the powder dri parka™ long

I'm 5'1", 115lbs and have spent too much money on coats, parkas, jackets that don't fit. I wanted a parka that was long and warm enough to get me through NYC winters and this is the perfect thing. Waterproof to avoid sleet and snow and definitely warm without the bulk (while trying to fit into crowded the crowded train car). Arms are a perfect length, hand/thumb holes are a great detail to keep my hands warm. The side flaps open for extra room for movement are helpful for walking up the stairs or just sitting without feeling constricted (especially considering the length). The inner straps are perfect for when I need to take it off while indoors but don't want to carry it in my arms. Don't hesitate and get it now.

The material is pretty durable. I like how waterproof it is. I’m 5’3” and it falls mid calf for me. It’s also not that heavy compared to other winter parkas I’ve tried.

Gorgeous coat and love almost everything about it. I ordered a Med thought it would be a little bigger as I had tried the super puff on for size reference in a Med and probably could have gone with a small in that style. The cut under the arms i is very odd if you have to drive or bend over to tie boots it cuts into you but if I had gone up to the large it would have been far too big everywhere else. I also don't think it's good to -40 and I won't be able to wear a sweater underneath due to the tight fit under the arms. I wish i could return but will end up keeping.

I can say enough about this coat. The coat keeps me extremely warm. Its flattering in the best way for a puffer. Would recommend this over the other puffer coats. I purchased the white in xs.

I don’t drive - walk pretty much everywhere, and when living in Canada you truly need a good coat. This one is GREAT. Loveee.<333

I have been eyeing the long aritzia parkas for a while now and finally bought one. I prefer the more sleek look of the powder parka over the super puff. For reference, I am 5'8 and 130 lbs. The jacket hits just below the knees. I tried on both the small and extra small and while both fit great, the small gave me a little extra room in the shoulder area and I didn't feel as constricted. I wear an XS in the super puffs and a S in the powder parka. The fabric on the powder parka is more structured than the superpuffs. Definitely go with your normal size for this parka. The overall look is very nice and sleek. Great zippered pockets that are waterproofed as well.

I love the weight, the feel, the warmth of this coat. Only thing I wish it could have is underarm vents. But I’ll be hanging on to this jacket for years to come.

the coat is great but the surface tends to draw dirt. last night, we have followed the instruction to clean but later found out that the "puffiness" hasn't came back. The feather is now congested at the bottom of the jacket and can not get it back to where it was.

At this price range, we are looking forward to a solution but also warning folks....

I originally wanted the super puff Long but was sold out and gave this jacket a go. It is incredibly warm, and i LOVE the green colour.
Definitely a long lasting coat and I really like the use of recycled filling as an environmental/humane alternative.

Love it! Perfect for Canadian winters and walking dog in all kinds of winter weather. I wish I had bought it years ago. Warm, waterproof, well-made, comfortable

Great coat. I am 5’8” -130 and a size Small is perfect. The sleeves are long enough, the length of the coat is very long. Its warm but I do not agree with the -40 rating. I wear 3 or 4 layers including a down sweater, but i run cold.. it may be warm enough for most people. Its perfect though because i will get more wear out of it through the full season as it warms up into spring. Feels good, not heavy or bulky.

At 5'1", I appreciated the petite version of the Babaton Slouch, so I wish they had petite versions of the Powder Dri Parka Long, but without making it longer everytime you go up a size. I like to wear things a little oversize because I like to layer and not feel constricted, so I like going up to a medium, but going up a size makes the length even longer so it looks ridiculous. I wear a medium in the Babaton Slouch, and it doesn't look like petite fit at all, but still better than a normal Slouch. I'm 115lbs with broad shoulders because I climb.

I have been searching for a long parka for a while now that could hold up in Northern Canadian winters. I ordered a few styles from different websites and ultimately ended up keeping this one. Some features that I liked included the magnetic snaps (super convenient), the insulated hood (keeps the cool wind out and protects the face), and the fact that it is weather proof. So far it has held up in - 30 temperature, so I am pretty impressed. I ordered a size small and medium originally. The small fit perfectly for everyday wear and looked slimming, however, I ended up keeping the medium because it was less restricting and provided lots of room for movement. It was also less tight around the neck when fully zipped. I would say to size up if you are wanting to layer and are going to be wearing it for any type of outdoor physical activity in the cold. I took one star off because the design of the shoulders on the coat could be adjusted. Both on the small and medium (the small much more) it felt a little restrictive when I would raise my arms or crouch to tie my boots.

This parka is super warm and comfortable. I got the green and the color is so pretty. It's true to size, I'm 5'6" and 115 lbs and the XS fits perfectly. I tried on the 2XS and it fit, but was too tight around the back/arm area for me. My favorite feature are the backpack straps on the inside so you can wear it over your back when you don't want to carry it.

This coat is light weight but keeps you warm!

Light weight and yet extremely warm from head to ankle. I ordered a larger size so I would have room for a bulky sweater but haven't needed an extra sweater because it is so warm. I also wanted it long to cover me up for long walks.

Lives up to the claims of warmest and waterproof. This coat does not disappoint. Held up easily through the recent frigid temperatures and snow in Vancouver beautifully.

I really love this Parka, love the length, and the fact it is waterproof, and warm. I love the magnetic button closures, which makes it actually useable. I also like that you can easily walk in it, even with it being long. The only thing I don't like is that the shoulders are cut tight, its a larger fit over all, but the shoulders are snug, so when pulling arms forward or up it pulls funny and I think the design should be reconsidered. I would not size up due to the oversize nature of the jacket, so this to me is why I rated it 4 stars.

It's a very good quality coat and at the same time very good looking. Very slimming looking but it's not tight, just the right fit. It's expensive but worths every penny, you won't regret getting this! Love the black! In my opinion, the version is much more luxurious than the Super Puff version. Highly recommend! (except for the price!)

Beautiful coat and great quality however please please please make the parkas with removable hoods!!!!! I don't understand why they cost more than the puffers when there is no option to remove the hood. For more money it should be more functional. I like the parkas better than the puffers because they are more classic and not as marshmallowy if you know what I mean but the damn hood doesn't come off so I returned it.

Lovely coat, I would suggest sizing down.

I'm 5'2 and was worried the XS might look too oversized for me, but it fits PERFECTLY. I'm obsessed with the inner gloves, the magnetic snaps, and two-way zip - it's too easy to throw on and not have to zip all the way up. It keeps me incredibly warm on a cold day. I've already inspired 2 people to buy this jacket on the spot. I'm yet to test out how waterproof it is, but I am hopeful - so far so good!

The fit and fabric are great. It’s slimmer that the regular puff which is what I wanted. However, the closures are magnetic instead of snaps and you have to make sure to line them up perfectly and then they still open. Had to send it back.
