The Marlo High Rise Loose 28L

Not worth the price, brought them home and wore them out and they just fit really odd around the waist and they aren’t long enough (I’m 5’6 and they were above my ankles to a point where they were just unflattering.

I absolutely loved the fit the first wear but the retention of the fabric is disappointing. It stretched a full size especially in the bum and hips area by the second wear, and now has an incredibly unflattering fit. Definitely size down one or two sizes.

I ordered 3 pairs of jeans to try for fit (2 Farrah - 30" length and 32" length). Also got the Marlo in the 30" length.

All 3 pairs of jeans were bought in size 27 (5'6, 135 pds) They fit great, with the exception of the length. The Marlo is a smidge looser but that is the style. These jeans do stretch out, the majority of styles. So if you try them on and they are a little loose or fit perfectly, you may want to size down.

Here's my issue, the 30" are too short for full-length jeans. I cannot understand why the models are 3-4 inches taller than me and the pants look the same length. These are too short for my liking. There is no way they are wearing 30" length. I do not have freakishly long legs for my height. I bought a 32" length in the Farrah, those are full length.

I am returning 2/3 pairs I bought.

There are not that many options in DF for 32" lengths. Aritzia, you need to make more 32" length jeans. For anyone over 5'4 and who wants full-length jeans, the 30" will not cut it. I am assuming they have a large clientele over 5'4 who like DF and don't want all jeans ankle or cropped.

I was looking for a pair of loose, casual denim to wear day-to-day and let me tell you... these are IT. I got them in both size 26 x 28L in the Black Eyeliner and 7 Years Picture This Bleu and they are full-length on me (I'm 5'2), hitting just below the ankle. They are slightly tight in the waist at first, but loosen slightly with wear. Mind you, this is what I was looking for in a jean specifically cause a girl likes to eat and still be comfy and cute. As much as I love my Levi's, these have quickly replaced my ribcage jeans as my go-to, simply because they are that comfortable AND they have a zip fly - I'm really not trying to break any more nails on that button fly anymore lol. These aren't as flattering on the booty as the ribcage but if you want a cool, comfy everyday jean, then why aren't these already in your cart?

Great jeans and worth the money! They have a soft feel and stretch to them, so I found the bum and legs will stretch a full size but the waist does not. They fit slightly smaller so I had to size up in the waist. I also purchased them in black but they feel much different. Lots of material, thick, and less aesthetically cute. Highly recommend the style though!

I got these after returning a pair of Arlos that were inconsistently sized. These jeans are exactly what I was looking for. I find the Farrah wide legs to be too tight across the hip and in the crotch but these Marlos offer a stylish wide leg and are SO extremely comfy! New favourite jeans for sure!

The quality is very good!

Previously a loyal Juno purchaser, I transitioned to the Marlo. Hits just below the ankle, waist doesn’t gap and relaxes slightly after the first couple wears. A thick, sturdy denim.

I’m typically a 29W in my jeans so I sized down like the model to a 28W. I ordered in both the black and the mid blue washes. The black fits way better and has more stretch. The mid blue was tight in the waist and on the thighs. I would’ve given full stars for the wash and fly zipper if it weren’t for the inconsistent sizing.

I am so obsessed with these jeans! I wish they came in more colour options, the length is perfect and the fit. I purchased a size up for a baggier look and I’m obsessed.

Overall, I love these. There’s slight gapping in my waist, but that’s unavoidable given my waist to hip ratio (30.5” and 44” respectively). I could’ve sized down but would have sacrificed the looser fit in the leg. I’m 5’9” and would’ve preferred a 32” inseam, but the 30” is a perfect slightly cropped cut. These are so comfortable and will be wearing tons.

I am usually a 27 but i had to size down (still some room in the waist but the 25 were too tight for me). I love the straight leg and definitely comfy! Also I am 5'4 and the 30L still worked for me.

Looked so good when trying on in store, I even ordered a second pair in the black eyeliner wash to wear to work. However these jeans are not comfortable to sit in and the crotch area wrinkles so bad it’s embarrassing. Disappointed and regret buying these.

About a month ago, a genius sales associate heard that I'd been struggling to find a looser pair of denim that didn't completely fight my body (5'6", hourglass) and grabbed a pair of these for me to try on. I left the store wearing them. They're magic. The looser, mid-rise waistband sits very flatteringly above the hipbones, and the legs somehow hug both bum and hips without sacrificing the cool of the baggier shape. I got them in the 30" inseam and in the Picture This Bleu wash. Since then, I've worn them out to dinner, to teach in, on a hike with a friend, and for a spontaneous 2am dance party—and they've held up beautifully. As they're 100% cotton they do loosen slightly with wear, though not as much as I thought they would, so if you want a tighter fit you might consider sizing down. (I've been kind of enjoying the looser fit myself.) Look, these are phenomenal jeans. One of those items you'll stockpile for years and cry about when they're discontinued. I'm writing this review to kill time as I calculate how many other washes I could afford to buy them in.

These are the jeans of my dreams. They are both soft and sturdy - holding up well after long periods of sitting (i.e., no excessive creasing or bagginess). They do run large, so I would suggest sizing down at least one to two sizes. I'm 5'5", 110 lbs, 24-25" waist, and 34" hips. Size 23 fits perfectly and the 28L comes down to just below my ankle bone. I love that they fit my waist perfectly while also remaining loose (but not baggy) through the leg.

Tried these on in store and fell in love with them. They are the perfect Jean especially if you are a bit curvy/ have bigger hips and a smaller waist. Ended up not getting them though because they don’t come in a 32 inseam and the 30 was just way too short. If you have shorter legs I highly recommend

Even though it's a dad jean, since it's high rise I'd expect the waist to fit, so I ordered my waist size. Need to go down one size. The cut through the legs, color, and length, is great though
