I like baggy pants, but being 5'3" and pear shaped, it can be a little challenging to find something that isn't overwhelming and doesn't look awkward/ill-fitting. It's hard to tell how something will look on me based on the models because of course everything looks great on them! I took a chance on these though because I love anything in the Ashen color. I normally wear a 6 in Aritzia pants, but I decided to go a size up on these and get the 8. SO GLAD I DID. They fit like they do on the model! Yesss! They look effortless and baggy, yet still neat and not sloppy. That's a delicate balance! Lol. They sit low on my hips and don't cling (that was super important) and they make my legs look longer (unexpected bonus). I don't need a belt, which is great because I kind of hate belts lol. As far as length, they puddle a little on me, but that was to be expected. They won't drag if I wear my chunky sneakers. But something streamlined like a chuck taylor or samba...yeah, they will overwhelm them and drag on the ground if you're petite. A flatform or chunky sneaker would be best if you're under 5'5".
