I was actually looking to replace my parka but this is just as warm! The quality is amazing and I got it on sale so it was a steal. I am 5'4 and usually wear xs in tops but for this I listened to the other reviews and got xxs and it fits perfectly

The fabric is cozy and does not weight you down. Great for an easy breezy day in California to a snowstorm in Syracuse, New York!

Quality is hands down the best wool coat I’ve ever owned. Goes with so many looks- with a hoody and jeans and yet can be dressed up for an elegant look for business or a night out. I would suggest to size down if you like a fitted look. It’s a little roomy for me but my intention was to wear it more relaxed, and with winter sweaters which worked out great.

The only sad thing was that my coat was mailed with the security tag still on it!! Thanks to YouTube, I was able to safely remove it. Also, my buttons were loose and I had to resecure all of them. Since I’ve never had issues before with Aritzia, I figured it was a one time thing. Hopefully.

Ok, this is my BEST coat purchase ever, period. I am 5'4, 135 lbs, I bought a size S and everything about this coat is perfect for me. It's oversized but structured, perfect for layering with hoodie or sweater. I highly recommend giving a try to this coat. I always looked like Inspector Gadget with that kind of coat but NOT with this one. It is absolutely gorgeous!

Very soft material and the coat fits larger but perfect for layering underneath! Very warm and a great everyday coat! Ordered my regular size for an oversized fit.

Excellent material - so soft and warm. Sizing is roomy - so you can layer well under the coat.

The coat is super warm and cozy! Surprisingly it’s not any less warmer than my heavy down coat, and it’s lightweight! It’s going to be my go-to coat for the next couple of years!

Beautiful coat but it was very big on me. I’m 5’3, 160 pounds and I was swimming in it. It would fit better on a taller person.

Excellent coat, nice quality, very soft. Very warm, though I haven't tested it in -20C temperatures yet. Fits large especially the shoulder area, which is fine as I can wear larger sweaters underneath.

The coat runs larger than normal. I'm usually a 10/12 and 5'5" and the small actually fit me really nicely, I can still wear a thick sweater underneath. The silhouette is really flattering and is very warm.

The fit is nice. I would say slightly loose but give room for layering. I am usually a S but like to size up for coats. But I dont have to with this coat!

I love the shape (drapes so perfectly) and quality (so soft! not itchy at all). I wore it out in -1 degree weather, and it was great; I would just advise wearing a scarf when it's colder and layering up inside so that wind doesn't blow through the coat. It naturally has an oversized fit, but I wouldn't size down (I got XS). I originally had my eyes on the Wilfred Rocco coat, but that was sold out. I actually prefer this one because it has more buttons, which make it a more practical coat in colder weather, and it's cheaper, while having the same materials and features.

First of all, the material is soft to the touch and the tailoring is impeccable. I normally fit between 8 and 10 in Aritzia clothing. I got the medium in black and I am able to wear my Jara sweater or the Plutarch sweater and it still fit, when I wear lighter tops like the Wilfried only turtleneck or Sunday best - it has some generous room!! The saville is a fantastic color as well!

Usually wear a small/medium but for this coat I bought an. XS. Sooo comfy, sooo cute. Its very classic looking and can be dressed up or down, but never looks under-dressed. Highly recommend. Don't feel like I overheat in this jacket.

This coat is beautiful! Shout out to the other reviewers who suggested ordering a size down. I'm typically a size XS, but I ordered an XXS and it fits perfectly! It's still slightly oversized (which I love) but not so much so that I feel like I'm drowning in it. The arms are the perfect length and it hits right at my knees. (For reference I'm 5'4 and 110 lbs.)

Overall a warm, classic, well-made coat that I'm sure I'll have for years and years!

My daughter wants to steal it constantly, that pretty much makes it a winner lol. Fits great, true camel colour, nice deep pockets. Glad I purchased! I chose a medium as I wanted to be able to wear sweaters under it without feeling restricted, if I wanted a more fitted look I would’ve gone with a small. I’m 140 pounds and 5’4”

Beautiful coat but runs large. I ordered my normal size and ended up sizing down. Lots of room in the sleeves for chunky sweaters.

Great coat just not for me. purchased size s and it fits extremely large. i know it is oversize fit, but look very frumpy on me. you have to be at least 5.8 fit tall for it to look like on the model Unfortunately,had to send it back

I wanted a version of the Stedman coat that was fully lined and able to withstand colder temperatures, I'm very happy that Aritzia finally came out with this one. It's way roomier compared to the Stedman, so size down if you don't want the purposefully oversized look. I normally fit a size M in Aritzia and had to go with a size S in the Portrait. I had initially ordered size M, it was so big it fit my boyfriend perfectly!

The coat runs big. I purchased a medium for my daughter. She’s a size 10. The shoulders are big. The arm length is too long. The length of coat is good. She’s 5’5”. She’s going to exchange for a small. She loves her coat!
