I originally purchased an XS but they were out of stock so I was sent a small. I do wish I had the XS as it does feel slightly large around my waist but overall it is a absolutely beautiful coat. Good quality, warm and I love the high neck and hidden buttons and the colour is gorgeous
I love this coat - it’s warm and stylish. It fits properly, but if I ordered again I would get a M so I can wear thick sweaters under it. For me the small is a bit tight when I’m wearing a big sweater.
Love this coat so much! I was eyeing it for a while before finally deciding to buy it online. It's warm and flattering, and the classic camel is a lovely colour. I saw the burnt cedar at the store, and I might buy that one next.
I like this brand of coats and it is my second style from aritzia, I received many compliments wearing it anywhere. I recommend it even if you are average height as me.
While the jacket is a nice cut and fits well, for $300+ it is not very thick or warm. A jacket from A&F costs less and is much thicker in fabric and warmth, making it a better bang for your buck. Was really disappointed.
Initially purchased size extra small but a bit tight across shoulders, so returned and bought a small in black. Beautiful coat, very elegant, well made. Great length and perfect fit across shoulders. Room for a sweater underneath. Great with a dress and knee high boots or casual with jeans.
Love the colour. How the jacket fits. I’m 5”2 and the shorter version of this jacket works great for my hight. I normally wear a small and the small jacket fits perfect even with a sweater underneath. Definitely recommended
Beautiful coat and the feel on is fantastic. Super pleased although I think I could have possibly gotten a smaller size. I went ahead and just kept the med for days when I have on heavier sweaters underneath.
Love this coat, I've been eyeing it for a while, so I'm glad to finally own it! Size down, I originally got a M thinking I'd need the room to wear layers underneath but it was much too big. I got a size S and it's perfect and still has enough room to layer underneath. I love the hidden buttons, it's such a creative structural design. If you layer it properly you can certainly make this your primary jacket throughout a Toronto winter.
I love this coat so much! As a northeast girl, this has been keeping me surprisingly warm during these months AND I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on it. A GREAT going-out coat, iykyk! As a taller girl, I wish I would have gotten the longer one, but this one still covers my butt, which is mainly what I was looking for.
This is such a sophisticated good looking coat and well made! It looks great dressed up or down with jeans. I’m 5’8, and the small fit me a little bit better than the Medium, but they both worked.
If between sizes I would size up. I initially got the small and it seemed like I could size down but the XS was too tight. Cigar and Camel color are both beautiful but I settled on the camel.
I bought the large size to replace an older version (size medium) of this coat which too tight around my shoulders + bust area but gave me shape around my waist + hips.
When I tried on the large size the shoulder and bust area fit well, but it was WAY too baggy at the waist and hips (even though this coat is supposed to be a 'classic' fit not relaxed).
I ended up returning the coat... very disappointed as this was my favourite wool coat.
The coat fits perfectly,has a nice soft like material and looking reach.The coat is made in Romania which is a great bonus;made just perfect to look like a coat.Designed by Italian company.
I absolutely love this jacket - I just bought myself a smaller size after losing weight, and I am so happy that the quality is the same as my original! I ordered a small but probably could have gone with xs, but I wanted it to be extra roomy for wearing sweaters underneath. It fits well and goes with literally everything. I ordered this coat online and it was delivered in a ball. It was so badly wrinkled even dry cleaning wouldn't correct it. Customer service did not care and said that's how they ship larger items.
Love the look of this coat! It is such soft material and it looks great. I was a little disappointed in the warmth — I felt like wind actually came through the seams a bit. Also fit slightly bigger than what I expected.
I knew this coat was my “one n only” the second I laid eyes on it. Every detail on this coat is perfect right down to the hidden button holes. If a clean minimal look is what you’re after, this is the perfect fit for you. I found the fit to be a tad on the larger size. I’m normally a M but the S fit really well with room to move and's I was wearing a thick sweatshirt underneath.

After reading mixed reviews I was hesitant to take the plunge on this coat but I’m SO glad I did! Ordered it in a regular, S, Heather Gray. Fits perfectly - very high quality, nice weight, warm, classy. I’ll be wearing this for business in the day & out for dinners in the evening. I’m 5’9”, 135lbs, athletic/slim build, 36C and I stuck with the Regular (Vs Tall) and so glad I did as I like where it lands on my low to mid thigh. Model in the Tall photos is 5’11” and Tall coat looks longer on her than I was aiming for. Personal choice. I love this so much I actually just also ordered another one in Cigar for a warmer look to match some of my other business wear!
The arm holes on this jacket are too small. My biceps were constricted even wearing a strapless top underneath, while the body of the jacket was quite large on me. For reference, my biceps measure about 12.75" with a 26" waist and I tried the size small which I had to return due to the armholes. If you have normal sized biceps and want to wear a sweater underneath, be forewarned it may be a tight & uncomfortable squeeze.
