peggy sweater

I’ve been wanting an oversized apres ski style sweater for a long time and I finally found one. I sized up and the fit is exactly how i envisioned it. sweater is super soft and it’s been cold washed and laid flat to dry without any pilling. love. second peggy sweater i’ve purchased will be getting more!

They pill LIKE CRAZY!!!! I bought 2 of these sweaters and thought that given the price they would be good quality. I have only washed them once and followed the instructions on the label. After they were washed ( laid out to dry) they lost their shape as well. DO NOT BUY. I would go to H&M or Everlane if you are looking for a nice sweater that is made of 100% wool.

shrunk after one wash, went from oversized to borderline cropped. I followed all the washing instructions on it too! the pilling is insane, to the point where i'm embarrassed to wear it out. You can get better quality sweaters from thrift stores. I used to shop at aritizia because of the amazing quality of the clothing now im gonna be staying far away from Aritzia because of how extremely bad the quality is.

For the price, I was NOT expecting to get little fluffs constantly. I love the look and the oversized fit of this sweater but for what you pay, the endless pilling should NOT be happening.

I wash it according to the car instructions but all three of the Peggy sweaters I've purchased shrink.

I love the quality of the sweater and keeps me warm on freezing Colorado days! I'm normally a size small in tops and it was a true oversized fit when I still got a size small. It's a staple in my closet.

I tried it on once it arrived and was covered in white fluff, so decided to wash it before wearing. Did not even get to wear it once. After a cold and delicate wash cycle and laid flat to dry, it shrunk to half the size? I want my money back. Wasted $120!

Fabric scratches.Sweater too long for an s size

This sweater starts out beautiful and soft and nicely oversized. However, after wearing it and carefully washing it ONE time as per the directions (in cold, on delicate, in a lingerie bag, re-shaped and laid flat to dry) it's shrank to half its size and is not wearable. It started out as a gorgeous oversized sweater on my size small teen, and now it would fit an 8 year old. This shrinkage due to just being wet (?!) is unbelievable. This is not acceptable for a $128 sweater and is not the Aritzia quality you'd expect. Super disappointed. You might as well just put $128 in a shredder and save yourself the hassle of ordering this sweater. I'm sure if I were to wash it again it would become a toddler size as shrinkage is just so drastic.

Oversized sweater. Size down if you want a more fitted style.

Most comfortable and cute sweater ever!

Only giving four stars because for some reason the black is slightly itchy. I have the white one and wear it with just a t-shirt underneath and it's soft and comfortable. Not sure if I just have to wear it a couple times for it to soften. Otherwise I love this sweater. The chunky cable knit is super cute.

For a 150$ sweater, i expected more...after only one wash, it started to peel like crazy. Don't waste your money on this.

I am a long time Aritzia shopper. There clothes have always been worth the cost. I bought this sweater for my 13 year old daughter as a gift. She wore it on Christmas. Got compliments. Then I washed it as per the instructions. Hang to dry. It shrunk so much that she won’t be able to wear it and it was oversized to start! I spent hours trying to reshape/save the sweater but it is a lost cause. DO NOT BUY!!! It is a very expensive one time wear.

I wore it once and it started to pill ans when I went to wash it on cold it shrunk and the fabric feels super weird and stiff now.

This was my first Aritzia purchase and it will probably be my last! I was looking forward to this sweater and how comfy it seemed so I didn’t mind the price at first. After one wear the fabric had some serious pilling and I would’ve returned it but I was past the 30 day policy.
After one hand wash and air dry it is extremely shrunken and misshapen. Absolute garbage for a ridiculous price. Don’t waste your money.

Pilled after first use

I ordered the cream color a year ago in a Medium. While I absolutely loved how it fit and the softness, it was pilling right out of the box. This pilling did not get better after handwashing and it would take roughly 20-30 mins to de-pill the sweater after a few days of wear. Sadly, I have yet to find another similar style in natural fibers, but I would recommend you keep looking or buy second hand. This is not worth the $128 price tag.

This is such a beautiful, comfortable sweater & I get compliments on it every time I wear it out. However it started to pill really badly after about the second or third wear, before even washing it. I wish the quality matched the price point, this would be the perfect sweater if it weren't for the aggressive piling.

Fit is a bit large. Fabric pills.

I have worn it once so far, and haven’t washed it yet, so I’m unsure of any shrinkage, but I ordered a XXS (keep in mind I normally order a small or medium in hoodies and pjs) and this fit perfect. It runs large in my opinion. I love the sweater and the knit is perfect!!

I had my eye on this sweater for so long and finally bit the bullet and now it's my most worn sweater. I receive so many compliments on it & it's so comfortable. I sized up to a medium for a more oversized look and it's perfect but a small would also still be oversized. I noticed a lot of people concerned about washing it since it's merino wool, and as long as you wear a light layer underneath, you won't have to wash it frequently. I got a linen spray and use it after each use and it still smells brand new & clean. As for the pilling, there are some slight pills on the arm but you can just clean it up and it's fine.

Very warm and cozy. Sleeve length a little short.

Worth the hype. I wear it dressed down or up. Definitely on the oversized side of sweaters but I like it like that.

I only wore it once and it pulled like crazy. It is a little bit ichy as well. I wish it wasn’t hyped up as much. Could probably find a better dupe somewhere.

The sweater is beautiful looking. It's not as soft as I expected. The amount of lint that comes off of this sweater is ridiculous. Every time I wear it I ended up with white lint all in my dark hair. I've only worn it 3 times and the piling is awful already. I'm so disappointed in the poor quality of this sweater.

I have sensory issues and very sensitive skin and this is the softest marino wool sweater I have ever felt. And just a tip this sweater should only be hand washed and air dried as the material will go bad in a washer + dryer.

Even after following the care instructions, the sweater still shrank considerably. I’ve only used it 5/7 times. I love this sweater but it’s not worth it if I can’t wear it for a long time :(

So adorable and cozy for winter. I bought several other colors in this style. It is an oversized sweater.

Honestly, I love it but I’ve only worn it like two times and it’s already starting to pill. But other than that it’s such a cute sweater! It’s also an oversized fit so I would recommend getting a size smaller than your originally size.

Very soft and cozy and easy to style

Absolutely love this sweater. I was hesitant to buy it as I’ve been burned by Aritizia’s “2XL” before and wasn’t sure how oversized it would be. I’m a size 16-18 generally, 5’7 and have a larger chest but it is the perfect amount of oversized for me. It’s also super warm. My ooooonly complaint is that it does pill quite easily and I find myself constantly picking at it :(

I didn't want to give into the hype of this but I am so easily influenced and caved lol. I was worried this would be itchy on the skin but it is SO soft and I LOVE this sweater so much. Literally the perfect fall/winter sweater - perfectly oversized, I need to get this in every colour.

I was looking for a good quality sweater and this was it. My only con is that it’s a little scratchy for me if I don’t wear anything underneath.

first time i wore it it she’d SO much there were chunks of fluffs all over. Also didn’t realize it was hand wash only.

Very well made, beautiful cable knit, nice weight, looks pretty but it was too itchy for me, so I had to return it. If you don’t have sensitive skin, you may be ok but it is on the itchy side of materials.

Quality of the sweater and design is great, but not the fit that I wanted on myself. Seemed like I was wearing a blanket, which can be both good and bad

I would recommend. It’s such a comfy, cozy sweater that isn’t too thick. For me, it’s an easy every day go to for a sweater. I want to get it in a grey as well

The Peggy sweater is cute, warm and flattering. It's an oversized sweater that can be dressed up or down and is great for days you don't want to wear a coat while running around. I purchased the grey, black and whisper white. I've washed the black sweater and it dried with no issues, laying flat. Pair this with jeans and a scaf and you're set!
