melina low rise pant

I’ve never had a woman that could ever dawn the low rise leather pant nor would they even if they could. Then I met my Ukrainian wife. I had mentioned she should buy a pair someday. She went on how popular they were in Ukraine and didn’t like them because they showed their underwear. I said I don’t care and took things in my own hands and ordered them online. I thought she looked like a size 0. So let’s see what happens. They finally came. She absolutely loves them and look stunning. I liked them so much I bought her the low rise cropped ones too which she loved.

I had to go up a size or two for this to fit me comfortably and ended up returning the pants.

Pants fit well at waist and legs but it super tight in the butt area. Pants need to come in a "curvy" size although I am not that curvy

Just purchased these today from outlet since I’ve been eyeing on these pants for quite some time. These are sooooo soft to touch and provide that buttery sensation on your skin when you put them on. Like other reviewers have said, I’d say these are NOT low rise, more like a mid-rise, measured at 9” for the rise, 30” for the inseam, which are perfect for my 5’6” frame. Highly recommend!

I'm 5' 1" 125 lbs and have a short torso, these are definitely a mid-rise on me and I love that bc the high rise were too high for my body. I was on the fence about buying this pair, but I had tried on multiple black leather pants from different brands and this is the best fitting. Hugs the right places and a must have staple item.

Fit is perfect. It is not low rise like the photo, I would say it is more of a mid rise. Very comfortable and looks like real leather.

I'm 5'4, 109 lbs and size 0 in the regular length fits perfectly. I wouldn't say these are low rise but hits just below my belly button. Very bum flattering. Good quality and worth the money.

i love the melina pants, but u feel like the low rise makes me pull up my pants a lot. theyre true to size, so just get your regular size.

These pants were a gift. A belt loop broke the second time I wore them, no doubt due to cheap stitching (something that has been plaguing Aritzia clothing for years now). I noticed there was only one thread that kept the belt loop attached, and that is what broke. Unacceptable for this to happen on $150 pants.

The pants are described as low rise, but they fit like midrise and have a massive waist gap. Anyone who lived through the 2000s knows waist gaps on 'low rise' pants are problematic to say the least. Sizing down wouldn't solve the problem as the pants otherwise fit properly in the legs and thigh. A size down would affect the straight leg look.

These pants look good, and are actually quite warm in the winter (I wore them in negative temperatures and was comfortable). But due to the quality and fit problems I do not recommend purchasing these unless you're willing to accept you are paying a premium for a cheaply made product. I'm assuming I will not get years of wear out of these pants.

While the high rise dominates the market, it's hard to find anything good that is bellow belly button but these hit the right spot - quite literally - because they sit slightly lower below the belly button but not offensively low. This means the bottom looks great and you can flex the abs and show off the waist silhouette. I'm lean/average build all round with longer torso and my pants size varies in Aritzia for different models but I grabbed 2 size of these as a starting point and they fit perfectly (although on the tighter size but they do stretch out over time so it's still a perfect fit). Quality is A+ too.

every body is different, so as someone with a longer torso these pants were not low rise on me. If it helps, the rise is 2” shorter than the high rise melina. If you’re expecting something that sits at your hip bones, this may not be it. Try on in person to be safe.

Love the pants. A little tight but they’ll stretch and I need to lose weight. Lol

They say low rise but they are far from that.

I disagree with the other review, I have a small waist to hip ratio (27/41) and loved these as an alternative to the high waisted ones which I would have had to alter in the waist. I'm a medium/size 30 in Aritzia and the 8 was great with minimal waist gap. Not sure if it will stretch out but so far I'm really happy with them!

Curvy girls beware!! Had to size up in order to even be able to do them up but there is major waistband gapping and they are tight on the thighs - wanted to love them but they just weren’t for me. Usually size 10, 5’7 160lbs
