bancroft relaxed parka

Great winter jacket. I love the top side pockets and how warm it is. Fits true to size.

I had actually come into the store for the Powder Parka, but when I saw this amazing coat on sale and fit was exactly the same, I knew I had to have it!!
This coat definitely fits larger as it’s the relaxed version of the Bancroft, but I got the XXS and it fits me like the small does in the Powder :)

Love this jacket, worth every penny. Fits great, super warm. I live in Winnipeg and this jacket is warm enough for me, enough said.

I really like that the fur on the hood is detachable. The parka looks completely different with and without the fur. It looks great either way. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I bought it on Black Friday, I chose a small size, but it looks like a large, its too big for me , I feel very sad because it is the final sale, I can not change it,

Great water resistant fabric

I love this jacket! Previously repurchased 2 Summit styles and thought to go with a different, more relaxed fit and warmer Bancroft style this winter, especially going into the long Covid 19 winter. Extremely happy with this purchase. The parka withstands cold up to -30 degrees and I can already tell it block all cold, wind and rain, as it is also waterproof unlike my Summits. When trying in store the fitted Bancroft style is more true to size and snugger but I preferred this looser style also as it has the possibility to make a more fitted look by tightening the inner cords on both sides of the jacket.

My biggest complaint about TNA parkas is the fit - I found them very very tight, especially in the lower half (upper chest and down). This parka, however, is the best because it is a relaxed fit. I got a medium and it fits perfectly. I love the oversized hood, storm cuffs and inner straps.

I was scared a medium would be too small with a sweater but there’s lots of room in the jacket. Love the magnet buttons and it’s so warm

This coat exceeded my expectations. I knew it would be a good quality parka, but I did not expect I'd love it so much and for the coat to turn out even better than the similar style of my CG coat which was about 6 times of the price of Aritzia parka. I’m 5ft9 and about 135 lbs, athletic body type and the size S is perfect for me. I’m not particular curvy, more of a rectangular. As far as insulation goes, it feels heavy and warm, however, I haven’t tested it in really cold temperatures yet (I live in Colorado and I’ve been warm these days in this coat when it was about 30-40 degrees outside). In overall, I’m very happy about this purchase, it fit me great and I especially love the magnetic buttons! The only thing I can tell CG did better was the metal wire on the edge of the hood along the fur and straps under the hood, which makes it easier to adjust the hood in different weather conditions. Other than that, the hood of this coat is large, which is great too.

Incredibly comfy and warm!

I really liked this parka in the original fit that I ordered, but in a size that fit my upper body, it was simply way too tight on the hips (I'm curvy, and more pear shaped than hourglass shaped). It was extremely slim fitting. I ordered the same coat in the same color in the relaxed fit, and now I am officially swimming in it (I could fit two of me inside in both the arms and the hips). Now, do I get this coat in this relaxed fit in an entire size down? It seems like a better idea than returning to the original fit in a size up, but we'll see. My biggest frustration of all is that as a US customer it is extremely difficult to return these items when their fit is so off. A measurement of the actual garment details in the original vs. relaxed fits instead of a size chart would have saved me a lot of hassle!

Highly recommend this parka. Beautiful waterproof fabric and details. Love the colour of the coat and the faux fur, the double zipper and magnetic closing. Super warm and stylish. Bought the medium and, at 5’6”, it falls just above my knees. However, not as relaxed a fit as expected as it is tight at the hips. Luckily, with the double zipper, it can be zipped up from the bottom to allow more hip and leg room. Overall, love the style and look of this parka.
