501 original short

I own a ton of Levi's shorts, and I find that this particular pair is a more snug fit than other styles. My boyfriend bought me the "Athens" style in size 27, which fit perfectly. I picked up another pair and the 27 was so snug around my hips, I had to return. I find the styles can fit a little differently.

These shorts are very cute and seem to be good quality but if you have any curves definitely size up. I ordered my normal size in all other aritzia pants and they are easily three sizes too small. I would measure and size up accordingly.

The shorts were a bit long for my liking.

Fits is perfection if you aren’t looking for a skin tight fit- little lose in the waist which is great to save some room for food. Distressed just the right amount.

Great fit, not too tight around the thigh and perfect length. Bit of a higher rise in the waist but not too high. Great summer shorts!!

My new favorite shorts! They stretch out a little after you wear them but I still love them.

These shorts fit true to size. They aren't too tight and they're not too short. They look great with a cropped top or a bodysuit. The rise is right up to my bellybutton. I usually wear a tie 24 in Levi's and Levi's shorts. I bought my usual size and they're great.

Love these! Had to size down from my usual 24 in Levi's to the 23 and they fit perfectly in the waist and bum. Just long enough in the back to cover the cheeks. For reference, I"m 5'5", 112lbs, 24" waist, 34" hips and wear a size 24 in the Levi's 501 Short mid-rise denim shorts.

I'm a size 26 in Levi's jeans so I got a 26 in the 501 shorts. The shorts looked amazing, from the wash to the distressing. They had the loose fit that I was looking for but the way the shorts were stitched together created excess fabric that bunched up on the seam that runs down my backside. This created a frumpy and unflattering look. I went to the store to exchange for a smaller size to see if that would be a better fit but the employee informed me that despite the fact that a size 25 was available, they could not order the item to the store if there were less than 10 of that item in stock. Since there were only 7 available size 25 shorts, I was unable to exchange and had to settle for an in-store credit since I purchased them when they were on sale. Hopefully, this will help you get a better understanding of the fit/look of the shorts as well the Aritzia store policy.

This has a 5 button closure rather than zipper fly which I didn't notice because I'm not smart enough to read the description. Super soft/stretchy denim material. The fraying at the bottom looks a little weird but I'm sure this will even out with wear/washing. Very good butt:waist fit, not overly gaping at the top like other high wasted shorts I've tried.

I have NEVER left a review on Artizia clothes before but once I slipped on these Levi's shorts I knew I had too! They fit AMAZING. I have a bubble butt so I have a really hard time finding shorts that don't end up super short and show some cheek. These are the perfect length for me, not to short and not to long! The wash colour is also really great, I know these shorts are going to go with everything. I was worried about the waist size based on earlier reviews. I am normally a 27 in Levi's jeans, and I was going to play it safe and buy a 28 but it was sold out when I bought these so I took a chance with a 27 and boy am I glad I did! They fit true to size it seems, the 27 in shorts fit perfectly like all my Levi's jeans do. Now I need to buy all the colours of these shorts because they are a dream!

These are honestly the best Levi's shorts that I have ever owned! They are so flattering and actually cover your butt! They are really comfortable, fit well, and aren't too tight.
You could probably go down a size if you like them a bit more snug, but I love them as they are!!
I am 5'7, 130 lbs and usually go for a 26 waist.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It’s really hard to find shorts that cover your butt, let alone Levi’s. That’s why I absolutely LOVE these. They’re cut in the front so it gives you a super short look but longer in the back. They fit slightly big, that’s why I sized down. Probably could have gotten an even smaller size.

I’m normally a 26 or 27 in Levi’s depending on the fit and I initially ordered a 27 in these but they had a gap at the waist and weren’t giving me the fitted at the top look I wanted so I went with 26 and am so glad I did. These fit really nicely, I have a butt and these are kind of longer at the back and then the front is frayed and a bit shorter so it draws the eye away from problem areas and completely covers your behind. I would wear these to a casual family BBQ. Most times with high waisted cut offs I feel like my cheeks and thighs are on display but not with these! Don’t get me wrong, they are short but not in an uncomfortable way. I’m 5’6” 136lbs. Highly recommend.

I was a little hesitant ordering these shorts but was pleasantly surprised! They are super cute, high waisted and just relaxed enough in the fit. Love colour too!

It's exactly as pictured! I typically wear size 27 in Denim Forums and Levi's jeans, so i proceeded to order the same.
These shorts fit too perfectly right out of the package for me (e.g. concerns of having to unbutton my shorts after eating too much pizza), but after wearing them out once or twice, the waist stretched slightly, but not enough at all where i'd recommend getting a smaller size.

I love the 501 shorts they're a summer go to for me. These are a little longer so they aren't too too short but they fit very nicely.

These are the most comfortable and flattering pair of shorts. They’re different from the other levi shorts and fit better. I originally ordered a size up because I wanted them to be comfortable, but exchanged for my regular size and they fit perfect while still being decently roomy.

I’m going to size down to 25

Perfect. Not too long or not too short. They fit more like a high-rise than a mid.. which I'm not complaining about. Also, I originally ordered a size 26 (because I thought Levis fit small) but they were too big. I returned for a 25 and they fit still a bit loose in the waist area however, I did not want to go through the hassle of returning and reordering. Don't be like me, and just order the size you usually wear in denim.

I've been looking for comfortable jean shorts that don't ride up and are a good length... these are it!!! i love them and i love how they fit. I'm usually a true size 27 in Levi's and the 27 in these fits perfectly. definitely recommend these.

Levi’s are by far my favorite jean shorts! They get softer with each wear. I decided to size up since I’m 7 months post partum and I’m glad I did! They’re a bit loose around the waist but the perfect length, not too short (for moms who have to bend over for their kids).

Best classic shorts a bit long in the back so your bum isn’t coming out the bottom which is really nice but they are overall short in length don’t get me wrong, perfect length

These cut offs are exactly what I have been looking for or trying to create but have been unable to find until now. Not too short - distressed perfectly. Good color. I did go up a size for a more relaxed vibe. COMFORTABLE

I’m normally a size 29/30 but because I wanted a loose jean short I purchased a 31. They’re loose on legs which I personally prefer.

great quality! perfect length, a tiny bit loose around the waist while fitting thighs/butt perfectly but it’s nothing that can’t be fixed with a belt.

I’m tall and shorts are always waay too short but these are perfect and relaxed. The fit is long enough without being long and bermuda shortish and super comfortable to wear. Super cute cut & colour too.

These shorts are great, not too short, not too ripped and I love the wash. I would recommend going up a size or two though. I have two pairs of Levi’s jeans, both size 26, and I had to get these in a 28.
