new classic mini dress

I'm usually a 4 in aritzia but this dress fits a bit strange. Unfortunately got it on sale and no return.

This is the A-line silhouette dress of my dreams! I'm not a huge fan of the current trend of cottage-core ruffles and really loose dresses, so I was really stoked to get this dress on sale. The fabric is nice and thick but not too warm, and I'd be comfortable going without a bra. It fits well in the waist and hits mid-thigh, which is always a concern for me since I'm tall. My measurements are 35-28-39 and a size 8 fit me perfectly. I can't wait to wear it on its own or with a t-shirt bodysuit underneath this summer.

Perfect fit, I am a size 00 and it fits me right from chest, to waist, to my curves.

This is the first dress I've boughten off Artitzia and wasn't sure about sizing. According to the size guide, I was exactly a 0 but the reviews said it fit smaller. Good thing I listened because there's no way I would have fit in a 0. Fits amazing and it's so flattering. I would definitely size up.

Loved the length/ pattern and fit! I wish they had more options in terms of colour because I would definitely buy more !!

I love this dress. I originally tried it on when it was full price but waited for it to go on sale before I bought it. It is really good quality with a nice lining. I am 5'10" with an hourglass shape with 41'' hips and the 10 fit me perfect with some room to move. I do have a longer torso and it was still long enough. Looks great on its own or with a t-shirt underneath for a 90s vibe. Easy to dress up or down with this, now that I have it I realise I would have been willing to pay full price!

So good! This dress instantly made me feel really chic and cute at the same time. Thankfully the fit was perfect. I'm 5'5" and 120 lbs, with wider shoulders and chest but narrower hips (34C bust, 28.5 in waist, and 34 inch hip). I ordered my usual size 6 and it fit me like a glove. Definitely plan to dress it up a little with a blazer and some tall boots and wear it into work, or wear it out on its own once the weather is warmer for brunch dates.

I have the older version of this dress. For some reason, the bust fitting is off in this one. I ended up returning it. Good quality and cute dress though. Too bad it did not fit right like the older version.

I usually wearing a size 8 in other Aritzia dress and this one is too small for me. And the chest area is way too small and I'm a 34D. So if you have a big chest think twice before you buy it.

Material is so high quality. Need to wear with heels for short girls, because the dress kind of looks boxy without them.

Dress print was gorgeous. However it did not fit right in the chest area (I'm 34 DD) and it was loose, even after adjusting the straps. It also folded weirdly around the waist area. It's sad that happened because I really liked the dress.

Such a cute dress and it fits perfectly! It comes in at the waist a little which looks very flattering. Straps are also adjustable. I’m 5’5 and 115 pounds and usually between a size 0 and 00. I got it 0 so there is some room to layer a thin sweater under it.

As other reviewers mention, it has room in the bust, which works for busty ladies. I am usually an 8 but had to size up to a 10 which just barely fit zipping up to my waist. I am 148 lbs, 28 size jeans. Looks great with a long sleeve to wear inside.

Overall very nice - fabric and stitching is good and I love wearing it! However, I found that it is pretty tight around my waist and loose around the chest area.

Oh, how I wanted to love this! The fabric is nice (true to Aritzia form, but the zipper feels a bit delicate). I ordered it in the 'Vinland/Espace Ovrpld' color and I had this lovely idea that I'd toss it on with a black duster, turtleneck, tights, and boots.

The package came to my home quickly and I *attempted* to put it on right away. I tried to pull this dress up over my hips, but it felt like I was trying to shimmy into an 00. I tried pulling it down over my chest and then over my hips that way - no dice. Granted, I'm built like a coke bottle.

Whenever I shop at Aritzia, I buy a 6, or if it's on the lettered-size scale, I go between S and M depending how I want things to fit.

I'm giving it 4 stars, because if it had fit me, I would have loved it. I would have gotten a lot of wear out of it this fall.

If you have curves, consider sizing up. I wanted this to fit like a shift dress since it's a mini, so if I were to exchange it, I think I'd skip the 8 and opt for a 10.

I'm not super curvy (a 32C and 25-26 waist) so this fit my waist but was pretty loose in the chest area. I feel like you need to have an hourglass figure or be blessed in the chest area for this dress to fit well.

I got this dress in the Lt Beige/Espace Plaid color - the pattern is beautiful and subtle (as per the photos). I often have difficulty finding dresses at Aritzia that fit me well, but this dress was a keeper!

OVERALL FIT (size 0): I'm 5'2", 24" waist, and A-cup. I LOVE the length (it's not too long nor short, hits about mid-thigh) and the dress hugs my waist/hips without being too tight. A petite girl's dream! However, my boobs are too small for the bust area - it's not visibly apparent in the photos, but the bust of the dress is shaped/sewn similar to bustiers, just not as rigidly. This area is noticeably empty when I wear the dress, but when worn with a cardigan, it isn't as obvious :). If you're petite and have larger boobs, this dress will fit you AMAZINGLY!!

Very cute but weird fit. More than enough room in the chest, but a very tight waist. Fits fairly short. Great material and overall look.

good quality runs small

Really comfy, had adjustable straps and the elastic back means it fits nicely on the top as well. It's lined and is good quality thick material. Enough structure that it doesn't fly up in the wind or anything! I love it.

My usual size fits me a little tighter than it looks on the model but that’s perfect cause I wanted it to be a more fitted look, size up if you want it to be more relaxed like on the model! Other wise looks super cute with a baby tee underneath!

Great slim fit, not too tight but shows off your figure. There’s some room in the chest area so if you’re small chested like me, it looks best filled out wearing a strapless bra or a stick on bra.

I love this dress so much, It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. The length was a bit on the shorter side which gave it a more sexy feel, but with tights I felt it wasn't to short not to be appropriate to wear. The dress fits true to size.

Bought for my teen daughter. Definitely for slim ladies. Not skin tight tho better to upsize for breathing/eating room. For smaller-busted ladies, size 2 is better fit than 4. Adjustable straps mean no costly alterations. Princess seam accentuates small waist and A-line skims hips. Has lining tho still have to be strategic with underwear. Dress up or down with booties, heels, sandals or sneakers. So cute!

The quality of the dress was super cute and the length is perfect (I’m 5’7 and it wasn’t too short). Unfortunately I’d recommend this dress to ladies who have a bigger bust as there is a big poofyish area for ur boobs to go and 32A me had to pin the sides, even though I sized down :(

If you're on the fence about this dress - go for it! It fits perfectly, showing off your figure without being skin tight. It's also not super short which is a blessing for a tall girl. Absolutely love the 90s vibes. I got the gold/beige/black check so I could wear it all seasons - on it's own in the spring/summer and with a turtleneck underneath in the fall/winter :)

The fabric and style are super wonderful but the fit is really off.

It was too large on the torso and shoulders, and too tight on the waist, so if I sized up, the torso would have been gigantic! There was no give in the waist area.

colour, material and style all amazing. I got a size 2 which i usually am and a size 4 would have been to big it is a little tight at the ribs and loss in the chest but nothing i couldn’t adjust and i absolutely love wearing it!!

the zipper is kind of hard to zip at the waist but once it does it fits. there is room to zip just a tiny bit hard to.

The bust area is kind of tight compared to how the rest of the dress fits on me and it’s not because I’m gifted up there. I may just have a lot of back fat. Other than that it’s perfect.

This is such a perfect dress. It is easily made fancier or more casual, the straps are so cute and minimalistic, the cut is totally flattering. While the back benefits from some nice stretch due to the ruching, and the skirt is A-line enough that it's not too tight on the hips, right where the zipper crosses the seam from skirt to bodice is a little bit stiff. If you're between sizes, you may want to look at a size up from your regular size. That said, there is space to eat, breathe, run around and generally live your life once the dress is on, so it's probably more of a zipper-over-a-seam concern which I'm sure everyone can agree is common in lots of dresses everywhere.
