The Joni High Rise Loose 29L

I don’t know what is up with the denim…give us some stretch. These jeans go straight up, if you have curves these are just not flattering. If you like looking like you’re built like a brick then these jeans are perfect for you.

Best jeans I’ve ever owned.

I’m 5’2” and got them in the 26 length. Perfect full length pants.

I am 5’6 120lbs and got the 32L in size 24 (I’m usually a size 26) for my disproportionately long legs. They fit literally perfect and are so flattering. Only pair of jeans I need.

I have the Joni High Rise Loose in multiple colors and love the light wash, but I've found the darker the denim, the tighter the fit. I sized down in the Eyeliner color (because I had to size down in the lighter washes, like most people also did), but I can't fit in them! Just a warning if you're looking at the darker washes, but besides the sizing they are great quality and I love the style.

Love these jeans. I went down two sizes in them. They have the perfect amount of stretch. They are my most comfortable pair of jeans that I own. Bought them in black as well.

Fit everywhere, except major gapping in the waist

Excellent quality and fits how I wanted it to! Loose fit everywhere (unlike the arlo which is just loose in the leg). Definitely go 1-2 sizes down if you want the waist to fit snugly. The 26” was also the perfect length. Came down a bit past my ankles (I’m 5”2)

Love these jeans. Have been looking for a pair like this for a while. The leg is not too wide, they’re pretty similar to the agolde pinch waist ones. I had to size down from my regular size. For reference I normally wear size 0-2, I’m 5’5 and 115 lbs.

Fit is lovely, colour is nice - a bit of a weird smell off the fabric. Overall happy.

Love the Joni! This is my second pair. I had to go up two sizes in the black.

Jeans are made very well, the issues I had with them were that they were too long on my body type. Switched out for another pair that are a bit shorter and they fit perfectly!

really liked these when i first put them on but unfortunately after about an hour of wear they bagged out and were not flattering! i guess i would recommend sizing down because your true size loses its shape so much

Perfect non skinny jean. Stylish and comfortable. Runs a little bit large. I can be a 27 or even a 28. Got the 26 as per other reviews. Fits great; maybe a tad small in my hips when I sit down (I have a big bum 🤣).

These are my favorite jeans, so. flattering and stylish. I would recommend sizing down, I am 5'6 138 and the 26 in this style fits perfectly.

I do really like these jeans, but I have two qualms with them:

1) They lose their shape fairly quickly, after a few wears. This is just how it is with a higher elastane content. It's a tradeoff for more comfort (and these are very comfortable). Just beware of that! They do immediately return to their normal shape when washed or steamed, however.

2) They run VERY large. I am normally a size 28 in jeans and had to size down to a 26 for a snug fit (which I prefer). If you like a roomier waist, I would recommend sizing down only once. If you want that cinched waist look, definitely go down two sizes.

Otherwise, I like them. Love the cut, love the wash (I have Picture This Bleu) and LOVE that they come in a 32" inseam. They are the perfect full-length jean on me, without bagging on the ground.

For reference, I have a straighter body type (not curvy and don't have a very defined waist), so while these fit me quite well, I can only speak for my own body type!

Really love this cut. Makes everywhere look amazing but still the most comfortable pair of jeans I own. Usually a 25 or 26 in jeans, and went for a 24 for the Joni for a fitted look. In the Farrah cut, I wear a 25.

Love the style and the wash but unfortunately, they are too big. I got a 24, on the recommendation to size down in this style. For reference, I wear a 25 in the "Farrah" style and those fit perfectly, so I thought the 24 would be perfect. The 24s are too big to justify keeping. I would have to size down further, to a 23 but there were none left. I didn't expect this because I never wear a 23, I would definitely try on in store but if it is not possible, consider sizing down twice. For reference, I am 110 lbs and have a 25.5" waist.

I think this is the first review I've ever left because these jeans deserve it. I'm very picky with fit and wash but these jeans are just perfect. I'm 5'2 with a curvy body - i typically wear a size 26 and tailor the waist. I bought these in picture this bleu size 26W26L - they fit perfect and the wash is a nice medium to dark blue. I could've gone down a to a size 25W26L if I wanted a tighter fit, but I love the way the 26 sits. PLEASE release the 26L in more colours (white and black eyeliner)!!!

I have the hardest time finding a pair of pants that will fit my waist and my thighs, but these jeans fit the bill perfectly. For someone with a small waist and bigger thighs, It has more of a mom jean fit than baggy 90s look. It does run one size big, I'm usually a 25 and I got a 24, I'm 120lb and 5'6. These pants are worth the money 100%.

They fit true to size. I’m going to buy another pair because I love them so much!

modern loose fit. larger thighs may need to size up for that baggy look and get tailoring for the waist, but better than most jeans in this area.

I am obsessed with these jeans. I loved the look of the 29L ones but I knew I wouldn't like how long they are on me. I'm a little under 5'5" and jeans longer than 28" always hit my feet which I don't like. I was so excited to see the 26L that I ordered them immediately. I'm 125 lbs and have a larger butt proportionally -- I got my normal size 24 and they honestly fit perfect. I wore them to eat a big dinner and I sat on the floor playing board games all night, they didn't bag out at all. I'm a 24 in the Levi's Wedgie Straight jeans which are definitely tighter, but these definitely aren't as huge as I expected based on other reviews! My only wish is that Aritzia would make all the 29L color options in the 26L fit!! I would buy every single pair

Ran quite large and big gap at the back

Love the look of these. They are super comfortable. They do loosen up even more as you wear them in. I needed to size down significantly (2 sizes). I returned the 29L and got the 26L for a cropped look and it’s super flattering.

The fabric, the fit and colour are perfect.
The more you wear them, the better they become.

I love love these jeans! I was hesitant buying the 29L and initially purchased the 26L. Unfortunately those say on me weird, and I decided to try the 29L and they were perfect. So easy to throw on with some sneakers, and you can dress up with a blazer as well. I had to size down 2 sizes as well to a 23, I’m usually a 25 in most denim.

I sized down a size in these because they are a looser fit. But I love the color and the denim is great!

Love Denim Forum but these are not my favorite. Fit HUGE (I am a 27ish, but purchased a 25. Could fit a 24!) and have little if any stretch (for reference I am 5 4, 128 lbs, with bigger hips/butt and smaller waist). They are pretty high rise, but wish they were higher. The first time I ordered them, one of the buttons broke and fell off right away - had to return and replace them. The denim is so stiff it’s hard to do up the buttons!

Kept them because I like the color and distressing.

Very comfy and cute. Fit slightly larger than other non- stretch denim. I’m usually a 27 in skinny jeans & 28 when there’s less stretch and I was a 27 in these. Love the jeans! Plan to buy in another wash too.

I honestly love these jeans, the only only problem I have with them is they stretched out so much that there’s a gab at the back of my waist. I would’ve gone a size down but they would’ve been too tight for my thighs. I recommend sizing down a couple times

Fit way too big and not cute

The jeans are nice quality material but the fit is all off. I decided to size down as per the reviews but the size down was still too big. If I sized down any further they would not have fit correctly as the waist seems to pucker at the back. Just an overall awkward fit. Unfortunately I had to return them :(

I am 5"4, 136 lbs, 34 B bra, I am a size S in Aritzia babaton tops, size 27 (4) in all Zara jeans and usually fit fine in size 26 or 26/27 waist jeans or or size 4 in pants, shorts, skirts etc from other brands..

I had originally ordered the Blondie Bleu shade in 25 waist, 29 length. They were too tight, if i sat down I could def feel the waistband digging into my stomach and around my hips it looked tight/not cute as well. The length was good I think, it scrunched up slightly on the bottom/touched the top of my foot. Definitely floor length. Looked good in 2/5-3 inch heeled boots.
I returned and ordered the same shade in a size 26 waist and 29 length. The 26 is one index finger too big on each side of my waist. It looks loose on the crotch area, I can't decide if that honestly looks okay or just too big on that area as well. They also stretch out a bit, so they're even more loose. The 25's would've still been too tight, even after being stretched out a bit. Do you see my point in how off the sizing on these jeans is? I'm going to either have to sell them or spend even more money getting them tailored.

The sizing is SUPER off on all denim forum jeans from my experience. This isnt my first purchase, return, exchange for the Joni High Rise Loose jeans. Really disappointed as these jeans are pricey, you'd expect the fit to be a little better but tbh it's such a gamble. The shades are AMAZING and they're super cute/chic but having to choose between a very obviously tight/digging into your stomach waistline OR loose jeans that you'll have to then tailor to fit you properly.. is it really worth it? IMO and experience, not really. Wish I could've returned them and the return time window wasnt so short for the black friday sale.

One of the best pairs of denim I own! So comfy while being high quality (you get your money's worth!). Purchased the 26 length in "Picture This Bleu" which was perfect for my height and has a beautiful wash. Needed to size down one size but, fits perfectly! Also, love that aritzia offers different lengths! Would highly recommend!

These jeans are literally incredible. I have other denim forum jeans and these are my favourite by far. They fit fantastic (size down 1 size from your normal). The length is everything! I struggle to find jeans long enough and the 32 length is GREAT for me! Highly recommend, I have been getting so many compliments on how flattering these are!

I bought the full length after falling in love with the shorts version. A great pair of jeans my normal size fits great. I sized up from what the reviews said and they were too large i ended up exchanging. Just wish they had different inseam options for tall ladies like me - 6'0'

These jeans are made pretty big. I'm usually a size 25-26 in Levi's ribcage jeans (sizing varies depending on the color), but I bought a size 23 in these and they aren't snug around the waist or crotch area. I like them nonetheless since they give me enough space to tuck a sweater in, plus they're comfortable. The 29'' is the perfect length for me, it looks great with sneaks! I'm 168cm and 112lbs if that helps. Also, I don't have curves but these gave me hips and made my butt stand out for some reason. I will certainly buy the Joni high rise in more colors. Love them and cannot recommend them enough!

Love the length and relaxed fit. They’re a diet leg without being “wide leg”, ya know? Only complaint is that they stretch out more than other denim forum jeans (I have 3 other pairs on my closet and they’re all true to size). I’ll get these taken in at the waist to fit properly. Honestly at the price point I’m not even mad, but room for improvement for the next style!

I am usually a 24 and I had the get the 23 taken in.

I'm 5'7, mid-130's lbs. I'm usually a 28, sometimes a 27, and I got these in a 26W 32L. The crotch area is on the tighter side but I expect these to loosen up according to the reviews. I like my jeans tight and fitted around the waist and butt, so I sized down twice, but size down once if you want something already loose and don't want to go through the breaking in stage. These hit my shoes just right, so if you're taller and are going for the relaxed, slightly slouchy, cool-girl look, definitely get the 32L. The light-medium wash Picture This Bleu is gorgeous and easy to coordinate.

the 26L jean was perfect for my height! i’m 5’3 and usually jeans are too long for me but these ones were perfect. the fit is absolutely adorable and so nice to style.

Love these jeans - I found that they fit pretty big, I usually order a size 26 in my jeans , however, I needed to drop down to a 24 for this pair. I am 5'3 and 124lbs. The jeans do stretch out a little so if you want them to be tighter, I would suggest washing them/throwing them into the dryer.

The cut is so flattering and relaxed. Who knew something so comfortable would look so good. Super versatile style. Love them! Number one closet go-to.
