onyx dress

I really love this dress, however, I used the size recommendation from the website and it was too big. I am 5’2” 125lbs and I got a 4. A size 2 would have been perfect for this dress. Sadly I cannot exchange it.

I typically wear a 4 in these clothes and occasionally a 2. For this I would go down a size if you aren't sure and think your normal size might be too large. I ordered the size 2 and I am happy I did because the 4 would be entirely too large.

Love the dress, bought in both the black and bone colour. I would definitely go one size down if you want a tight or body con fit. A minor issue is that the length is a little shorter than portrayed in the model images. The biggest issue is that the bone version of the dress is slightly see through in the back. The front of the dress is double lined but the back is not, this causes it to be slightly see through in the back. This was not a problem with the black version of the dress.

Fits wonderful and the material feels thick. Makes me look a lot nicer then I am. That is how much I love this dress.

Very elegant. Nice thick material to hold you in and smooth your curves. Highly recommend as a piece to keep in your closet

Got the bone colour dress and I love it! Material is thick and fits comfortably.

I got a size 8 and it fits well. I am 5’3 and 145 pounds. I have a size 34D chest. A 6 would have been a tight fit.

The material is loose and not as nice as other Babton dresses. Bigger all around than other dresses. I usually wear a 2 but this one is too large in the hips, bust, shoulders and does not hug my legs.

pretty thick fabric, good quality! a little awkward fitting in some areas—neckline gives shoulder area some gaps

I'm typically a size 2 (s) in Aritzia for tops, but for dresses, I am in between size 2-4.
After seeing the reviews, I decided to stick with a size 2, and I'm glad I did! The top part of the dress is fairly structured, so it definitely would have looked weird if it was too big.

The material is stretchy and comfortable. It's the perfect basic black dress for work events! I would highly recommend this!

Great fit for my regular sized boobs and butt. I got a 0 which is my normal size but since covid I’ve gained some weight. But it fits. Great neck line. No where to wear it to but great neckline, classic little black dress with a little collar bone action.

I wear a 32dd & typically a 6 in jeans and got a 6 - so flattering! hugs you in the right places. arms are a bit big but overall a very beautiful dress

I have ordered this dress 3 times in 3 different sizes and a 4 is still a bit big on me ! Even though I'm usually a 4 in tops, im almost always a 6 on the bottom, so I usually buy dresses a size up. However this dress in a size 4 definitely fits more like a 6 all around. It's super cute on and I have decided to keep the sze 4 because it fits my 40" hips well, however I will have to have it altered in the middle section to accommodate my 34"bust and 32" ribcage. The dress is definitely meant for someone taller or bustier but is so cute im willing to make it work!
