only slit slip dress

Feels like this dress is made for someone with a small butt and hips. Not made for someone with curves. it'll sit really tight and stretched on the waiste but hang loose everywhere else. Makes the top part of the dress awkward.

I have about 4 versions of Aritzia slip dresses. They're so versatile. Can be styles for all seasons.

It was hard to choose between small and medium. The medium gives me more of a relaxed looked.

Bought this dress before earlier this year and looovvveedd it however picked up a new one and it was sad. Maybe a manufacturing defect? Who knows. It’s a really great silky material. Really great for layering in the colder months. Did not do much for my curves either and hides them instead

Very flattering! I usually like my items a bit bigger, so the size works for me, if you like it a bit tighter fit, try true to your size.

Love the navy color. The slit wasn't as high as I thought it would be (5'2 / 125lbs). I sized down as reviews recommended to an XS. Great fit, except could be a little looser in chest (I have wide shoulders).

So pretty, sent to my friend for her bridesmaids dresses. Slightly larger fit than i expected but the straps are adjustable

This dress is super comfortable and I love the colour! I have the only slip dress (which is my favourite piece in my closet) in a medium, so I got a medium in this slit slip dress but it runs bigger than I thought!

Would highly recommend this dress perfect to dress up or down! But maybe go for a size smaller than you normally are!

I wanted an essential slip dress that I could dress up or dress down- this one works amazing! I am a size small I ordered a size small- but it fit very night gown like and a little looser than id hope so I recommend if you want it to be more form fitting or hip hugging to size down!

Fabric is nice doesn’t cling too closely to the body. Recommend sizing up for looser fit.

Such a lovely dress, the quality is great too. Easy slip on dress and fits comfy. Order your usual size and it will be a tiny bit bigger which is perfect.

Fits perfectly, the slit is a little higher than I personally prefer. An easy couple of home stitches and it’s much more wearable. I love it 🥰

The fit was true to size and the slit hit at just the right area. It complements the figure and fabric hangs beautifully but not restrictive. Great dancing dress!

It has a loose fit but in such a way that it’s effortlessly classy, not baggy. The fabric feels really nice on the skin and it’s not something I’m itching to take off.

It's okay, not the best slip dress, it has a loose fit and if you want to show your body figure, I suggest to size down.

Love this dress. It is slightly boxier at the waist than the only slip dress but still very pretty. I would style it with a belt or something if I want a fitter look.

This has a different fit from the original Only Slip Dress... While the original slip dress slightly hugs your curves, this one is pretty boxy and loose in the midsection, so it looks a little more casual. The neckline is also a pretty wide v-neck, which isn't too flattering on my broad shoulders. The material and colour are still gorgeous, but I don't think I would have gotten this over the original slip if this wasn't on sale

Love the fit and colours it comes in. However, for those with bigger busts like myself, I would have purchased a size up. A Small would have been looser around the whole dress, but wouldn’t be too tight on my bust. If you don’t mind the looser fit, then stick to your regular size!

Amazing dress! Got it in navy as Marmont was out of stock in my size at the moment. I bough XL, it fits amazing. Beautiful neckline and fits great on my large chest (36DD). Love the slit and the fit being not too clingy to stomach area. Wearing it around the house for now but cannot wait to wear it out with nude strappy heels and red lips! Love love love

dress is good quality and colour but very loose. not even in terms of the size but of the design, its very boxy and isnt very flattering. i dont hate it but i will have to alter it.

Other reviews have said to size up since it can be tight in the chest if you're busty, but I'm not (32C) so I kept my regular Aritzia size (M) and it worked perfectly for me! I was worried my waist wouldn't fit into the dress based on the size chart (I'm around 79cm), but when laying the dress flat, it was about 84cm, which makes sense because it looks flowy in the pictures too. Personally, I might get it a little tailored for more shape. Otherwise, I would say the size chart is pretty accurate for the chest and the hips.

The slit starts around 50.5cm from the bottom of the dress and hits me mid thigh, so it's not too high up for my preferences either.

For the fabric, it feels a little less soft than the Aritzia ruffle cami (which is also 100% polyester), but it's not bad either, just different. It feels more like a polyester-cotton blend, but it does look as silky in person though!

The dress is so versatile that you can dress it up or down, and it's definitely going to be a staple in my closet.

All things considered, would I recommend this overall? Absolutely.

Got it in 2 colours. True to size. It's relaxed fit, but the slit makes it elegant. I hope they make more of different colours.

I wanted a nice light slip to sleep in at 40* India. This is it!!

I ordered this in Small and I'm usually a small in Wilfred dresses. If you are D cup like me then the bust fit might not be ideal but I can work with it, personally. I have to wear pasties instead of a strapless bra (or those nude bra stickers if that makes sense). The shape is different from the Only Slip Dress (without the slit), this one is straighter and that one is definitely curvier. I don't have any curves so the dress with no slit gives me a better shape. But overall this is a beautiful dress!

Beautiful color ! But it was really tight in the bust area for me. soooo maybe I’ll just have to wear a knit sweater over it..

I'm 5'5 and 135 pounds, and D size boobs, and the dress fits pretty great! It's a little tight around the boobs but works for me. I love the material, the slip and the adjustable straps. It's loose around the torso, so very comfortable

I bought xxs but it still fits way too big on me. I'll have to get it tailored which sucks. Regardless, marmont is such a pretty color and is perfect for spring/summer.

Love it so much it's my second slip dress. The material stays nice an it's durable. I'm 6 feet tall and wear a size 10. I went for a size large in the dress so the slit doesn't go to high.

I would for the most part say this is true to size but if you are petite and busty, i would suggest sizing up. Im a true xxs but i wish i had gotten a xs in this because the chest is snug when i try to move back my arms back

This dress is the perfect cut and length but I find sizing has been so inconsistent lately. I’m 5,4, 130 pounds and am usually always safe buying a small. This dress fits more like a medium, it is so baggy. Definitely size down in this dress, I should have ordered an xs.

Love the flowyness of it, its not as fitted as the only slip dress, but love the cut out.

This dress does not fit like the regular Only Slip Dress, it fits smaller. I think it's because of the way it's tailored, it falls strangely on the body. I bought it in XXS (the size I have the regular Only Slip Dress in) and I wish I'd just bought my regular size (XS). It's too snug in the thigh area and the slit is stitched in an unflattering way. I'm going to have to get it fully adjusted I think, but I would recommend you get your regular size to avoid the weird fit.

Had to take it to get alterations because if you have boobs you need to size up but then the dress looks super boxy. Hopefully it’ll be better after. Just happy I got it on sale.

This is a great slip dress. It has a nice flowy fit, but beware if you are curvy as it is a bit snug at the hips. The length is great and the material is good quality and not too thin or clingy!

Love the fabric, love the colour, dont love the fit! I found that it fits slightly large, ill have to get it taken in at the waist and bust areas. I bought a size small, im 5'5" and weigh 125!

Been looking for a slip dress of good quality for so long! The dress isn’t thin material, is true to size, and I’m able to dress it up or down! No regrets!!
