These are pleated shorts with a wide leg and a darted back waist for shaping. They’re expertly tailored with (Re)ssential — softly structured stretch fabric that holds its form while you move easy. This fabric is sourced from a premier Portuguese mill and made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose — responsibly sourced, wood-based fibres produced through a process that reduces impact on forests, biodiversity and water supply.

A summer staple
These are a summer staple for me. I picked them up in the grey and a few weeks later (after wearing them multiple times!) I ordered the navy. They're easy to wear and can be dressed up or down. The bermuda length makes them a great option for summer office events, or a go-to for a night out. I ordered my usual size 2 (am sometimes a 4 depending on the fit - I wear a 2 in the effortless pants) and they hit me at my bellybutton. If I wanted a lower rise I would have needed to size up to a 4, but as a petit person, I prefer the length of the leg when they sit a little higher.

Lovely structure
AMAZING. The re-essential fabric is super structured so this retains it's shape nicely. I like how thick the material is as it looks more professional. The waist is a bit loose on me but I think that works if you're going to tuck in thick oxford shirts, etc. Otherwise I would size down! For reference, my waist is 26 inches and I ordered a size 4.
