Soft sweater that will be a classic staple piece

Slightly larger than normal around shoulder & neck

This is the most flattering sweater I have ever bought. It falls beautifully on the body without bunching up at the armpits or sleeves, it looks smooth and expensive. The material is thick (not thin like some of their sweaters) and very soft. All the stiching lays flat, and the length is perfect enough to be short but not cropped or boxy (it lays nicely on the butt). Neckline is very flattering. I would say get your regular size proportional to your torso/waist length. I believe the model sized up for her torso length, which is definitely shorter than mine (I believe she could have gotten an XS despite her height, but if you want the more slouchy slightly oversized look you can reference the model). For reference, I am 5'5, normally wear an 2xs or xs (0 or 00) in most clothing, and have an hourglass figure. If you are shorter and have a bigger chest, this may make you look boxy (tested on an individual who is 5'1 with large chest) because of the cut and neckline.

Given the price of this sweater and the supposed quality, I am very disappointed. Firstly, the cuffs were loose, like someone had already worn the sweater and stretched them out. Second, the sweater is extremely large and boxy. It is okay to wear casually but too sloppy to wear to an office. I normally take an xl and ordered a l, wish I had ordered an m. The sweater stretched out and lost it's shape after the first wear, this should not happen if it is a decent density - I have many wool products and a few cashmere and angora sweaters. What really takes the cake is significant pilling along the chest and under the arms after the first wear, making the sweater look old and ratty. I am large chested (D38) and find it frustrating that many Babaton sweaters seem to pill across the chest immediately. I would not recommend this sweater, even on sale, and think this is the last Babaton sweater I will be buying.

Received in the mail today and it’s already piling and looks used. What a disappointment. I have the exact same sweater that I got a couple years ago and this one has gone down so much in quality compared to the older version. The cashmere is thinner and it doesn’t feel as soft as my older sweater. As a loyal customer who has been buying Aritzia for 10 years, it’s so disappointing to see Aritzia’s decline in its quality. Will return for sure but sadly I can only return for store credit

This sweater is very soft and comfortable. The sleeves give it an elegant appearance. Looking forward to wearing this in the colder months.

I would say fits tts….fabric is fabulous…I have not washed yet but will follow wash instructions and hoping for quality results

This cut was not particularly flattering on me - boxy and too wide in the shoulders. Had to return.

I was really excited to get this sweater (bought it in the light cool grey color) as I live in cashmere during the winter and the style caught my eye. The cut is great as it can be worn off the shoulder or on and fit perfectly in a size Small (5'9" 110lbs). Unfortunately, I found the material unbearably itchy to wear. I do have sensitive skin but most cashmere doesn't give me trouble so this was a surprise. The sweater I received also had a musty/moldy smell and seemed to be a return as it had come back into stock when I scooped it up. Based on the other reviews, maybe I just got a dud ? If not, then Aritzia definitely needs to find a new source for their cashmere!

This sweater is great quality and feels like a dream on the skin. I did go down in size as the L was too big. Plan to buy in more colours!
