the stedman coat

This coat is amazing. Very good quality and posh look. It is my favourite piece.

For the fit of a coat, I'd say this is definitely true to size. I got it in the colour black/white herringbone, size xs, and it fit perfectly. If you size down, it will bit tight around the shoulders and you won't be able to layer. I sized down, but I was still very comfortable. The fabric was a bit scratchy but amazing material regardless. I'm 5'1 and it was mid-calf length for me.

So beautiful and elegant coat. I am tall and skinny and works perfect on me. For sure next year I will buy other one.

It looks beautiful and I got it for a great price but definitely size down or two if you want a perfect fit because it’s very boxy. I’m usually a S and 4 in clothing but an XS would have been perfect. Otherwise I love it and style it with the Perfect hoodie

Love the fit of this coat. It will go well with my high rise skinny Levi jean which I recently bought from Aritzia boxing week!

I had to size down in this for the shoulder pads to fit my shoulders properly. Not quite 5 stars as the sleeves are tight compared to rest of jacket which makes it hard to layer big sweaters underneath.

Got a Small to replace my old XS Stedman I got from about 3 years ago.
Love the fit of the small better, it's roomy enough that I can fit a sweater underneath.
I'm 5'2" and usually wear XS on all tops/bottoms and I prefer the S on this one :)

I love this coat! So warm and perfect for December fall weather. I bought a Medium size which is my true size. It’s a bit long for my height 5’2” but it makes extra coverage. Glad I have it on sale, totally worth it!

I am 5'11, 130lb. size 6. I got this coat in S after trying on the regular Stedman coat in store. This version runs way bigger than the regular Stedman. The sleeves are long and wide (and I have long arms) and shape of the coat is boxy. Size down if you are on the slim side. The fabric is not thick enough for my liking. It is thinner than the regular, probably because it has only 70% of wool

I already have this jacket in beige - that I bought four years ago. Still in great condition today. Had to buy two more in different colours!

I took my regular size S and it is slightly oversized. The sleeves are especially long and wide, but otherwise the fit is ok and allows my body to move freely, so I am satisfied with the fit.
The quality of the material is not so soft as expected. I am glad I got it on sale, I would not have bought it at full price.

I’m 5’6 and about 150lbs and I bought a size medium. The coat is a nice length and is slightly oversized. The sleeves are a bit long but the shoulders fit well. Overall like the coat a lot.

I would size down in getting this. I normally Wear a medium in this brand but i should Have ordered it in a small. But i took It to the seamstress and had it taken in and reduce the length of the sleeve. Aside from that the material is beautiful and it's beautifully crafted.

Really happy with this, it looks great! Material feels high quality. I usually buy an S, but got an M since I have broad shoulders and it fits perfectly.

I really like this coat! The style and cut make it so it looks good while being a little relaxed. I didn’t give full 5 stars though because I was confused by the sizing. I took my measurements to make sure since it was final sale when I purchased but it ended up being big on me (not too big that it’s not wearable, though). If you’re thinking about getting the Steadman coat in any of the colors, I’d say dont get confused by the size measurements and just order the size you normally wear.

The coat is a beautiful colour and well made. I was looking forward to it fitting loose so I could wear bulkier clothing under it but it is a lot larger than expected. I usually wear a S and could have easily bought an XS. Now it’s non-refundable and I’ll have to get a tailor to fix it. It hits my knee and I’m fine with the length, but it’ll have to be taken in width wise.

This is a very nice coat with a really pretty fit and great length! (Goes down a bit past my knees) It's not the warmest coat out there but can definitely be layered up with sweaters and scarves. I have slightly broader shoulders so the S was definitely the way to go but since I went up in size, it is a lot roomier in the waist. For ref I'm 130lbs and 5'5!

Love the look, however it fits big. I ordered a medium after filling out the fit questionnaire, I am typically either a small or medium so this seemed appropriate, but when it arrived and I tried it on it was floating on me.
It is a loose cut but it’s large in the shoulders and looks really sloppy in the arms. I would definitely go down a size possibly two!
Unfortunately as I got it on sale I am unable to exchange, I recommend trying on first as it didn’t fit as expected.

The jacket is very nice. I bought the light grey one and the pattern is amazing :)

stylish and structured coat, warm enough for winter days going to the office
