Such a comfortable cardigan and great quality! I suffer from armpit sweat a lot and as a result my clothes stink. The merino whool composition of this cardigan makes it super breathable and doesn't retain body oder nearly as much as synthetic material. It's a little pricey but highly worth the investment because of the quality of the material and versatility.

I bought this cardigan for my daughter and after washing shrink .I bought similar cardigan from GAP but 100% cotton and is perfect after 6 washes I recommended

Disappointed with how much this sweater pills, making it look old and ratty. I have never had any issues with any of my 'other brand' Merino or Cashmere sweaters which naturally have pilling only in the higher friction areas. This is to be expected.

This sweater pills just about everywhere, not only in high friction areas and it is of poor quality in my opinion. Pilling in excess happens with fabrics that are a blend of fabrics including synthetic fibers.

Don't waste your money on this one unless you want to lounge around at home and don't care about excessive pilling all over the sweater.

This is my absolute favourite sweater. I work in an office and I wear it with everything. Yes, it pills — it’s genuine merino, it happens. I wash it in a pillowcase on delicate and it’s fine. I love it. My ONLY complaint is the Rustical Brown colour looks olive green but isn’t. Aritzia, PLEASE make this in olive green!

Fits well , nice look for a casual day. The material is cozy and warm but it is pilling already and I fear this will only get worse.

Unless you are looking for a cardigan to wear once, don't buy this one!!! I followed washing instructions after wearing the cardigan twice and EVEN AFTER FOLLOWING THE WASH INSTRUCTIONS ON THE TAG it shrunk to an unwearable level... So unless you don't mind spending way too much money for something you can only wear once, don't buy this!

Definitely both pros and cons.
Pros: beautiful, soft and staple piece that goes with everything
Cons: despite following instructions - hand wash cold and lay flat to dry, it still shrank and don’t feel as soft.
Sizing: oversized and recommend sizing down or keep the usual size as it’ll shrink!

I wore it every day for a week and when it came time to wash I read the instructions and did everything right and now it’s horrifically stiff and three sizes smaller. I tried everything. No avail. Breaks my heart it was so flattering and comfy.

Purchased this because it's cozy and warm, however after wearing it ONE TIME, there are already pills around the wrist area and sides (where my arms rub against my body). Don't feel it's worth the price, as I will constantly need to make sure pills are removed or risk looking like I'm wearing a cheap cardigan.

I loveee this cardigan. It’s a staple basic piece to have and I believe it will hold up for a long time. I have it in two colors now! I sized up for some extra room. Fits perfectly. Usually an XS/S

The color is great, the fit is roomy and comfortable. I got this in m although my usual size is L, as the fit is a bit oversized.

I bought the yellow one and the color was beautiful. After one wash on delicate cycle, lay flat to dry the sweater was noticeably thinner and more fragile. Also on of the threads that holds the pocket to the corner of the sweater (on the inside) had come off. Really disappointed as Aritzia's quality is usually better than this.

Then I washed it, by hand in cold water as per the wash instructions and laid it flat to dry, however, the woven knit fibers completely changed and the sweater shrunk significantly. I even bought it a size up for it to be cozier. The price is way too high for it to be a only one use, unwashable sweater.

I loved this cardigan, but unfortunately only got one chance to wear it. It got thrown into the washer by accident and even on cold it shrunk to the size of a toddler sweater. Sooooo disappointing for how expensive it is!!!!

Cute sweater but picks up lint and pills.

The wool started pilling after the second wear. So disappointed, because I loved the way it looked and felt on. I only got it a few months ago and it looks like a cheap worn out sweater 😕 Tried to fix it with a wool shaver but the wool just pills up so fast.

This cardigan is definitely oversized but in a good way. I got a size larger (normally an xs in sweaters, got a small) and it’s great to wear while lounging around or working from home.

The cardigan fits well and is not too oversized. It looks good for casual wear or can even dress it up. The cuffs on the sleeves add a bit of flare. It’s not too hot. Love it - I bought two!

Great fit, colour is a brown with an olive undertone… beyond perfect for to wear with almost anything.

It was only nice until the first wash. Shrunk, material felt different. It was machine washed and hung dry once, mistake for using the machine but it shrunk soooo much. Not worth it so fragile and delicate and it won’t last you long! Definitely not worth $178

This thing is super huge. I know its oversized, but I'm swimming in it. I wish I ordered at least one size smaller. I got the violet color because it was on sale and it is such a beautiful color.

Pilled and SHRUNK like crazy after one wash! READ THE REVIEWS, this one was a fail. I love aritzia and I buy tons of stuff from them. This is the first time this has happened to me. It shrunk so small my doll could wear it. The pilling also got all over my other clothes and it was horrible. DO NOT BUY BEWARE!

got in the rose/pink colour. beautiful, quality wool. i always do xxs in loose cardis with aritzia and they fit lovely. 125 lbs 32D and 5'4 for reference!

Love this so much. It's very warm and goes with everything. Many other reviewers complained of pilling, but I think it's expected with natural material, I just used a pill cutter and it looks good as new!

This sweater had a nice oversized fit until I washed it. It shrunk so bad, that it now can fit a small child. Sadly I can’t give it to anyone because it got 2 holes in the washing machine. Aritzia has terrible customer, so no sense in doing anything other than leaving a review and hoping they fix their future clothes. Also, this sweater pilled so bad after I bought it. It truly was a waste of $178. I’ll never buy another sweater from there because of this

I've had this sweater for a while, like a year. It was soo comfortable and soft when I first bought it and it also fit very well. After the second wear, it started pilling everywhere, which made it look really cheap. After washing it, it didn't even look or fit like the same sweater :/ Pretty disappointed for the price.

I’m usually a M but I got a L for an oversized, slouchy look. It’s perfect. It’s a soft knit, not too heavy or itchy at all. Definitely a staple wardrobe piece. Easily dressed up or down.

All the other reviews are true :( sadly, this was one of my favorite sweaters until I washed it- followed all the instructions on the label but it still shrunk and the fabric now feels tough like felt. Super disappointed in Aritzia. For the price, I would've expected more

Love this sweater. I have two other of these heavy merino knits and I love them. They are gorgeous and soft. I see so many comments about these shrinking…yes…Never wash these! Just air out between wear. You don’t need to wash wool you aren’t wearing against your armpit. They will pill but that is expected with merino. Just wear a breathable layer underneath and you will never need to wash it, trust the Irish ☘️ I got a large, I’m 5 7” and 170lbs, 36DD. Large fits perfectly roomy. XL would likely have been cozy too.

Beautiful colour. Fits perfectly, large and bulky which is how I prefer my cardigans. However, the material is not the best. Lint formed on the under arms and sides of sweater during first wear. Disappointed

Like most of the reviews here I hand washed this sweater and it shrunk (but still sortof OK) and then I accidentaly washed it in the delicate cycle on cold and now I need to pass it along to a ten year old, Very sad, I loved this sweater - I am wondering if drycleaning is the solution? I would like to order another as I liked it so much. But unless I get confirmation that this will not happen with drycleaning I can't do it. I also shouldn't as Artizia should stand behind the quality and instructions of their apparel - which apparently they are not.

The cardigan looks really cute and feels super soft. It’s easy to be dressed up or down depending how you want to look. But the only issue is that the material is super fragile and after the first wash it shrunk so much…

I bought in small size, but its large which is fine but after wearing it for a few times now it has wool pilling everywhere on it. Just to make things clear, I haven't yet washed it. Very disappointed. Do not recommend it.

The sweater is great until the first wash. Washed in cool water and hung it to dry, it shrunk SO much the arms look silly short. Super disappointing

this cardigan quickly became my favourite article of clothing, it’s incredibly soft and provides the perfect amount of warm for someone who always runs a little bit cold. it does pill a bit, especially in high friction areas but i haven’t been too bothered by it!

It’s a perfect sweater for the weather with nice pockets, nice trim so that it can be dressed down or up as needed and it’s very warm. Very happy with my purchase - I’ve been looking for this kind of sweater for years.

Bought this and wore it on my honeymoon. Now I only have the memory of the sweater in my pictures. I washed it according to the label and it became felted and essentially unwearable. I am sure I will eventually buy another, sigh, but right now I’m just bummed I didn’t read the reviews before washing it.

I bought this sweater on two separate occasions. The first one shrunk so much it fit my five-year-old better than it fit me. So I thought I must have washed it wrong (cold, lay out to dry, did I miss something?) — got another. Exact same situation. I LOVED this sweater but it’s unwearable unless you plan to just never wash it, ever. Sadly can’t justify purchasing a third (Aritzia what were you guys thinking with this one…?)
