I love love love love LOVE my slouch coat! i 'm 1.77m and got the Large in Tall and it is a bit too big, but I did not want my coat to have short sleeves. I absolutely recommend it.

I absolutely love this coat. It is so sleek and sophisticated but yet can be dressed down with jeans and runners. Winner in my closet! I ordered the tall version so it was a little more length to my ankle and I am glad I did. It is a little oversized, I could have fit xs or even xxs for a more fitted look, but I bought my regular small.

This coat feels luxurious and amazing to wear. I’ve had mine for several months. No pilling. I am 5ft it hits my mid calf. But doesn’t look sloppy big. It’s the perfect oversized fit. The arms are the perfect size and length. I can easily wear a hoodie underneath and still be comfortable.

I order the slouch coat first in a S and then exchanged it for an XS. I am 5ft, 135lbs, 36DDD, so finding clothes and coats is really tough for me. The slouch coat hits all the high notes. Perfect overall length and sleeve length. You might just need to order a few different sizes and see what works best! It’s also super warm - even in Chicago! Totally recommend!

I’m 5’6” I ordered a tall & love the length!! Usually a medium at aritzia, sized down to a small. Still really oversized, but I think it’s perfect.

If you’re thinking about getting this just do it. I wear this coat every day and it’s so warm and chic. The regular small was out of stock so I got a tall extra small and it fits great. (I’m usually a size small for aritzia tops and a medium for pants and dresses.)

The Camel Hair coat is the softest feeling coat you sell, along with the outstanding feature of camel hair being that it is also the warmest coat you sell (rated for -20C warmth) - but the very BEST feature of the camel hair coat is that it feels so lightweight when you wear it - rather than feeling like you are carrying a heavy weight on your shoulders (the way that other wool coats feel). This coat feels so wonderfully lightweight to wear - but step outside in bitter cold winter weather and you won't feel the cold at all. Yet enter into a store from the cold, and the coat "breathes" so you then also do not feel overheated while wearing it shopping. I normally wear a M to a L (depending on item and brand) but in coats more often a L. Tried on the L in this coat - but it felt too big for my frame. So I bought the M coat and it being just slightly oversized is a really nice fit because your movements do not feel restricted in the coat - and its large enough to feel like you are being wrapped in a super warm blanket. Yet wearing it unbuttoned (or buttoned) still looks very sleek and stylish. The coat is a really a great fit (without appearing in any way too large but also not in any way too tight). The length is perfect (I am 5'5") and coat reaches top of my calf. The color Burnt Cedar (a rich deep dark chocolate brown) looks particularly stunning (especially paired with a scarf in a soft shade of dusty light pink) and a pair of brown ankle boots. I literally never leave the house wearing this coat that I do not receive compliments on it. It looks equally beautiful when "dressed down" when wearing jeans and ankle boots as it does when I am "dressed up" or wearing a dress with shoes or higher boots. And I find that despite owning several very nice winter coats, that I now reach only for this one - because nothing else I own compares to the comfort, warmth, fit, weight, style and color of this wonderful coat. It's 100% a winner and I am very happy that I purchased it!

Originally ordered this coat in a long Large. It came and was too big so I had to do an exchange online for a long medium. It’s arrived and I’m in love! Definitely recommend going with the long if you’re worried about the length of the sleeves and are a tall girly! Highly recommend this coat:) it’ll last me a lifetime!!!

I have spent all winter looking for a great navy wool coat and can confirm that I found it. The slouch coat it's absolutely worth the hype and investment.

I'm usually an XS/S top and a 26 in jeans. I like my jackets to be more oversized to accommodate winter layers, so I ordered a small size in the regular length. It's perfect. It's a little longer on me than it appeared to be on the model (I'm 5'6, and it hit mid-calf), but that length is what I wanted and expected. The coat is so soft and feels like high-quality wool—time will tell, but I hope this coat lasts for many winters.

I bought the stedman coat before but it’a too tight on my arms (I do have big arms 😅). I could only wear the coat when I use formal/semi formal clothes. Couldnt wear thick or semi thick tops. But with the slouch coat, I had no problem! I even wear it almost everyday! Whether I’m on casual clothes or dressed up! It’s reeeeally warm too! I even wear it on cold days while walking my fur baby.
I’m actually 5” and took the regular length. I’m actually a bit fat so wearing the short kinda emphasizes my built. With the regular length, it kinda makes me look tall.
I’m medium on most coats but small fits perfect and even has some space and isnt tight on the arms! Size down and uf you want a skinny fit size down 2-3 sizes.

I purchased this coat for a trip to Europe with temps between 25-35 degrees while traveling between 4 different countries. Not only is it a fantastic quality but it kept me warm ( & dry) and was incredibly easy to move in. I brought a few different coats with me, this being the more stylish of the bunch, and felt it was by far the most comfortable for longer wear… we’re talking 10 miles of walking outside & inside in 35 degrees. For reference I am 5’2, 125 lbs, and built like a gymnast. The cut of this coat is perfect for us short girlies!

Finally pulled the trigger after years of eyeing this coat. What made me pull the trigger is the petite size offering. The coat length and the sleeves fit perfectly for my 5’0 frame - coat still looks oversized and proportional to my height without overwhelming my body. The regular size was just a tad too long in the sleeves and the length of the coat for my torso. The stitching and the wool % and quality is also top notch. Overall, great winter classic wool coat.

I truly love the slouch coat in herringbone. I took it with me during my trip to Iceland and it kept me quite warm. I do recommend to size down for the perfect oversized fit!

I love the coat, but would have preferred a smaller size. I’m 5ft nothing and ordered an XS, short. The length on the arms and legs is perfect. It is so warm and I love stitching. But yes it’s oversized so order a size down.

I’ve had this coat for a few weeks now and I love it! I can wear it during 30°F weather without layering closthes just a shirt and jeans and it keeps me warm. It’s made really well. I love the brown color. Love the deep pockets. I could have sized down to a XS but if I want to wear chunky sweaters underneath a S works best! I see why this is a top seller.

I own the slouch mid coat in black and now bought the camel longer length in a size small short. It’s a classic style and color perfect over jeans or a dress. The quality is great and has room for layering. Most importantly, it fits my 5ft frame without overwhelming me.

I’m going to talk about the fit as I was thinking about which size to get for a very long time. I bought the small one in the tall as I wanted it to be longer and it is perfect. The size guide suggested to but the size M but I’m glad I didn’t as even the S is a bit oversized which I really like. I am 5’7 and my hip is 40.

A perfect lightweight trench that can be dressed up or down.

I’m 5’3 roughly a medium size 6-8 American size, definitely an OVERSIZED fit. A short Medium was too big on me! But quickly exchanged it for a Short Small and it has been so soft and stylish! A bit long still but it’s like a bit below the knee. Definitely keeps me warm in the cold NYC weather!

This coat is warm and chic, I love the slouch look of it. I ordered the short version and people think I had it tailored to fit me so well! It’s perfect.

I ordered deep camel and the coat that came was a chocolate brown. Not sure why they filter their product photos… but look up the coat on TikTok before you decide on a color.
I like the coat otherwise tho, returning for a different color (cocoa sand) which looks more “deep camel” in real life but once again not in the product photos.

I am so happy I found this coat. Who knew it would be so hard to find a lined coat that is 100% wool? Almost impossible! Plus I am only 5' tall so every long coat was way too long. I even started to look at luxury brands and they were a total disappointment. But the Babaton Slouch Coat in the short length is perfect! At 110 lbs, I went with the S, which gives me plenty of room for a chunky sweater or heavier blazer. The XS would probably have worked too. One negative comment: I knew when I unboxed it that the coat could not possibly be as warm as the website suggests. It just doesn't weigh as much as a warm wool coat does. The tag says warm to -20C / -4 F. The other day I was just comfortable in 30 F weather. There is no way it will keep me warm if the temp is much below freezing. Still, it is very smart looking and global warming will take care of the rest.

First, this coat is mostly true to size (except for the arms - don't understand why women's designers insist on doing this to us) and is gorgeous. The look is just what I wanted, but not the weight of the coat, so the two stars are for the description being misleading. I live in the northeast, and this is not heavy enough to be a real winter coat here. When I picked up the box it came in, it was so light I thought (was hoping) I was sent the wrong item. The item description says it's warmer/up to -2 degrees and that's not true. Of course I layer up under my coats, but when I spend more than $300 on something described a certain way, I expect it to be as described. I'm not sure I'm keeping this.

The construction of the coat and the materials used are not to the high standard that Artiza has been in the past. I would not purchase this coat even at half price. I returned the coat and purchased the Only coat in a casmere wool mix.

I'm a medium and l bought small. Very light in weigh and since arr weather hasn't been cold enough l can't rate the warmth.
Overall l really like this coat.

The perfect everyday coat. Good for work and everyday wear/ going out. It’s effortless. But my only thing is it says good for -20C but I’ve worn it on days that are warmer than that and felt a bit chilly. If you don’t mind layering up a bit still a good quality piece

Love my new coat. The color is rich; looks super chic, and is keeping me warm in chilly Fall in Chicago. Not crazy oversized or too tailored; it’s relaxed in a way that walks the line between casual and elegant to dress up or down as needed. Super happy with this purchase.

Love the slight oversize fit, fabric is not too heavy but enough to keep you warm, love the colour.

I usually wear S, sometimes XS, but for this coat not to look like it belongs to my dad, I had to size down to XXS. This way it looks really fashionable and nice. My only concern is about piling. I read a review mentioning piling. I hope it won't happen after paying a little fortune for this coat. I want to wear it for many years.

Perfect, slightly oversized fit that’s excellent for layering. The camel/wool version is lighter weight, so it doesn’t get too bulky with sweaters. It’s easy to throw on, comfortable in the car despite the length, yet makes me look instantly put together.

I ordered an xs because most of the reviews said
they sized down. I don’t mind it but I would have liked it to be a bit more oversized to give that true ‘slouch’ effect.

This camel slouch coat is my second one. My first was Black in medium and I loved it! I've worn it for two years and decided on another color and ordered a large for a roomier fit. However, upon receiving and trying it on the large, it was indeed too loose and didn't have the right look. I went back to store and got a medium. Strangely, I feel this medium is a tad larger than my black slouch from two years ago. Style wise, I love the Slouch and how easy it is to wear. The camel wool is lightweight and I don't feel over burdened or over heated even walking around in a heated mall, etc. Love the slouch

I was wanting to buy this for so long and finally did during clientele. I am so glad. The quality is amazing. I sized down one size and it is still quite oversized on me . I can fit thick sweaters underneath .

This is the black coat of my dreams. I’m 5’8”, approximately 153 lbs., have long arms and opted for a small tall. The sleeves stop right at my wrist and the fit is perfectly oversized without being overwhelming. Not sure about the finish of the camel color, but the black has a beautiful sheen. I just love this coat and will definitely have it for a very long time.

I really wish I purchased this style coat from Aritzia a few years ago because the quality in 2023 is not good. I’m not sure where/how they are cutting quality, but anyone who has worn Aritzia coats purchased 3-4 plus years ago would know this is not the same quality and it’s absolutely sad. Y’all do not bother purchasing this coat. It feels so thin and flimsy compared to prior versions for $400. Aritzia should be ashamed for duping loyal customers. I have coats from 2020 that still looks new and I live in Chicago and wear my coats frequently.

The camel hair material is so soft and lightweight. Feels very luxurious to wear. Definitely not warm enough for -20 b/c at that point you should be wearing a parka or a real winter jacket. I’m usually a Xs-S and went with a Xxs and it still feels oversized enough for me to wear a sweater underneath. For reference 5’5 and 120lbs.

Typically wear XS, sometimes a small depending on the style to fit comfortably at my hips. I have the cocoon coat in XS. Ordered this coat in 2XS regular short. Being 5’2”, the regular 2XS in store was still a bit overwhelming for my frame but the regular short is perfect. Sleeves are on the shorter side, which doesn’t bother me, but others may not like it. When standing sleeves hit mid-hand, but when outstretched my sweater sleeve peeks out at my wrist. Otherwise, perfectly oversized, fits over all my oversized sweaters and can easily button without any tightness or pulling at the hips.

Light for a wool coat, but unexpectedly warm enough in 5C weather with just a hoodie underneath. I have relatively long arms and sleeves were just the perfect length!

So beautiful and warm I am very pleased I want another colour. I wish they had a belt.
