slip satin maxi skirt

It’s a nice skirt, but it is kinda tight on the waist and hips, so be wary if you have a tummy + hips. I hate the branding being added to popular pieces, it cheapens the look.

I highly, highly recommend this stunning maxi skirt. The feel and the hang/flow of the fabric is perfect. I love it so much!! The Goddess dress did not fit my pear shape. Thankfully this satin skirt in black is making me feel feminine and sexy. I feel like a Goddess wearing this skirt. I have to get another one, but which colour?!

i absolutely love this skirt. i'm 5'1" and it's the length of a true maxi skirt (goes all the way down to my ankles but doesn't touch the floor). the waistband isn't that stretchy though!

True to size but I sized up to a 6 so I could comfortably tuck tops in the waist without it looking bulky. I’m short but it hit right mid shin which was perfect.

I'm normally a size 2 in dresses in all other brands, i got this in a size 4 and its just the tiniest bit snug on the elastic but it isn't a problem for me

Although the fabric has gotten thinner over the years, I keep coming back to these slip skirts in darker colors. They're a classic piece to have in a wardrobe. Throw on a white tee, tube top, sleeveless blouse, vest, or bodysuit and it looks fabulous. I have an athletic build and found it to be TTS.

I bought the skirt for a wedding this Fall. Needed to size up twice. Definitely made for more of an apple shape and not a pear shape. Waist is now a loose, but at least I don’t feel such tightness across the hips.

The material felt excellent but the way it was sewn made it sit really oddly and gave my silhouette the appearance of a big stomach. I even exchanged for a size down thinking that would do the trick but same thing. Really disliked how it sat and the shape it gave me. I wanted to love it but ended up hating it.

Too high waisted for me, didn’t like the elastic waist that didn’t sit flat. Ordered one size up so that I could wear it lower on my hips but it didn’t work. I’d say this runs at least one size smaller. Beautiful fabric and colour but the fit just didn’t work for me. For reference, my usual size is a 4, I’m 5’6 and 115 lbs.

I have a midi slip skirt from Aritzia from a couple of years ago in a size 4 and it still fits me. I just bought a size 6 in this one and the elastic is so tight that it's unflattering. I also don't like that they added this embroidered "B" crest on the back of the skirt. It looks cheesy.

Loved how it fit around my waist (especially because I’m super petite) the band is stretchy and the length was perfectly at my ankles.

What did you do to my favourite skirt! The Maxi this year is at least 2 inches longer than last year’s. This forces me to choose a smaller size which doesn’t fit well anymore. I loved the length of the old regular fit skirt. Why change a winner!

I bought it onlinr to wear out for an event and I love it. Fits well, super comfortale and easy to walk around in. Im 5’5 and the legnth was perfect for me.

This skirt is true to size. I love the fabric and flow of it. Being new to Aritzia, I have had to get used to the sizing. I would say this is true to size. It can be dressed up with a jacket for work and dressed down with tennis shoes and a tank.

Love this skirt- very versatile piece and fairly flattering on my inverted triangle body type! I think the price is a bit high for the material you're getting but its worth it for me since I'll be getting a lot of wear out of it :)

looks gorgeous, however, it had static cling fast, if you walk about 2 mins by wearing this. Color is great.

The fabric is nice and the champagne color is pretty but it is slightly see through. Also warning to those with a small waist and big butt - there is fabric that will bunch at the top near the waist band… making the skirt look pretty cheap. Overall this skirt is definitely not worth the money.

It is longer than I expected - luckily I just rolled the waist band a few times to make it a true midi on my short frame.

I bought the midnight blue color and I absolutely love it. Not usually a skirt girl but this one is great and can be dressed up or down.

The quality of the material, the color (Midnight blue), the fit…everything!!! It’s a nice staple to have. For reference, I’m 5’9 and I took size 6.

I bought the green color which I don’t usually wear or enjoy, but when it came I fell HARD. The color is actually so gorgeous and the satin fabric makes it look like it’s made from liquid emeralds. I bought it cause it reminded me of Ariel’s mermaid tail and it did not disappoint. I’ll usually buy anywhere from size 4-8 from this store and the size 6 is perfect. I cannot wait to wear it on vacation in a couple weeks!

These kinds of skirts are hit or miss -- I usually need to try them on because sometimes the waist is too tight or the cut is odd and doesn't flow in a flattering way. These are well designed in both regards. The elastic waist is forgiving enough that it doesn't cut into my side, and the overall silhouette is flattering. The only problem with these skirts is that the fabric wrinkles easily and you have to be careful how you sit in them to prevent wrinkling, but that is the nature of the fabric. I sometimes wear 4, 6 or 8 depending on the style and cut of a skirt, and for this skirt the 6 works great.

Second slip skirt I’ve purchased because I loved the first one. Colour is gorgeous! Made well. Fits a little tighter than the first one I bought even though they are both size 4.

This skirt is amazing! I bought it in 2 colors but especially love this color! It dresses up in so many ways - as a casual skirt with a sweater, with a holiday sequined t shirt, and even with a suit jacket. It is extremely flattering and versatile! I bought my daughter one for her birthday in December and we both found it a great asset over the holidays.

The length of the skirt is in between maxi and midi, so not a true maxi, but perfect length for short to average height. The dark green color is a very rich green, slightly darker in person than online photo. I’m 5’4” 123lb, normally a size 0 or 2 in aritzia, bought the size 2 which is perfect, if wearing high waist, it hits slightly above the ankle.

I wanted to love this skirt, but there was extra fabric bunching on my lower back which made it look very unflattering. I do have a small waist and large bum, so I just don't think the design was altered for curvy bodies in the larger sizes. Will be returning.

I have a pair of the mini skirt in this style but I was expecting this to be an actual maxi skirt. It fits more like a midi skirt then a maxi maybe it's because I'm a bit taller, hopefully they'll put in a "Taller" option in the future sadly had to return it.

It fits me perfectly when I wear the waist over my belly. I wear it with the jean waist-coast from aritzia as well. I got a lot of compliments.

This is must have items. I am so happy that I finally find a brand that have my size.

The skirt is cute and hangs well when its steamed, the only thing i'll say is that it definitely isn't a maxi skirt, it fits more like a midi. Even when on my hips it hangs to my mid-calf, so if you're looking for proper maxi I would try it on in store first, otherwise its very cute :)

I ordered this skirt in black, I am 5’0” and 25” waist, 36” hips. Size 2 fit well. It only comes down to right above my ankles so if you’re taller than me I wouldn’t call this a true full length maxi skirt. It also smells strange, almost like a forest/the outdoors. I read the tag that it’s made out of wood fibers so maybe that’s where the smell is coming from. I’m hoping after I get it dry cleaned it will get rid of the smell.

I debated writing this but this skirt is a total waste of money. I purchased the denude colour and it is totally sheer. I was so disappointed and i wish i had splurged a little more and gotten the reformation one.

Was ver excited to get this skirt, only to be thoroughly disappointed in the fabric and fit of the skirt. Fabric seems very cheap considering the price. Also poorly tailored and noticed lots of extra fabric on the back near the top of the waste band. It seems like Aritzia’s quality has gone down over the past couple years and it’s very disappointing

I like the style but it is so sheer. It see through. For $100 is not cheap and the fabric to see through my ass . I was very disappointed. Please improve the quality of the fabrics.
