nice casual look
I am 5'2, usual size xs-s in pants and tops, size 2 in pants and dresses. I am more like a true size xs, but I prefer to size up to a small on shorts as I want the shorts to sit a bit longer. When the shorts are shorter and have a wider leg I prefer to size up as I'm worried if i bend over you may see a buttcheck. Sizing up to a small did work for me as it is a relaxed look/feel.

Awkward Fit
I normally wear size medium in everything at aritzia and these just fit so weird! While they can easily fit around the waist, the bum and thighs are so tight and unflattering. I tried sizing up to a large but then they were just too big around the waist. Very awkward fit and do not reccommend. The only reason I gave 2 stars is because they are a cute pattern I wish they fit properly.

Perfect summer shorts!
I would recommend these shorts to anyone looking for a cute lighter pair of summer shorts! The length of the shorts in perfect, and the patterns are so pretty! However I did find these shorts to be tighter around the hips/butt, and the fabric too be bit see through. I would recommend anyone with wider hips to size up! Apart from this I found these shorts to be the perfect addition to my summer wardrobe and I highly encourage those of you reading this to purchase a pair!

Such cute shorts
I've been looking for a pair of shorts like this for a long time so I am in love with the style! However, on my body type (smaller waist, larger thighs) there is a bit of gapping in waist and tightness in the leg.

Cute but tight in the butt
The bum is very tight. I normally wear a medium in Aritzia shorts and although the waist fits, the bum is very squishy, not a very flattering look. It looks more like preppy shorts than boxers (on me at least). Maybe not the best option for ladies with wider hips/larger bums.
