the slouch

I have been eyeing this coat for two years, and finally took the plunge. The oversized fit is very favourable, only wish I had bought this in the short version since I had to get this shortened to fit my 5ft 1 frame.

Love it, really warm and chic.

I wanted an oversized jacket that I can wear with all my thick winter wool sweaters. Arms and waist are large enough to wear the oversized sweaters and allows you still have room to move your arms without restrictions. I also wear the jacket without the oversized sweaters and the jacket looks great, it gives an oversized appearance but is structured enough that it doesn't look sloppy. Goes with every out fit, for dressing up or down! I am 5'2 and the length hits my shins. Usual size is xs-s in pants and shirts, and ize 2 in pants and dresses. bought a size 1.

Tout simplement magnifique, le porcentage de cachemire le rend très doux, par contre il est un peu grand, chez Aritzia j'habille habituellement du small et du x-small quand le fit est relaxe.

Im a usual XS i tried on a 1 and a 2 in store and although the 1 still gave me room to layer sweaters underneath, i opted for the 2 for the even more slouchy look. the 1 definitely gave me a more classic/sleek look if that's what youre looking for. I also like the length of the 2 better - it hit me at midcalf and I'm 5'7. im obsessed with the coat though! The material is slightly heavier than the camel hair one. the olive green is what sold me

I bought this in chocolate brown and it’s the nicest coat I’ve ever owned. Perfect amount of looseness, comfort, and warmth. I bought a size 1 and I’m 5’2/110lbs - sits on my frame perfectly!

I ordered the green color and it's very nice and chic. I tried both size 1 and 2. The recommended size was 2 but based on the reviews I got 1 first, it was more of a structured look and fit better around my shoulders and chest but was kind tight around the hips when closed. I decided to get size 2 instead, more of an oversized look but I can easily close it and won't feel squeezed in.

The fit on this jacket is a little larger and relaxed. I followed the websites recommendation and got a 2! It’s perfect for me because I can wear it open and really enjoy the oversized look, or have a sweater underneath and wear it closed comfortably.

Significantly lower quality of fabric that does not match the price compared to their other coats. Get the only coat instead

Bought this in a Size 1, in the gorgeous olive leaf green colour. The Aritzia site recommended the Size 2 which turned out WAY TOO big on me. My regular size is an XS or S. I recommend going into the store to try this on before you buy! In the Size 1, I am still able to fit a hoodie underneath and button it up. It looks oversized but not in a bad way, and hits me just above the shin. This is a coat I can rock even in the cold Albertan winters. So excited to get more wear out of this.

This is definitely oversized for me. I'm not sure how a size 1 would have fit me, as this is my first purchase from Aritzia. I love the length and weight of the coat. Sleeves are a good length for me as well. I will be able to layer like I wanted. It is nice and long but not too long. I love that it is lined. The quality seems very good. I have not gotten to wear it out yet.The color is fantastic. I am now looking at the stedman coat in the cammal hair. I sure wish there was a store near me! Would love to try on before purchase. One suggestion is for them not to put the tags on the sleeve. I had a time removing the extra loose threads. They were not the same color as the coat.

I literally wear this everyday. I love the fit and it’s so warm. It’s quite long (I am 5’7 and it just hits the top of my Uggs), so if you’re shorter keep this in mind. It runs true to aritzia sizing. I usually am an 8/10 in bottoms and got this in a 2. Fits super well even with clunky winter sweaters and pants under it.

I really love this coat. It's well made and very stylish. The oversized fit is interesting - When closed it slims down quite a bit and I'm afraid if I gain a few pounds in my hips it might not fit as well, which is surprising considering how roomy it is when open. But overall it's a fabulous coat. I'm 5'4" and 118 lbs, purchased a size 1. Hits about mid-shin on me.

I am obsessed with this coat. I love the oversized yet tailored fit and soft material. I am not sure how this would look on someone shorter, as it is quite long (I am 5foot8). I also have the Cocoon coat, but I think this style is a little more trendy and fun.

this is a gorgeous coat that can elevate any outfit . It definitely fits oversized (as it's meant to)- so I do recommend I trying it on in store before purchasing - as the coat is fairly long/oversized. I bought it in the Olive Leaf Green colour and it is a beautifully unique colour - the picture online does not do the colour justice.

The oversized fit of the coat keeps me comfortable while feeling ‘put together’ at all times. Easy to dress up or dress down. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a timeless wool coat that is also comfortable and easy to throw on.

I am usually a small/size 1 in TNA jackets/sweaters so I stuck with my usual size and it’s the perfect oversized fit. I found the length to be just right as it hits just below the knee. The dovetail color is much prettier in person! Pictures don’t do it justice. I’d highly recommend the lined version!

I juste received my new Slouch coat in Saville and this coat is GOAL!!! The material is perfect, the thickness is perfect, the stitching is perfect, the FIT IS ABSOLUTE PERFECTION and amazing quality. The only downside for me is that the coat is a bit long in my opinion, but that's my fault, I'm only 5'3.
For reference I am usually a size S and 4-6 in pants (5'3 135 lbs) and went with a size 1. "Structured" oversized fit, enough of room for layering. I would highly recommand this gorgeous coat!

Really pleased with this jacket. The detail in the stitching is beautiful! Love the length and deep pockets. Found the color to be less pinky than pictured online much more of a true taupe.

I am very much in love with this coat. perfect over size fit, I would recommend going up to a 2 if you are a little on the tall side. But all in all it’s warm and a great item to have in the closet ☺️

The coat is very warm and the color is so beautiful. The fabric has 2 layers, which are of good quality and make the coat very stylish. It is long and reaches below my knees. I'm 5'7. The only thing that it could do better is to relax around the hips. I got size 1 and when I close it, it hugs my hips tightly. My hip measure is 36-37 inches. I know that I have a pear shaped body so I can't really blame the coat. A size 2 is too big around my shoulder, waist and everywhere. Overall size 1 fits better than size 2 on me.

I have been so thrilled with this coat. The material is soft and beautifully thick, and I can confirm that it was been sufficiently warm in 30 degree temperatures! The length is wonderful and it has the perfect oversized fit to look slouchy without being sloppy. It also has fabulously deep pockets--a serious consideration with winter coats--and a bonus internal breast pocket with a button for safekeeping!

Liked it but because I am broad shouldered I need a medium. I have been in contact with the concierge who were going to send one over to the Coquitlam store as a personal shopping experience…….I haven’t heard about my appointment so I hope they put one aside for me??????

The coat feels & looks premium. Quite thick & warm. Better fit for medium and tall girls.

I bought this style in black couple weeks ago, and did not think i would want the Dovetail Taupe. However, when I saw in store and tried in on, I instantly feel in love. There are actually two different "Slouch Coat"s with different materials, one is the black, camel, brown, cocoa sand with 8% polyester and the rest camel and wool, and this one in Dovetail Taupe and dark grey with 78% wool and 22% polyamide. I was biased and thought the ones with less wool would not look as good, but im wrong to judge a coat by its content table. I went in store for Davenport and Claridge coats, both 50% off and have more wool content than the Slouch in taupe and grey, but the Slouch in Dovetail Taupe looks so much better both on and on a hanger. It looks very smooth and beautiful. It is long and oversized on, for reference, I'm 5"3 and 97 lbs and purchased size 1.

I purchased this coat last year in the camel colour and absolutely fell in love with it, so I couldn't resist purchasing it again this year but in a dark grey. It fits like a dream and is the perfect thing to wear during the winter months if you're not a fan of puffy down coats like me. The only thing is that I noticed it fits slightly tighter around the hips than the other coat I have, but that's a non-issue as it's still roomy. If you are typically a 1/XS in coats, stick with your normal size.
