I was debating getting this coat in black for over a year before finally pulling the trigger and wow it really goes with everything! I’ve been wearing it with dresses and nice dinner outfits, as well as dressing it down with sweats and air forces. It’s warm, soft, and the stitching is well done. It’s also the perfect amount of oversized, and reaches well past my knees regardless of me being 5’9”. My only complaint is that little black fuzzies can shed on lighter coloured clothes, but it’s nothing crazy. 10/10 would recommend!
Ive had the only coat 3 years, bought it in chocolate brown, maybe it’s the burnt cedar colour I can’t tell online if it’s the same but I love my coat so much. After 3 years it still looks like new, everyone looks at my coat with appreciation when I wear it. I think it looks best in dark colours because it is naturally oversized look due to the slight balloon shape
I love this coat. It’s so easy to throw on and warm without any bulky feeling. My only disappointment is sizing. The oversized look is great but the 2XS is still more oversized than what I want . It’s also a little long.
This trench is perfect. I can style this so many different ways. I ordered a small which is my normal size and I still have room to wear a hoodie or sweater under it without my arms feeling tight. Everyone should always have a good trench coat!
Coat is stylish, warm and very comfortable. Great for casual or formal. Fabric allows for dabbing up spills and brushing off dirt. I’m 5.9 and coat is almost ankle length. Customer service very helpful when I needed to exchange XL for L. So many compliments
I still rate this coat 5 stars! I don’t think it’s fair to rate it any less because I didn’t like the way it looked on me. It was a bit too oversized for my body frame and the buttons sit low. However if you like the oversized look it’s a beautiful coat. But trying it on in store is always the way to go.
inside lining ripped after only a couple weeks of wear. Seems for this expensive of a coat the lining would be nicer. Overall it’s cute though & definitely oversized.
Got this jacket in burnt cedar and I LOVE IT! Would definitely recommend to try this style on in store - I can be a xs or s in wool coats. Think about what you would wear with this coat - I wanted to see if I could wear this over a hoodie, and the fit was perfect.
Love this coat. Such a classic look and the quality is so nice; heavy, warm, soft lining. I’m usually a smedium, small in some brands, medium in others. I originally ordered a small and was drowning in the coat. Returned it but couldn’t stop thinking about it. Bought the extra small and it fits great!
material is very nice and soft, probably one of the best material blends compared to other similar coats from aritzia. Very classic and timeless silhouette. Expensive but planning on keeping this for a long time
The coat is beautiful and I was excited but after wearing it two times it needs to be brushed and it is already pilling. I bought the light grey. So disappointed because it’s a beautiful coat but for almost $400, I don’t want to worry about my coat looking like it’s made of polyester
Size down. I tried it on at the store and went down two sizes. I'm 5’5, and the length is acceptable, but I did size down significantly. It’s warm and the camel color is gorgeous! Love!
I brought the bone and the dark taupe. Both are beautiful however I received the dark taupe today and it is my favourite. It is a nicer colour in person. The best way to describe it is a medium cool brown tone. You should run to get this coat! It’s a winner!
I love this coat and it runs large, so size down. Very flattering. Only weird thing is I've ordered this coat twice (returned one) and BOTH say it is made for -10 degrees, not -20 like it does on the website. I think it may be a typo -- either way, good to know before you buy if you're looking for a super heavy duty warm coat!
I ordered a few different coats from Aritzia and this was the winner for sure. Really warm and very easy to layer underneath. I’m pretty tall so I was worried about the fit but it’s honestly the perfect length!! Plus, the arms are nice & long which I didn’t find was the case with some of the other styles. Though oversized, the fit is still flattering. Super excited to wear this!!

Beautiful fabric and beautifully made, and color gorgeous, but the body on a size SMALL was huge! And the V-neck goes so low it was down to my waist (I’m 5’3”) Please make this coat in petite sizes also…not everyone is model height!
I love the cigar color, but the fit is really oversized. I am 135 lbs and 5’6”—I normally wear a medium in coats but got the small since most reviews says it runs large. Small was still way to big. Also the material looked like felt instead of a high end wool. It felt costume-y. I returned this coat.
I love an oversized look, but this coat was massively oversized in my usual size (SM/4 or 6). I ended up sizing down to an XS and I am so happy I did.
It was almost comically large in an S, but fits me like it does the model in an XS. I wish the arms were ever so slightly longer but like the way it fits everywhere else and can fit my chunkiest knits underneath.
Really nice quality coat. Very oversized so make sure you size down at least one size. I probably could’ve sized down one more but the length in the arms start to get shorter and shorter. Can tell it’s going to be a warm coat, I can’t wait to start wearing it!
The coat and colour were lovely - but the Small size looked ridiculous on me. So oversized. I tried to reorder the XS but it was out of stock. Why not order enough stick ?? It’s not even Winter yet.
Gorgeous coat. I am XS-S US4 5’4 and 120lbs and took a XS and it’s oversized. I would have liked to try on the XXS (which I would never wear this size) for a more fitted structured look but I don’t mind the XS oversized look either. I can wear a hoodie under it and it’s not tight anywhere. Thick and warm.
I ordered this coat online. I wasnt sure how oversized. I sometimes where a medium or large depending in the style. In this coat the small was perfect!
Very good quality and super warm. Only concern is the colour i got pulls pink/purple and it’s suppose to be a greyish beige colour. It’s also super oversized, i usually wear a medium and i got a small and it’s still roomy enough for a large sweater under it
I ordered an xs and it’s roomy plenty to accommodate a hoodie underneath. My usual size is S. Color is true to picture i got the pillar grey! Super soft material overall happy with purchase.
I love everything about it, but it definitely fits larger than expected. The description said “just shy of oversized”… its actually just oversized. Fits beautifully nonetheless.
Beautiful silhouette and fabric. The website recommended size large, but I sized down to medium based on the reviews, and really glad I did, because the medium was a perfect fit and there's still room for a thick sweater underneath. Looking forward to wearing it when the weather gets cooler!
