This is a strapless maxi dress with a bias cut for an exceptionally flattering drape. It's made with Mirror Crepe™ — Babaton’s essential crepe fabric with a soft drape and silky satin back. This fabric is sourced from an innovative Japanese mill and made with wood-based fibres from responsibly managed forests with a focus on protecting ecosystems and providing social benefits for local communities.

Dark colours weren't see through on me! Found that there was extra fabric around the waist so sized down and the fit was really nice. I tend to be on the curvier side and there dress is flattering (but not tight) around my waist and bum. Overall, love.

Had to return - entirely sheer!!!
Absolutely beautiful dress and shape; unfortunately, it is entirely sheer. I bought the sea foam green colour thinking I’d be lucky as the previous poor reviews I read were about the light birch colour… but nope. I should have caught that fact that you can even see the band of the top of the dress in the website photos. Even with full shape wear and pasties the slightest movement or seam shift and it’s all over. Very disappointed Wilfred. You used to be so amazing :(

not for big chests or petite girls, but otherwise quite nice
this dress is absolutely not made for anyone with a small waist + a cup size bigger than A/B. where the waist fits, the chest will not and vice versa. usually when i see a 2XS or XS, i’d assume that the length would be better for petite girls, but with this dress it was still quite long as the 2XS & XS are more meant for skinnier girls of average height. i’ve definitely noticed lately that aritzia’s smaller sizes cater to average height girls who are skinny, rather than for smaller girls as one would think a 2XS/XS would be for.

i really wish aritzia would make clothes, especially dresses, that accommodate those with small waists and larger chests. and to also include short lengths for their midi/maxis. to be fair, they’re behind on inclusive sizing since they just started offering curve fit (even if it’s just on a select few styles).

So see through
I got the birch colour and it’s a pretty dress but it is so see through. I even found a slip to wear under it and you could see every little thing. For such a pricy dress, you’d think they would put a decent lining in it. Wouldn’t recommend the birch colour. Even the orange colour was pretty see through.

Completely sheer and poorly made
I bought this as a graduation dress and was extremely disappointed. While the cut and length were beautiful, it bubbled at the side with the zipper and the darts on the sides were uneven. It was also completely sheer. No undergarment could fix it. It's sad to see the poor quality and craftsmanship of an almost $200 dress.

Colour not as described
This was a beautiful dress however it is not forgiving. For anyone over the age of 40 I would recommend shapewear! Also it was described as a “red” but it was most definitely orange. Beautifully made however and although I returned would be lovely on the right body type (like if you’re a model and only have 2% body fat).

Beautiful Timeless Dress
The dress was beautiful but I returned it. The zipper on the side bubbled a little so I could have gone down a size but then I knew it would tighter on my stomach and bum, something I wasn’t comfortable with.
