These shorts are true to size! A lot of the reviews are saying to size up, but I wouldn't, especially because they're stretchy. PERFECT length. It's so hard to find a pair of shorts that aren't too short or too long. They're also a true high-rise, so they look great with all of the summer crop tops and tanks. 10/10.

Loves these although they’d be better with button fly like the arlo pant. Size up 1-2 sizes. Crazy small fit.

Definitely size up at least one, and possibly 2 sizes unless you like a very tight fit. I'm normally size 28 and a 29 was snug - will maybe even size up to 30. Decent stretch makes them comfy nonetheless, and the length and rise are perfect.

Wish they were tighter between the hips, and less tight at the waist.

I ordered these shorts because I love my Arlo jeans so I was really hoping they would be the same but there are a few significant differences. I loved the length, the rise and the fit in waist and hips looks the same. The thickness of the denim is not the same as the jeans’, the shorts are thinner, which probably won’t be as durable.
I was also hoping for the same buttons the jeans have, but the shorts have a zipper. Overall, I wish I hadn’t paid the full price as they’re not really worth it.

These jeans are well made. I followed the other reviewers' recommendations to go one size up. I wish they were 1-2 inches longer because they do ride up and I hate having to be that girl pulling her shorts down constantly.

Size runs a little small! I sized up as the reviews suggested and I still find my pair to be a little tight, but I still love them!

The black shorts looked exactly as pictured. I ordered in size 29 and 30 - I am 5 3“ and weigh 140 pounds and kept the 29s. My usual weight is 125-130 and I normally wear a 28 in the denim forum jeans (27 in citizens). They are not too short but not too long, high rise and a comfortable fit (not too tight, decent stretch).

I love these short! they fit perfectly and they are stretchy and don't rise! I'm 162 muscular with a smaller waist and curvy legs.

It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE for me to find shorts I love- these changed that for me though! I have a 41.5” hip and a 28” waist and am 6’ tall. Size up one size and thank me later!

I love these shorts!! They are a stretchy jean material which makes wearing jeans shorts so much more comfortable. The length is perfect, long enough so that your thighs won’t chafe and keeps everything in its place! Love the high waist too!! So nice would highly recommend

Love how high waisted they are and they’re the perfect length! I like how they’re a bit longer. They have a good stretch to them but I still got my usual size and they fit perfectly.

Nice super high rise and just enough material on the inseam for a bit of coverage. Works well with cropped style tops.

Fabric and quality was great. They were too tight on the waist for me.

I probably should of purchased one size down which would of been true to size for me, but I wanted a more comfortable look. Since it is a high waisted short and I have a small waist and curves, I do find the shorts slip up because of the extra room on the waist line. However, they don’t look like they are slipping up, I can just feel it. The denim looks so good, I get many compliments when I wear them.

I love these so much. They are a bit longer than normal shorts which I love because they make the thighs look great. High waist is amazing... accentuates the waist and makes my body look way better than any other shorts I own.
I am normally a 27 and got a 28 - definitely the right call. So comfortable

Fit is true to size. Only gave the smallest bit once worn and was glad since they were good and snug. Love the length not too long or short and super comfy. For reference in 5’5 and 125lb. I have lean legs and not super wide hips but not super skinny either. Very average. Buttons to just above my belly button.

Based on other reviews I purchased the shorts in one size up from my typical size, and they’re perfect. Snug but not uncomfortably so, nice and high waisted, and the length is just what I was looking for. They’re short shorts but not so short that my butt is hanging out. For reference I’m 5’3.5”.

I’m a 28 in all my denim forum jeans including ex-bf shorts but these I had to size up 2 sizes. I have bigger thighs so the 30 fits my legs and I had to get the waist taken in a bit.

Love how the shorts look on me. However, it is a little too tight on the stomach area so I don't know if I can go for food or sit down wearing this out and about.

These are super cute! Quite high-waisted on me, like past my belly button, but I don’t hate the look. The fabric is fairly stretchy and feels like it would be comfy to wear all day. They are long enough that my bum does not hang out the back which I appreciate - modest enough to wear as a decently nice outfit, but cute enough to wear casually. I think I could have gotten away with the 28, but the 29 is comfortable.

I normally wear a 26 in the arlo jeans and I didn't want the shorts to be quite as tight as my jeans so I went with the 27 and the fit is perfect. Just the right length and perfect stretch. I'm really happy with this purchase. I'm 5'5 and 127 lbs for reference.

These are fantastic. Hands down my favourite purchase and best pair I’ve ever owned. I could have gone a size down but I think they look great.

I’ve noticed with Denim Forum there jeans fit slightly tighter. I’m normally a size 25 but with this brand I have learned to get one size up! The shorts fit . At the back there is a slight lip sticking off but not too much so I think it’s fine ! I’d also like to say that I’m a 25 in AGOLDE brand denim from Aritzia but 26 in the Denim Forum. So if you know what size you are in the AGOLDE brand get one size up from that! The fort and colour of the shorts is nice they cover your bum so you don’t feel too showy but they aren’t super long either. It’s the perfect length!

I ordered these shorts because they appeared to be dark black on the website. Instead, I received washed black shorts that are closer to black-grey than solid black. The "denim forum" tag on the back of the shorts is black when it is shown to be brown in the website's image. The picture is nothing like what the shorts look like in person.

I bought these in a size 26 - I should have bought them a size up as I have gained a bit of weight. I hope they restock these shorts! I love the length, not too short and love the high waist. These are very flattering on my body.

I bought the same size I buy for the Arlo jeans and I definitely should have sized up. I have a larger bum and hips so maybe that’s why - but these shorts ride and roll up soooo much. Literally only wore them 2x this summer. So disappointing.

Beautiful shorts. I want to get the pants now. They are super comfy and with a great stretch. I love how soft the material is. They are a bit snug and fit a bit tighter. I would have been happier with a 27 but will survive in a 26. For reference I am usually a size 26, 115lbs, and 5’2 with an athletic build.

Really love this short. I did go up a size just in case and it fits snug but it's good

I ordered online and got a size up for these shorts, fits comfortably at the hips, but is a bit large at the waist. Because of that, they don't stay in place, and ride up quite a bit which feels uncomfortable. Best to try in store.

Love this short, perfect lenght, covers everything that needs to be covered. Super high waist. I tried many brand before and this one is by far my favorite. I’m size 24 and I bought a 24.

I really liked the fabric and stretch in the short however I wished they were longer. I thought they’d be longer like I’m the picture.

I’m a size 29 in my usual denim brands ( Citizens, 7 for All Mankind, J Brand) however, had to order these shorts in a size 31. The length is good, not super short and the rise is quite high which keeps everything in. The denim is not very soft or stretchy though. The material is actually quite thick.

First time buying this brand and the fit is amazing!
