new kahlo robe

I recently purchased the Kahlo Robe, and it is my favorite piece for adding style to formal or semi-formal looks. This is my third robe (I've two more in different colors).The
Robe has a sleek, sophisticated design, with a tailored silhouette that’s flattering but still comfortable. It’s made from a good quality material which provides excellent warmth without feeling heavy or bulky and can be worn in fall and spring too!

One of the best features is the belt, which adds a polished, cinched-waist look, making it easy to dress up or down depending on the occasion. The length is perfect—it falls just below the knee, which adds a refined touch while keeping me warm. I’ve worn it over everything from business suits to evening dresses, and it elevates the entire outfit effortlessly. I pair it with both Eastern and Western outfits.

The deep pockets are both practical and discreet, and I appreciate that the inner lining is smooth, making it easy to layer over different fabrics without bunching. The color is rich and has a subtle sheen, adding to the coat’s luxe feel. I’ve also gotten quite a few compliments on it, which is always a bonus!

Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase. It’s a timeless piece that feels and looks like it will last for years. Highly recommend if you’re looking to invest in a quality, versatile formal coat.

Easy to maintain material and very nice for someone taller. Great staple to mix and match for a casual and formal look.

I’m 5’8.5 and 175lb, 42-33-42. I typically wear an L or XL at Aritzia. I ordered the XL and the fit is perfect! The weight, length, drape, and texture are just gorgeous. I feel like a million bucks in this coat (and the other pieces I picked up at the same time). I’m in love, and thinking about getting it in another colour as well.

I love how it fits and the quality and material is great.

I love this jacket. I have it in 3 colours and it goes with everything. Wear it with a dress, skirt, shorts, pants you name it. Fabric is a silky crepe and washes great too. Fits true to size.

I really liked the material and style of the kahlo robe. Fit was TTS as well. As this robe seems to be a staple in the outerwear line up, I really wish that there would have been different length options offered- petite, regular, long. I found that the length of the robe came down almost to my ankles and the sleeves were at an awkward length (mid-way down my forearms).

Comfortable, love that they’re no buttons, great length, perfect weight!

I have an old one from years ago and the quality is not the same as it used to be.

Love the soft silky fabric. Goes with anything when you need a light layer.

Bring back the mid length or make options for petit like other store do.

This is one of those items you always get compliments on. It's classic and beautiful but not a plain cardigan or blazer. You can dress it up or down. Perfect for shoulder seasons.

Love this drapey trench! My go-to to dress up a pair of jeans. The first time I wore this, a lady stopped me in the street and said I looked like I stepped out of a fashion magazine! I feel put together, elegant and trendy. The fabric has a beautiful feel and weight to it. Looks great tied up, but my fave is having it loose and undone with heels and a pair of straight leg crop jeans.

I wear this "robe" with everything, I'm obsessed! I would refer to it more as a trench. Love this fabric. Can be easily dressed up or down.

This coat is amazing, drapes beautifully and feels great on. One gripe is the length. I will have to have it altered and wish they offered a shorter length for petite sizes (for reference I’m 5’3”)

The fabric lays so nicely and is a beautiful colour. Great to dress up or down.

I originally bought the dark navy but the colour is much darker than it looks on the picture, it's almost black. Had to exchange it for the gray which is lighter but still not as light as in the picture. The fit and fabric are really nice and the robe holds its shape really well.

The color was prettier than it looked in the picture and the packaging was perfect. I want to buy it again in other colors 🙂

I have every colour. I love these robes. That said, I gave them 4 stars as they do not wash well. I can say that about most Aritzia items though. I highly recommend dry cleaning despite the care instructions indicating you can wash the Kahlo Robe.

Fits try to size. Great quality, I bought the grey colour and it is so flattering. My new favourite piece.

Hands down this piece will likely be the most favourite item I’ve bought all year. I love this robe for its versatility. The material holds nicely without wrinkling throughout the day.

Love the Kahlo robe! It is perfect over either dress slacks or jeans for an evening look. I went up a size for a looser more fluid fit.
