I was looking for jean shorts that weren't super short, but also weren't tight in the leg. Seemed like the option didn't exist until I found these. They have a slightly looser fit (which is the style) and there is enough room in the leg that it doesn't squeeze your thighs. So you don't have to constantly pull them down. They are expensive, but well worth it for the fit and quality. Great wardrobe staple that will last a long time.

I am usually a size 28-29 in jeans, but size 28 of these was HUGE, like gaping space at the waist (I am 145lbs for reference). I ordered size 27, and they fit perfectly. Because I am 5'9'', these shorts are the perfect length on me, they actually look like regular shorts on my frame, but if you are shorter, you might get more of the longer look.

Size down. Absolute favourite jeans. Prefer them to the original length.

I have never worn any denim by AGOLDE but have heard nothing but good things about this brand. Wanted some longer style shorts, but not Bermuda length so these seemed to fit the bill. Overall the length is good and I like that they don’t hug the thigh, making my legs appear slimmer. The rise is just at my navel and they are comfortably snug. I am hoping they don’t stretch out after wearing. The construction is 100% cotton so we will see. Love the colour and the button fly, a vintage look. Very pricey for shorts but if they look good and hold up I feel they are worth it.
