the ganna shirt jacket

I love this jacket but was thrown off by the reviews about the fit. Based on the reviews saying it ran big, I sized down to an XS. It's not that it doesn't fit but I should have stayed with my true size of a small and let it be more oversized.

Love that they brought the Ganna out in plaid, wish they brought more plaids. The material on this one is not 100% wool, it's a poly-wool blend which significantly reduces the quality of the jacket. It's a much thinner (almost see through in parts), stretchy and ulta-itchy/scratchy material, not at all worth the increased price. Stick with the classic ganna on this one for warmth and quality.

I was so excited about this jacket. I think the plaid and chunkier wool really adds to the silhouette of the shirt/jacket style. The fit is perfectly oversized. You can wear a hoodie underneath without looking bulky. However, the jacket is unlined and unbearably itchy. Even with a long sleeve sweater or sweatshirt under you can still feel the itch seething through. This is a deal breaker for me. I really wish they lined this jacket or made a plaid in the merino wool version.

The style is really cute and the jacket is warm but the quality is just not there. Started to see a lot of pilling around the arms/pocket area only after wearing it twice. Most of my winter coats are from Aritzia and the quality have always been great so this was really unexpected. I tried to raise this quality issue but was told that this happens with all wool products and to just remove the little balls, one pill at a time. I mean I own other wool/knit products too and this has never happened only after two wears so I don't really agree with their response. Not worth $230 at all!!

Comfy, but DEFINITELY does not feel like $230– plus you have to take it to the cleaners to be washed which is a hassle

Ordered an xs and it fits perfectly! A fall staple, I love this jacket!

Love it! A little itchy from the inside. Need to wear it with a long sleeve shirt or sweater.

The sleeves are a little long (I’m 5’7” and bought a medium) and the color is more ivory than shown in the image but it’s a terrific jacket. Other than those two things, it’s a five star.

I absolutely adore this jacket, however you will want to wear long sleeves underneath as it’s itchy!

Itchy and stiff material. Makes you look bulky (ie not the cute oversized look).

I bought this jacket in mocha and love the colour. However I do find the fabric to be itchy (this jacket is a wool-poly blend, as compared to the ganna jacket which is 100% wool. The arms are about an inch too short for me but overall I'd say the jacket runs slightly larger. Otherwise I love the design.

It needs to be lined - the wool is kinda itchy and it does not hold its shape as nicely as the other Ganna jackets. Also maybe I have long arms but the arms seem short.

I wish it was lined especially for the price.
