that size the gapping at the back of the waistband was several inches, so I’m definitely going to have to cinch it down with a belt. The fabric is great. It is indeed stiffer and crisper than the usual vegan leather - it would be nice if they brought this back in a better fit with the croc embossed on the usual buttery vegan leather. The fit is honestly so weird that I think there may have been patterning or manufacturing errors in producing these. I at first ordered a 2 which is my typical size for Aritzia and I couldn’t even zip them. (But it somehow STILL gapped in the back despite barely being able to button them.) In store they had a 6 which fit much better, more like my usual 2, but the butt and lower belly region is still pretty tight, and then from the butt up through the waistband is like this vertical barrel, it doesn’t taper at the waist, it just stands straight up vertically producing the gap people are talking about. The weird thing is that although I do have a lower belly especially a few months post partum, I have straight, narrow hips and the most tiny nonexistent butt ever, and yet the butt is where this is super tight. But the 6 will be ok with a tight belt. My advice is if you are in between sizes or have a less snug fitting aritzia size of two, size up one from the larger. I’m currently 120 lbs, 5’4” with a non-curvy fairly small boyish frame, but with a gut.
One positive is that although I bought this at final sale, I went in store to exchange and was given one, no questions asked! I was SO thankful and relieved. I’m hoping this is a trend and that the return policy you hear so many awful things about is changing and becoming kinder!

A great going out pant; a little too high waisted imo, which makes them gape a bit in the back of the waistband but I still like them a lot.

I bought these in 2 sizes and everything fit well EXCEPT the waist. Why is the waist soooooo big, it leaves so much room in the back. It looks terrible

I usually wear a size 2 in other brands but a 4 in aritzia but in these a took a 6. The 4 was just too tight in the waist. The faux leather looks like real leather and the length is perfect for a flat shoe. Washes like new.

They’re really nice but they are so much more delicate then the originals, be careful with the belt loops!

My first vegan leather pant purchase ever! These sorts of pants have always fit awkward on me and/or i've found them to be uncomfortable. I'm 5'3, about 127lbs, athletic build. These are a true straight -leg pant (normally "straight leg" fits too tight in the calf area for me and they don't have that slightly relaxed look in the thigh area). These are it! Plus they're very comfortable, and the length for me height is great (no need to hem them). I feel confident when I wear them, I hope they'll hold up nice! I've heard great things, and the employee at the cash gave me washing instructions.

For sizing, I normally fit in an XS or 0 in Artizia pants. For these I went for a size 2. Tight enough around the waist that there's room to stretch (because they do apparently), but enough room to breathe and to look fitted in the right size.

Love them! They run a bit short vs my other Melina pants. I’m 5ft 4in and I had to purchase the “TALL” which still didn’t end up being that long. Other than that I do love them!!

These pants are rediculously great. I bought a similar pair from another brand and they didn’t make it up by bum, but these are so good and stretch and also so flattering!! LOVE
