I bought this sweater in a mustard yellow colour, before there were many reviews on the website. After 2-3 wears, even before washing, the sweater began to pill extensively. I thought it was just me - that I was doing something wrong - but my experience seems to be consistent many other reviewers who posted subsequent to my purchasing the garment. I love the fit and the weight of the material, but I wouldn't recommend buying this sweater due to what seems to be a widespread issue with pilling.

I love the style and fit of the Ty Cardigan, however it started to pill after one use and hasn't turned out to be the high quality that I expect from Aritzia - it looks really worn out after only owning it for a short period of time. I wear it lot but would not purchased another one.

The Ty Cardigan fits true to size, is well made and is very warm. I find that the material snags very easily though, however, this is not a deal breaker. I would purchase item again.

It saddens me to write this because I absolutely love the look, feel, and fit of this cardigan, but do not buy this!
After only a handful of wears and washing it twice (in cold water, on delicate cycle with only other delicate fabrics, and laid flat to dry) the pilling on it makes it look horrible. It is almost unwearable because of how awful the pilling is.
Save your money and stay away from this.

Both my co-worker and I bought this sweater, we both got so many compliments and we absolutely loved the shape and fit. After 3-5 wears (no washes) it was soooo pilled. Basically everywhere. Cuffs on the arms, where your purse rubs, the back. Everywhere. Stay far far away.

Fits perfectly and really comfortable. Convenient for the colder weather and the time of year.

It looks very nice and it's cozy but the quality is actually very bad. It started pilling after the first wear! For that price it's honestly unacceptable! Would not recommend at all!

Looks nice and is comfy, but started pilling right away on the sides at the areas where the bag touches the fabric, under arms where the sleeves touch sides of the cardigan and inside due to friction with clothes. It looked kinda crappy after just one day of wear. Don't waste your money on this one.

The coziest ever + warm cardigan, but I was super sad when this started pilling on the arms and back after just two wears! Not sure I would buy this again for the price point.

Seems well made, fabric cozy and doesn’t pill

A classic staple in design, but the quality of the knit is terrible for the price. This sweater pills and pulls and look terrible with use. Dry fingers, jewelry, seat belts, hardware on purses...anything will cause this knit fabric to look worn. I am constantly following up with my sweater shaver. It is a lot of maintenance to keep this sweater looking fresh. I have owned this less than a month and I will not consider this my go-to sweater as I intended for the fall. Very disappointing for the amount they are charging. I would not recommend this cardigan if you were going to wear this regularly.

Amazing fit and material, so soft. a few things i’d change is how easily it pills around arms, it probably wouldn’t as much if it were machine washable, but it’s not so that’s also difficult.

This cardigan is warm and stylish. Perfect for autumn!

How refreshing to see navy!! I get really tired of all the black. Navy is so pretty all year round and how nice to be able to get a good quality cardi in navy. Nice work, Aritzia. Would love to see more navy options.

I love these sweaters! I have a couple of the colours and love the length.

Well tailored and TTS not itchy and nice fabric. I purchased in the yellow colour and it’s gorgeous. Will definitely buy in other colours!
